They make replacement hooks for that engine hoist that include a swivel in it. They’re less than $20 on Amazon and are a VERY good upgrade for an engine hoist.

Fyi. Sand the shaft of the jack on that engine lift. Plus oil it. Cover it if you leave it out. Last thing you want is that o ring giving out while you have that kind of weight in the air

be sure to use those jackstands on concrete pavement. if u use them on ground; be sure to use thick plywood or good 2by6 boards. Make sure it is SAFE!

Looking good but from personal experience I never install a engine while the truck is on jack stands and especially without the bed on and no weight in the back. I've had a truck fall of the jack stands. Atleast installed the back two tires.

Probably Not. Pulling radiator support and such woul allow for super EASY installation. I probably should have done that anyway because i have to run a new headlight harness anyway.

I used a BP Automotive harness on this truck. It was pretty nice quality.
