Another purpose of the liquid death packaging was so that sober people could hold something at a festival or out with friends and people wouldn’t constantly be asking them to get a drink vs holding like a plastic bottle of water.

On Liquid Death: my husband and many of our friends are sober. It's kind of a fun 'Different' way for them to have a canned sparkling water that isn't in pastels or something. Seems simple but at parties sometimes it's hard for sober people who used to drink, and it definitely helps. Also, the flavors are good. But yes, otherwise just water lol

The cheesecake KitKats are awesome because they can actually be baked! Of course they’re tasty as is, but they’re fantastic when popped in the toaster oven for a short moment. It actually says on the packaging that they’re designed to be baked!

A couple other people have mentioned it, but I wanted to throw it in too! Liquid Death is nice because it does look like a beer or cocktail, for people that are not drinking but don't want it to be obvious or make them stand out! I have also gotten them for friends who didn't need to be drinking anymore and they didn't notice they were hydrating themselves instead, so it was a win! They sell them at all of the concerts and sporting events here now

FYI I could NEVER film two videos in one day LOL - the set up, prep, film and takedown for each video takes up an entire school day (I try and wrap before the kids come home). Maybe one day!!

Sugru is amazing! Besides, doing all my head cords and charging cords, I put black on a pair of old heels and added mirrors I bought from the craft section, and now my boots are cool as heck. The possibilities are limitless. Keep it in the refrigerator to make it last longer and try to use it all up and want to go. Once it is unsealed, it will cure quickly.

You're so right about the packaging of certain items being overkill. I opened a bottle of veggie oil yesterday and first the top plastic peeled off the paper, then the bottom plastic was so freaking thick I nearly broke my thumbnail trying to push it down. Had to get a knife. THEN, the glue around the edge was so tough I couldn't even peel all the sealer off in pieces, especially since it's OIL and got slippery. I gave up.

I'd 100% recommend the eyemask headphones! I can't fall asleep without sound but it bothers my companions when I'm traveling, and the eyemask headphones work a treat. The sound quality isn't the best, but since you're falling asleep with them it's not a problem for me. The little speakers can move around in the mask for you to adjust to your head size.

A lot of concert venues have liquid death sparkling and still water as the only water in their concessions and i think the main reason is to reduce single use plastic water bottles but also the marketing means they can jack up the price of water even more than they already do.

Even I couldn't figure it out and I'm pretty tech-savvy. Also, I've had lemon Kit Kats and Strawberry ones. Both were white chocolate with that flavor. They were so good! Kintsuglue (the brand of moldable glue I can get in-store here in Sweden) is honestly a game changer. My laptop chord looked the same as yours - has been fixed and safe for years now. My favourite phone case had a chunk taken out of it because I'm a clutz - molded a new corner and it works perfectly. Sole of my sneaker coming off and I only wear sneakers for gym/moving house/field work - stuck some kintsuglue in there and now it's attached but can still bend and flex. I always keep it in the house these days.

Australia does actually have alps. They're just not that high. Well, they're high enough to get snow in winter, but not much more. There is no sparkling water factory there that I know of.

I found Sugru 8 years ago! It's fantastic and really holds up over time and abuse. I have 5 kids (adults now), and when I had 3 teens still in the house, everyone stole everyone else's cords. So I pre-emptively hit each cord at the fray points with colors they picked out. Problem solved! Also, you can mix colors to create your favorite shade. Highly recommend!

My go to grease remover is plain old classroom chalk. I just rub it on and around the stain until it leaves a fine powder behind. Let sit for a few hour, I do 24 generally and 48 for really bad stain. Then I wash. You can see the grease soak into the chalk.

I have sciatica and it can get pretty bad. I recently started acupuncture and it's been a game changer. Now my chiropractor is able to get my lower back to adjust with less effort, but with greater benefits. I also get cupped during my treatment sessions. I love it so much I bought some from Amazon. That would be something worth testing.

Sugru is awesome. I've had some fixes that have lasted for at least five years. The only thing I don't like about the product is that even the unopened packages have a use-by date. You can extend those by keeping them in the fridge.

Can you pin an update on the stain spray when you have one? So many accidentally dryer set stains in our house…some of them are even on the kid’s clothes 😊

I have something like your trigger point thing, but mine is cane shaped with some extra knobs. It’s called a Thera-Cane and I had it prescribed for me years ago when I was having shoulder issues. It’s awesome! When those trigger points let go, it’s heavenly.
I’ve also used Sugru for quite some time too. I have an older iPhone lightning cord that I reinforced near the connector at least 5 years ago and the Sugru has finally cracked and I should redo it. I also put it near the connector on my phone’s wired earbuds (that are at least 5 years old too). They’re doing great as well. Can’t recommend the stuff highly enough. Just be aware that it doesn’t last in the package for years. It will eventually just set up, so don’t lay in a huge stock that won’t get used within a year. Buy enough to repair or enhance things within a couple of months and buy fresh when you need to do do more jobs.

Why buy sparkling water, when you can make it yourself. Almost everyone I know has a sodastream. I live in Denmark, and I’m Danish and I feel like it’s normal to have a sodastream in your house in Denmark. You can make your own sparkling water, mild, medium or crazy with bubbles. It’s gold! 100/10 would recommend 👍🏽

I'm not sure if you've already tried one of these, but I highly recommend using a Bluetooth sleep mask to listen to music/podcasts while sleeping. It's wireless, so you don't have to worry about pulling wires, and blocks out light too! And they're very comfortable too!

Simple hack for anyone with back pain: get a tennis ball and use it to massage your back against a wall! It works really well for getting those tight knots and grips the wall pretty well. Alternatively, you can use it while lying on the floor (will put a lot more pressure on the point), great for the lower back and glutes.

Hey Rachel!! I don’t know if there’s many OMT specialists in Canada but it seems like something you could benefit from with the back pain that you have. I’m actually a DO student and part of our training in addition to regular medical school things is OMT training where we learn to actually treat things like trigger points and get to the root of issue. Just something to think about if you haven’t tried that option yet!!
