Love seeing the old and new cars side by side. The new ones look great and I’m kinda excited that the are driverless because that means the new cars will have a railfan window so you can stand at the front and enjoy looking into the tunnels and stations from a operators perspective. :)
New air-conditioned subway trains for the Glasgow Underground. Does look really good. Perhaps Stadler Rail and Hitachi Rail STS (Ansaldo STS) could also manufacture the new London Underground tube stocks to replace the 1972 Stock on the Bakerloo Line. And the 1992 Stock on the Central Line and Waterloo & City Line. As Siemens is to manufacture the new Siemens Inspiro tube stocks for the Piccadilly Line to replace the 1973 Stock.
I’m not from England but I ride the 1992 stocks in Central Line before and it’s still feels not that out dated, the windows and doors are still using the latest designs (which are on the 2009 stocks),the whole train in general just needs a bit of refurbishing to make it new again!
They break down all the time, it drives me fucking crazy.. Your trying to catch a train at Partick , when you hear over the tannoy.. Outer circle cancelled.. At least 3 times a week.
It's a joke SPT stll not got tham in service co Should step down Very poor company This would not happen in London or USA SNP government should be ashamed

I believe the old trains were automatic too, but there was still a driver there to open the doors and take over in an emergency
@@thegroupofreptiles6823 yep
I love the Glasgow subway it's so cute
looks cute
Agrre
That is the smallest subway train I've ever seen LOL
I believe they have to fit in existing tunnels
@Premium Gaming I donno, it looks the best but in I think the tube is better
they are narrow gauge.
The guage is only 4 foot and the tunnels were dug in the 1890s
and shortest
I have never seen such a cool and futuristic trains !
It took SPT, 4 years to get this on tracks!!
Somehow even curvier and cuter than before.
Three years later and still not in service 🤔
Looking forward to riding in the new trains😍
They look really nice designed trains
It's so sleek and cute lol
Can’t wait
I am from Scotland. So I went to Hillhead and cowcaddens.

Apparently the Central line is cancelling it's replacement and instead improving the 1992 stock
@@youtube_Y0utube yup, they just tested the new air conditioned 92 stock with wheelchair areas.
1972 Stock are likely also to be replaced by the Siemens trains.

And when they refurbish the 1992 stocks they really should put Aircon innit
I wonder when new train service get starting.
The livery on the 1977/80 stock is nicer than that plain white
😃👍
That would be great for a Belfast train.
That's not a train, that's a tunnel at a children's playground
That reminds me of something...WAIT IS THIS THAT METRO ON BATHWICK AND SOMERSET????
Caneta. The roblox game just has the Glasgow train added to the metro from Glasgow Real life.
had them for over year still yet to be used... what's the hold up?
It's SPT, there are few occasions without delays
Testing they are driverless
Will they ever enter service??
now if only they were in service
So tiny!
Fun fact: five years from the time I’m writing this these trains will be in service
Why so long? Is the one in the video just a demo prop?
@@James-gc5if mind you, the supposed “2020 tube stock” in London won’t be in service until 2025
