** UPDATE: washed it a few times with no issues, I do find it mildly annoying that when holding it that the bottle indents at the lines when you're holding it to drink and it takes a bit of practice to fold up and down, but I do plan on bringing this on family trips to theme parks and things in the future! No cracks as of yet!

Yes, Scrub Daddy is very expensive, I was pondering that as well. But they also supply YT cleaning channels that clean hoarder homes or homes that struggle with cleanliness for various reasons for free. Which I absolutely love. ❤❤❤

Just get an insulated bag I just bought one from Marshalls for $3. It kept my ice cream, waffles and pancakes frozen while I shopped and drove home.
@@msdouglas12100 I use those big insulted cooler bags- they can fit 2 gallons of milk and then some, I absolutely love them. We live in Arizona and drive 40 miles one way to shop, so cooler bags or ice chests are essential!

So, if anyone was curious on the water bottles. I actually bought them for theme parks, and it was a slight pain if I’m being totally honest. Like Rachel demonstrated, it’s so easy to accidentally squeeze it too hard and water go everywhere, especially in a theme park where people are bumping into you at every turn. The only way I found it’s useable is to fill it only about 3/4 of the way in order to leave room for the inevitable. Hope that helps anyone who was looking to purchase!
Did it affect the flavour of the water? I find some plastic bottle make the water taste and smell “plasticky”.
@@giselled.4149 I washed it really well first and I didn’t notice any strange taste, and I’m usually fairly sensitive to that. :)

the weird thing about that origami bottle, I have something exactly like that that i got off amazon a few years ago for like 12 bucks. it seems weird to me that this was a kickstarter since the product already existed. with the exact same "folds" and everything. I use the one i got for my walks. i fill it, leave, and once its empty, fold it up and stick it in my pocket.
What makes it special is its plant-based. All the other ones are made of silicone

Really curious about the longevity of that water bottle 🤔I’m a sucker for beverage containers of all kinds and I’d love to save some cabinet space.
I have a version of that water bottle and it is very sturdy...it's silicone and I used it to travel around Europe with no issues. The one that I have is more like a sports bottle with a flip up lid 2hich keeps you from having the potential spill issue.
Im more curious about how long it stays cold now that would be an even better product😁
Excellent point that you can’t take water bottles through security at airports in North America now. But you could fold that up and then fill it at a water fountain on the other side! Theme parks are another good example. A bottle of water can cost $8 at some parks!!
@@RockinTROUBLE4U720 that’s my concern. I work in a factory, and there’s no climate control. It gets dangerously hot in the summer, and even a heavily insulated cup doesn’t keep ice long.
Definitely should've scooped the ice cream to see the texture. There would likely have been many changes in texture over the four hours. Just a visual examination seems like a pretty worthless test...
I would love an update on the origami bottle in like six months.
Frost buddy (who was on sharktank a while ago) just came put with a "To-Go buddy" thays made to keep drinks cold (fits all sizes of McDonald's, Starbucks, dunkin.. most places) but it also fits a pint of ice cream.. and it can be doubled as a tumbler. It works amazing and it fits in cup holders! I have 2 😂
Dollarama scrub daddies are great! Easy to get and work imo just as well as the full sized versions.

If you ice the ice cream container before putting your pint in it will last even longer, I send my nanny kids ice cream for lunch on their last day of school just by icing their lunch thermos. 😊
Rach- thoughts on the origami bottle after more usage??
I have a roll up silicone water bottle (looks like a regular bottle one unrolled). It’s not only invaluable when travelling but I also thinks it’s less of a projectile in the car! Thanks for testing everything…I’m totally buying those cocktail pods.

If the ice cream caddy keeps things warm too it would be perfect for making noodle. It’s such a craze in my office to bring instant noodles in a thermos, they have the time to soak up all the water but stay warm. You should try it.
Suggestion for shark tank product: Pashion Footwear!!! I love mine, and I bought them before they updated the design to have a locking mechanism on the heels. They're definitely worth checking out!
I got my mom that foldable water bottle off amazon for christmas last year and she absolutely loves it. She took it everywhere all during the summer.

We saw the drink bombs at a booth at the county fair. They look great! They are pricey, but compared to the $7 and up you'd pay at a bar, the prices were fair, plus no mixing if you suck at it and just want a foncy drink. 😂
Yeah! I was thinking they would be great for like camping and stuff where you don't necessarily want lug around the ingredients. With that you would just need sparking water and liquor.

The origami bottle is awesome! I’m thinking theme parks, airport. I will be buying one.
If you keep the lid on the folded origami bottle, you will not be able to expand it, as you won't be able to fill it with air and the "vacuum" inside will not allow you to expand it. And the reverse is true - if you have the lid on OR cover the top opening with your hand and try to push down, you won't be able to fold it, as the air/contents inside and their pressure won't allow for that (and when you first tried to fold it, you covered it with your hand, so the air had no way to escape and it kept the bottle expanded).

Those fizzy cocktail things have been around for years I love them. And that foldable water bottle they have versions of that here in the States that have been around for years also but they tend to collapse so I guess that's what makes his different

I purchased collapsible water bottles for our Disney vacay last summer, and they worked out great! They were a different brand, I believe, and much easier to collapse.
Canadian Tire also has scrub daddy and scrub mommy (on the east coast anyway)

We play spikeball on all of our family vacations. Incredible if you have kids and teens. They play for hours.
I have had a foldable water bottle for years called a platypus bottle. It is more like a pouch that you would get puree or kids smoothies in (but bigger of course) and you can roll it up when it is empty.
That is the cutest idea that you are already feeding your niece or nephew when you make ice cream for your pregnant sisters in law 😭💕
I didn’t take that specific collapsible water bottle, but I highly recommend taking them to Disney/universal. It was amazing at universal, since they have the water stations around the park but you aren’t lugging around bottles unless you are drinking them. It’s awesome.
