WD-40 is great. I have been using it with removing glue from stickers on every thing from books (shiny covers only) to furniture. I follow it with rubbing alcohol to clean off the grease. However, do NOT use rubbing alcohol on any paint. Rubbing alcohol will REMOVE the paint or, at minimum, de-gloss it. Instead, use soap and water on the walls and doors to get the greasy residue off. Recently, i used coconut oil, instead and it worked just as well. But i haven't tried either on clothes. WD-40 is awesome on all squeaky hinges.
Hand sanitizer removes any kind of sticker, price stickers, gummy residue, etc. It also will make food color disappear from hands when combined with hand soap.
yes it would smell up your cloths and the washer and possibly the dryer too . You have to be careful because it is toxic , my husband is allergic to it. So if you get it in your washer and wash your baby’s cloths it could be harmful to their skin . Be careful ✌️☺️
Exactly. She's insane ,. She clearly has not experienced the toxic effects , and she's using it with no gloves. It's seeping into her body through her skin.. seriously , this is how you lose organ function. Primarily your thyroid. Then you are screwed
Very versatile tool to have around the house. It's almost sinful not to have WD40 in your home. I recommend a can under the kitchen sink, basement, car and garage. There are similar Brands that will do the same thing. Thanks once again for another great video well worth sharing. 😎
There are health warnings about WD-40 - The warnings, on the WD40 aerosol can, clearly state that it must be used in a ventilated area, and that breathing or inhaling the fumes directly could be harmful or fatal. I would be careful about using this product.
The reason they say inhaling the fumes directly could be harmful or fatal because people are using it to get high by "huffing". If you notice when you buy it they check ID because now you have to be 18 to buy it because it is being misused. I have asthma and have been using WD40 for years to clean with and lubricate mechanical objects and have never had an issue.
No just breathing it in regular is harmful. These companies have literally convinced ppl these products are not harmful to humans. But oh , they are .. you wonder why ppl end up sick .. from " harmless" chemicals
Since WD40 is made of petroleum is it safe to launder in washer & dryer??????? My washer & dryer have warning labels relative to NEVER use in either appliance, as it is combustible.
If you are only using it on small spots there shouldn't be a problem. The baking soda absorbs most of it. If your husband is mechanic and gets oil all over their clothes, this probably wouldn't be the best method anyway.

It also works in doorknob keyholes if the key doesn’t go in easily.
Heck, I have WD-40 in my vehicle as well! I love that stuff!

I just use liquid dish detergent, or a laundry additive, to remove the WD 40. Just rub it into the WD 40 once the original stain has broken up.

Why wouldn't you try the Dawn first? It's a degreaser on it's own.
It doesn't work. I have tried it on many oil stains on my clothes and the stain remains.

My husband uses wd40 on our stainless steel appliances and wipes it off with a microfiber cloth. It comes out sparkling clean

It’s been around forever. I use it for many things. I’m ok.

There are many less expensive products to use. And btw my Mom taught me this stuff when I was ten. You video your hand too much and it's distracting.
Hi, how do you remove the actual WD-40 oil stain from your clothes?
