atif plays kuma and he had more than enough knowledge to beat kuma, credit goes to rangchu and still atif played very good 2nd place from looser side is still an achievement
Complete downplay of rangchu as a player to say he only won because of matchup knowledge , you're making exeuses for his loss. Rangchu was better in that set so he won. While against drag at that, learning a matchup doesn't mean you'll beat everyone on that character btw.
Atif knows kuma very well, he used to play him. There were some nerves because Arslan and Jon got eliminated but ultimately he lost because rangchu was simply better, stop with the disrespect.
The grand finals of tekken are always bogus and bullshit. Losers side is at a disadvantage, which doesn't happen in any other sport. Imagine in soccer, if in the finals, one team got a 3-goal headstart! I think there shouldn't be any advantage in the grand finals. In fact, I think the person qualifying from losers side has a more difficult journey than the one in winners side; every match for them is an elimination match, while asswipes on the winners side keep joining the losers bracket. Overall, tekken tournaments are designed to keep talented players from winning tournaments.
Everyone in the tournament has two lives; why should the grand finals suddenly take one of players' lives? Yes winners' side progresses faster and losers' side is harder
You know that's how it's always been right? Hell in basketball, a team can get home court advantage for having a higher seed which means a lot for the mental of the players Also, if those players were as talented as you said, they'd be in the Winners side instead of Losers. Just doesnt work like that. They are all talented and the better player will win despite the disadvantages
The Loser's side is supposed to be at a disadvantage.....THEY LOST AND GOT SENT DOWN THERE. You are not supposed to reward failure. Loser's side should not even exist.....it should first to 5 total elimination. If you lose....youre out.
The player in losers only has a harder journey because they have already lost once. They make their job difficult themselves. In fact, the system is civil enough to give them a second chance *after* losing. We can argue balancing and chars and everything, but regarding tournament rules, they specifically work in a way that benefits the strongest and most consistent player, which was without a doubt Rangchu, whilst still giving a fair chance to the other players who have lost once, but may still adapt and overcome the challenge. It seems unfathomable that a grown up adult, with a functioning brain and voting rights, can't seem to grasp something so simple. Please, take some moments to think and realize how tournaments work before embarrassing yourself again.
