- After watching this video you will be able to:
1. Describe Femoroacetabular Joint Movement
2. Identify Open versus Closed Kinematic Chain Movements
3. Describe Sagittal Plane Open Kinematic Chain Femoroacetabular Joint movement
4. Describe Frontal Plane Open Kinematic Chain Femoroacetabular Joint movement
5. Describe Transverse Plane Open Kinematic Chain Femoroacetabular Joint movement
I love your videos!! They are so helpful! Is there a part 2 on the closed chain?
Thank you thank you so much for this video tomorrow I have my master exam in physiotherapy and I really need kinetics and kinematics of each joint you have uploaded on every joint thanks Alexandra sending lots of love from India 🇮🇳❤️❤️❤️ by the way I'm an Indian physiotherapist
Thank for ur video. It's helping!!!!
Spasibo Andrush, glad you enjoyed it!
Why hip flexion and extension there will be spinning and in knee flexion and extension there will be rolling included ..
Thank you so much 🌺
Just what i was looking for, thank you. Can you describe the movement of femur flextion in terms of gliding and rolling?
Very helpful !!
thank you so much for this! please make more
Please post part 2 of the hip joint biomechanics.
Femur spins or rolls in flexion?
So for the external rotation of the acetabulofemoral joint, if it's closed chain, how is the roll posterior and the glide not also posterior? Because if its concave on convex, doesn't the glide also have to be the same so it would be posterior roll and posterior glide?
yes cuz the rule is concave on convex.
In case the femur is fixed, the pelvis will follow the opposite principle?
Thank you
Where did you buy this skeleton?
How you mobilise?
you mean the coxal joint?
roll in the same direction*

There is no ROLLING hip joint play.
