Thanks! I learnt by mostly copying other landscape paintings via videos. I started off using acrylics and canvases because I didn't want the apps/technology to get in the way. The theory is the same no matter what medium you use. Maybe you can afford an Ipad one day if you save up. You don't need this super fancy version of course, the other models are great too. I have an M1 Air as well and that is perfectly good enough for drawing.
Yeah, thanks for the review Mark👍🏻 I’ve got the 11 inch non-nano textured one terabyte I really don’t do much drawing… so do you have your 13 or the 11?
Thanks. I should have probably made that clear in the review but its the 13" I would say you definitely do not need the nano if you don't do much drawing.
Hello, sir. Did you feel any difference between Ipad and the cintiqs when applying veeeery light strokes? Because I have another display tablet (huion) that is very annoying when sketching lightly... i compare it to my 2018 Ipad, in which I barely touch and the lines are there.. is the cintiq that responsive? Thank you for the video! Beautiful painting!
Thank you! I just had a play about with my cintiq and touched very lightly. I barely have to touch it and marks appear. But. I went to the tablet settings and there is a Tip Feel option and you can change it from Soft to Firm. I changed it all the way up to firm and now I have to press quite hard (not crazy) to get any marks at all. Hope this helps. Maybe your tablet has the same kind of setting, I would probably think so.
Let me know if you are still trying to decide to buy one or not or if you have and what you think of it!
Thanks dude!
I’ve seen very noticeable sandy like effect on the nano texture screen especially on lighter background.
nice video! cant really afford an ipad either way but i like watching these lol
howd you learn to paint like that? it turned out nice!
