Hey buddy just wanted to say thanks for showing these helmets I just bought the rpha 11 pro online based on it being smaller and me wearing a medium as well. I hate the bobblehead look and I'm coming from an exo r710 as my helmet of 5 years. Can't wait to try the rpha. Thank you
I'm curious the manufactured date of the RPHA 1, Bought RPHA 11 (Spiderman) back in 2017 and it had the Date of October 2016. If you look under the headliner, there is a date code sticker. HJC RPHA 1N replaces the 11. There is a debate when to replace the helmet, some say replace it every 5 years even if it hasn't been used much since materials degrade in safety over time. At motorcycle stores I've seen helmet that was over 7 years old and still selling them with no discount. Dealers should not sell helmets that's over 2 years old or older from manufactured date without letting the customer know.
Great point. think mine is a 2021 if I am not mistaken. I found it on Amazon for $100 cheaper than the sale price at Revzilla so I didn't really care much.
do you have and turbulence near ears? Like the wind is passing to your ears? because now i have an agv k1s, and i had alot of windnoise coming through neck to my ears... (i have naked bike) I Dont know what to choose in terms of sound and wind isolation
BT-S3, which I bought a while back for $50 from Amazon. I had the Cardo on the Scorpion; however, I swapped it to the HJC since it is my favorite between the 2.

I'm really unsure how or why people call these "mid-range" when the Scorpion is a carbon shell, and arguably just as safe as anything else?

I'm looking for the best ventilated closed helmet I can find. Is the rpha11 up for the challenge?
Do you have to maintenance? The gears for the screen goes up and down and make oil for it my shoie helmet came with it.
Haven't done that nor it came with any oil. Maybe I should try that since it is getting loud and bouncy.

Does the scorpion fit the same headshape as the rpha 11?
Kinda. I own the scorpion but admittedly prefer the fit of the hjc. But very subject due to head shape
what are size of the helmets?
Both are medium. The scorpion is narrower, but a little longer in height.
