Blue rank King here, but my general game plan is to bully my opponent with mids to condition them into standing guard, which is ideal for King's throw game. That means a lot of neutral: df1,2 (don't always finish the string), df2,1 (don't always finish the string), hop knee, df3 (catches SS to King's weak side), f4 (this move has 110% accuracy, lol), and crouch jab. Reserve FF*2 for high crushing and long range poke, you don't want to condition the crouch, and you don't want this move to get stale, it's a fantastic tool. On defense, utilize king's high crushing strengths (atlas hammer-high risk but high reward, ff*2, duck>wr 12, duck>fc-f2...etc), armor (b3, and muscle armor, etc.), and CH options (B1, FF*2, and shove, etc.).
