  • In this video I demonstrate how to put in eye drops correctly. This video is especially useful for anyone who has to instill eye drops on oneself without assistance. Putting in eye drops can be a challenge for anyone, but knowing the correct way of how to do it will make instilling eye drops much easier. In this video I explain the reasons for all the steps, as well as offer practical tips to make the process of instilling eye drops go more smoothly. The information in this video can also be referenced by nurses or healthcare professionals when giving discharge instructions to patients on how to put in eye drops correctly.

Sandra, Thanks for the insight to better eyesight. No more touching the eyeball with the bottle tip, and having a runaway of liquid down the face. I will take ownership of all the principles and make than a part of my eye health. I appreciate your practical wisdom and send you a hug for what you do for people you don't know. I call you blessed to be a continual blessing.

Great to see you back Sandra! I have very dry eyes. I use non preservative eye drops. Good information because I didn't know it was necessary to keep your eyes shut until the drops are absorbed. I use preservative free Systane or Refresh vials.

Hey Rob, thanks I’m finally getting back in to the swing of things this new year. ☺️ Ahhh I didn’t know about preservative free eye drops. I try to avoid preservatives as much as possible too. They are literally in every product it seems these days!

Thanks! Back when I used to use contacts, it took me about 45 minutes to put them in the first time lol
