I had this too, and found it was from a lack of vitamins. Start taking a daily multivitamin and it will go away. I take 1-A-Day complete multivitamins for men, and it stopped. It's usually due to a B deficiency. Either way, you'll find this heals it. Good luck.

I suffered from years of anxiety (I am 34 yo) and actually came to the same conclusion by trying everything. I found out I was doing apnea (you can call it air hunger) prior and during anxiety phases. I think it is extremely common for mouth only breathers. I found out about breathing exercises that helped tremendously. No doctors told me about this. Very important to point it out :)

@@RōninNinno so you're just doing a bunch of control pauses? He doesn't really give any specifics on any exercise in this video

Great to hear you're doing better - what's the exercise you were doing, more or less? Just shallow breathing / being comfortable with mild air hunger, during the day?
      Thanks!

My air hunger actually keeps me up at night. When I go to lay down and I am having a bout with air hunger, it seems to hit me at night.

i suspect that this is a problem called „silent reflux“ combined with a tight diaphragm. silent reflux is in my opinion the result of over breathing for many month/years. the body becomes too alkaline. there is a „valve“ in your esophagus which shuts when your stomach acid is at the right PH(1-3).when this acid becomes to alkaline this valve cant close anymore and this causes the acid to splash in your esophagus, especially at night when you lay down.also when the esophagus is irritated trought the acid over a long period of time, the oxygen receptors in the esophagus are sending false signals to the brain. so u have to acidify the body with Apple cider vinegar before your meals. do not eat too late . aaand train your correct tongue posture with nose breathing. this is only a supposition. maybe you now have new ways try out to fix your problem 😊❤

I’m suffering horribly with this. All my tests came back good including the pulmonary doctor. I have extreme anxiety. Where do I get proper help for air hunger even if it’s anxiety related? Thanks 🙏

I’m at 28-34 seconds but I still experience air hunger. Been with multiple doctors visits and all tests come back normal. Any other tips for me? Also, I am not anxious at all when I feel air hunger just comes out of the blue.

there is something he did not mention in this vid. when your tongue posture isnt correct, then the breathing isnt effective enough even when you only breathe trough the nose. this poor tongue posture can be a result of your overall bad posture. go and search for „correct tongue posture nose breathing“. maybe this will fix your problem ☺️

Air hunger can be a symptom of this… BUT we are talking here about anxiety based air hunger. I always suggest as a first port of call to be checked medically first to eliminate medical issues like this. However when the doctor says, “you’re fine… it’s JUST anxiety” this is where the anxiety based air hunger help comes in.
