This really helping me. it’s true it’s whatever you think it’s true your body listens and makes it feel so real and I got ruled out by the doctor and said I was fine. I think for me is when I stress my body feels like it’s a threat and feel like I don’t get enough oxygen until I relax myself and muscles I feel better and I’m happy I’m not the only one going through this. We got it guys and remind yourself to relax and remember like hey I’m breathing fine! it’s all in my head.

Its been 3 months since i went to the ER for shortness of breath, dizziness, and heart palpitations. They were the first doctors to tell me i had anxiety, and i refused to believe them. Anyways, after 15+ medical tests, all that came out clear, i’ve finally accepted i have anxiety. Shortness of breath is actually the symptom i fear most, (my aunt died of lung disease) due to my aunt. Even on antidepressants all my physical symptoms went away except that one. But I run a mile, or so to prove i dont have SOB, and these lungs are heathy asf lol. To anyone reading this, sometimes you have to push yourself and tell yourself you are healthy, developing a logic behind. Like for me i told myself m, well if i had SOB then there is no way i can run a mile, and stuff. The mind is strong, be careful what you tell it because it will believe it.

I find this pandemic has made everyone worse. We need to remember that our symptoms are NOT unique. That every one of us are going thru this....and we're all alive.:) The symptoms come and go...I had anxiety for 19 yrs...just because I DIDNT KNOW HOW TO HANDLE IT. and than I saw shaans videos. And boom they went away for literally 3 yrs. And suddenly 2020 and stress and job loss and this stupid fear mongering covid bs....it's back.
But just because my nervous system is triggered from change and stress.

This is doesn’t happen often, but suddenly I wake up in the night gasping for air, feel like I’m not able to breathe anymore, after I open my eyes it’s fine and when I close and try to sleep BAAAMM again it happens, this is so scary because the first thing anyone’s mind goes to is heart issues or lungs. I checked my SPO2 it’s around 97-99% all the time. So there’s nothing to worry right ?

My sinuses get so dry and numb feel like I’m choking because of lack of air or because I can’t feel my nose is sinuses and lose my smell, it constantly makes me feel like I am not getting enough oxygen all day every day for the past 6 months straight. Now my sinuses feel dry swollen like they sting and burn, I think I might be allergic to alot of foods and my dogs since the panic attacks happen when I near them to long or eat certain things. The most annoying part is that when I sleep good for 2 days and clean my nose with salien and focuse on smells it all goes away for a few minutes every other week the lungs relax my nose feels okay it’s not dry or swollen, I can smell and breath normal and then I notice it and it all comes back, at this point I know dam well it’s my anxiety and I need to calm it down it’s making me feel real physical symptoms that will worsen my health. Does anyone feel these things as well

    • @TheWorldisALie007

Yes. I just had a bad one. You same as me. you have pannic that are triggered from real physical feelings that are not life threatening...it's scary it's real scary...other ppl can have a dry nose and just breathe thru their mouth and go on. But some of Cannot. I can tell you what not to do. Do NOT eat salty foods at all..will dry you out I the nose and throat areas ...Lay off dairy if you drink alot of milk or eat cheese. get a humidifier asap keep it on when you sleep or more often too. I am typing this just had a bad attack. Ppl like us amd others are super alert to all kinds of things.. Helps me to go out side I have to hear water running it helps me a lot...Buy peppermint tea have it hot and drink 2 or three cups.. it will cause your sinus to open in about 10 minutes or so ..I hope this help you. Feel free to Ask more of you like too...Back pepper in tea will cause your nose to water up also may not taste good bit it's a sure way to create open breathing and passages.God bless you n be with you.
