Great advice. Love your blood pressure videos. Too bad most doctors and medical places don't follow this advice. I have white coat syndrome and my pressure is always elevated there.

I remember my last Dr. mentioned coffee doesn't affect my heart rate when it was pumping higher than normal.. I never returned after that lol thanks for this, who needs health insurance, when we have you.

@@thesunnyedge I would, but I don't have her info. I've been better off taking care of myself eating clean, many greens, vegetables, doing exercise, and getting plenty of sleep. Having a nurse like you wouldn't hurt though 😏
You truly are amazing at what you do and who you are, keep it up 👏

Taking my bp when I’m not stressed or anxious would mean taking it while I’m asleep 😁
I had to go under for an op a few years back and bless them they had to cancel because my bp would not go low enough for the anaesthetist to be happy. All good now of course.
Thanks for the great video, very good tips 👍

Haha yea I’ve definitely seen stress and anxiety wreak some havoc on blood pressures over the years. Did they reschedule your op soon after I hope?

My cardiologist’s LPN needs to watch this video because she definitely does not follow even how my cardiologist told me she wants me to take my blood pressure. The LPN had me sitting on the examination table, I’m short so my legs and feet were dangling, the LPN did not let me remove my light weigh long sleeve. My diastolic number is 55 or lower when I take my blood pressure at home and I have 2 blood pressure machines so if I question the reading I can take it with the other machine. My cardiologist told me when I started seeing her how she wanted me to take my blood pressure and I follow her instructions BUT the LPN does not. When I go to see my cardiologist, the way the LPN takes my blood pressure it is always a normal or little high reading not at all like I get at home so I’m a little worried.

I'm almost always told mine is "slightly" low. Which has always struck me as odd as I admittedly don't lead the healthiest of lifestyles and have a family history of high BP. Kinda wonder now if it's just partially linked to inaccurate readings 🤔
