I agree with you, it's a good video 😊. I like it because you show us a method that works and because it is a safe natural cleaner (vinegar) that won't hurt people or the earth. Very well done.
Once I cleaned an old toilet with toilet paper drenched in cleaning vinegar on the stains, and then packed the toilet in plastic, so the paper didn’t dry out. Left it there for some time, and repeated it. Ended up with a total clean toilet.
Paper towels are great for holding liquid. Did that to a bird deuce on my car, didn't have to scrub much after a long soak. Did make sure to rinse well, of course
I should have tried that first... instead, I poured most of a 5L bottle of white vinegar (€20 in my local ripoff hardware shop!!!) into an empty toilet bowl that probably only held half of that. The rest just ran into the drainpipe, thankfully without triggering the siphon effect. The limescale extends an inch or two above the waterline. I ended up lining the edges with kitchen roll which hopefully has wicked enough vinegar to soften the high limescale. Guess it's been ten minutes now so I'll check...
@@CleaningHowTo left it till morning and some of it came off, but it was *really* bad so it seems a few attempts will be needed. Luckily I found a cheaper place to get white vinegar since the local hardware shop is an absolute rip. The downside of vinegar is that it just runs off the sides, so above the waterline that trick with paper towels (or folded up jacks roll) is needed. There's probably some clever mixture you can make that turns it into a more viscous foam, but maybe also blows up the house.
