Im pretty sure the voice actor for the ravager is the same as ramattra. which i find oddly fitting because Ramattra is a type of omnic called Ravager

If you count all the other less narrative focused event gamemodes, they actually have a lot more than I realised (Yeti, Lucioball, Loverwatch, Concert Clash, Olympus)

@@HeyItsCres It would be cool, but I would hate it. It feels like the entire canonical story of Overwatch 1 and 2, from Recall to Present, has lasted 2 months in-universe. They need to give us WAY more before a Multiverse is justified.
But it would still be super cool.
I love that all the characters have canonically turned into hideous otherworldly monstrosities, but OW is still super understaffed so Sojourn is like "okay team, lets try not to be evil this time okay"

I believe Mei used to be an infinite seer but after the fall of the infinite empire Mei and other followers were searching for ways to rebuild the empire that's where she discovered the ravager and, like you said starpower, she broke free.
I'm probably in the minority but I'm actually pretty interested into the story/lore for this given the cosmic eldritch stuff, a continuation would be cool imo
I really appreciate Overwatch having AU events - even if I won't participate in this one. It really helps grow the characters' personality.

Sojourn said you can't defeat the ravager without backup and that could be a hint to a sequel, but given that they laid off most of the people who worked in this PvE, we might never get that sequel.
I feel that the Ravager lied to us. You don't really get any power after betrayal, especially if you play as a support 😂
I would like to drop the fact that if whoever is chosen DOESN'T answer the call, a Zenyatta and mccassidy ai will appear as the ship is repairing. (Meaning they both could have very well been tempted beforehand and are likely part of the "past" crew that was sent here). As well as one of the Cosmic Ravager's voice lines talks about the infinite, a faction in the overwatch comic universe. (As well as in the game) This means both of the seasons and battlepasses are connected. This means the other battlepasses might be connected to other ones!
I think season one had an Alien eyeball weapons charm, hinting to the cosmic crisis

Being the betrayer in hard is already 50% to win. I’ve played expert and god as soon as the betrayer appeared, winning as the survivors is impossible. It’s grateful that in my first try on expert no betrayal happened.
And I really want to say. I have played as the traitor once for the event challenge but it is on normal and I forgot. But I haven’t even done a thing they just dead by the robot and I get the challenge done with confusion and laughter

Honestly the concept of eldritch dilf bussy trying to call us into his prolapse and decend into him makes for a fun traitor machanic. I get that people hate losing because of a traitor but its iterally the point of the game mode. Im hoping for more from this i the future, istg i saw saw something about more parts at some point but i doubt it with the layoffs
So that's why it felt incomplete. The people working on it were laid off. Hopefully there's a part two or something cuz there just wasn't enough information or backstory to the Ravager. They could have gone a similar route with starwatch.
No, they finished. This is just the Overwatch pve team we’re talking about, they didn’t really have a lot to work with and most of them were already probably laid off, cool little event but they haven’t really cooked up anything that good(no fault of their own they probably could’ve used some time and manpower)
I think the LW is bades on "biblically accurate angels"

*For the people wondering on how to win as the Imposter:*
To win Hard, Expert and Lethal difficulty easily, you MUST be chosen as Moira. Not only she has a bigger chance to be chosen but also her coal is super powerful and can almost one shot the DPS characters lol
PS: Make sure you grab one of the batteries so, when you fall into the maw, the battery will be next to the maw and the good guys will have a bad time getting it! Just a tip I found! You're welcome!

@@jordandean507Funny. I’ve met a person completely your opposite. He jumped into the pit, thinking anyone can be betrayer. Repeatedly. Then asked why it didn’t work.
Kinda feel bad for this mode not getting the attention it deserves since everyone's focused on the new ranked. I really enjoyed the random aspect of choosing the imposter but I wish there was a special interaction if no one gave in (like the hero admitting they heard some voices but decided to stay) just so it would be a hint for other players what could happen in the mission. I feel like a lot of people might've played it, not gotten the imposter and thought that was all the mode had to offer.
This mode is for sure underrated

I´m most likely in the minority but I like how they introduce game-modes based of existing games like Magic & Mischief (Prop Hunt) and now Cosmic-Crisis (Among Us) as I never played those games but am interested if it´s in Overwatch. But even if I no one betrays the team it´s a fun little PvE-Mission for some change of pace and I´m a fan of that, too.

this mission felt so anti climactic the first time I played it, I didn't even know traitor was a thing till playing it again and again lol

Aren't TF2 halloween spawns an boss NPC? this gamemode clearly doesn't have any Boss NPC but traitor players.
Also last time i checked, when you beat the boss in TF2 you gained access to Hell dimension .
Maybe be more critical thinking instead of being an Awful Ass?
