Love your channel! It’s so great for beginners like me to learn landscapes. It’s so easy to get overwhelmed when looking at a reference picture and see hundreds of rocks and thousands of blades of grass…😵‍💫 This breaks it down nicely. Thanks for sharing your talent!!

Thanks! I am planning on doing more videos where I simplify reference photos so watch out for those.

I didn't know that the light follows the slope of the mountains! Thanks for sharing

Hi , I love your channel.. this way of working landscape is very interesting.. I love it.. I am curious di you work on cityscapes too? How to approach buildings or clusters of buildings.. would really love to know 😊

Thank you. I have tried some cityscapes like this but it is very time consuming. Drawing in windows etc, takes forever and I get bored tbh. It can certainly be done but it would take a lot longer than what my normal paintings do. I am trying out normal buildings right now though, farms and distant buildings, that kind of things. Keep an eye out for some buildings in my videos coming up.

@@DigitalPaintingWithMark thanks for the response..ya I was thinking the same.. drawing buildings would be very tedious..I will definitely keep my eyes open for your interpretation of buildings

I'm curious about your approach (or approaches) to choosing colors or using color palettes.

I will have to think about this and try to explain in a video. It is a lot to do with values, temperature and saturation rather than the actual colour itself. I think I have mentioned in my videos I am not too careful selecting colours and that is true. But you will also see me change them a lot as I go. Thank you for the question and it warrants some proper time spent on it. I will add it to my list of topics I need to talk about so look out for it 😀
