This song is a ministry and is the cry of my heart. Listening to it has transformed my life. I thank God I can now see and understand with my heart. This song has set me apart for God and His Service. I am totally sold out to Him! My heart has been set ablaze with the fire of the Holy Spirit, that I may walk with Jesus. At some point it seemed to me I was listening to Psalm 23, because my Shepherd was refreshing me under the still waters, washing off me the cares of this world to be free to minister to Him!!! The eyes of my understanding have been opened. I can now see!!! Praise God, and Blessed be His Name Forever!!! Thank You for Producing a life changing, God transforming experience!!!
Just as this song was written about Lila”s life, it was definitely also written for me. See; we, the children of God are on this journey with the deep yearning to know Him, and every step we want Him more and more, and more and more of Him. We desire deeply to see Him beyond the veil. That veil gave access to the Holy of Holies, which no one except a purified priest could go in to minister to the Lord on behalf of the people, and now through the death and resurrection of our Lord gave us 24/7 access for all of the days of our life. The unction on the words of this song did just that. This song is like deep calling unto deep. The deep is where our heart breaks and realize that all of our efforts are futile without the Lord. This is a very well known principle, but to live it is another. Knowing about God is something, Knowing God is another; but experiencing God is the maximum expression of His love toward us, showing him our fully dependance on Him! I need The Lord, how I need Thee, every second of my life I need Thee. 1 Pet. 2:9 says “ But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out (from darkness into the glorious light of His Presence!) Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! Thank You Jesus!
What a beautiful song! Praise the Lord for singing this so beautifully ❤
