    True enough, my FSD is so polite that it is behaving the way I normally drive. I was returning home from L.A. I was going up on I-5 and then my car slowed down. I didn't know why then I notice the semi=truck had it's left blinker on. The truck move in front of me and then make a pass and I eventually passed him. So cool and that's just one of many V12 that is so polite.

    Please thank your Dad for making a shout out to us poor RHD markets, Australia and UK. I also hope FSD makes its way to use down under soon. As a consolation prize, we do have a CyberTruck in the country, I’m super excited to go check it out in a Tesla showroom while it is here (for a month).

    Question: Do you always drive under "assertive" mode? And do you turn on automatic speed limit offset or you set a number/percentage yourself? My experience is if I turn on the automatic offset, sometimes it drives way too fast (like 48 mph in a 40 mph zone); but if I set it myself (like 8% over the speed limit), sometimes it drops way too slow (I've had it drop to around 35 on a local street where everybody drives at 45+ and 55 on the highway where everybody continues at 65+, and I don't recall seeing a speed limit sign change so I have no idea why it "saw" a speed limit sign change). Also, my 2024 model Y kind of ping-pongs within its lane on the highway, is it normal or should I have the camera recalibrated? Final question: does FSD perform the same across US or does it perform the best in CA?

  • @corresandberg
    @corresandberg หลายเดือนก่อน

    Awesome video ❤ In Sweden 🇸🇪, I think in many other countries too we lose our license if we drive for instance 30km/h to fast. Also an incentive to drive in legal speeds.

    One of the biggest things that should stand out to the people that want to continue to harp on Tesla, is the entire month of April has had free FSD for ALL Tesla cars that are capable of the tech. That is more than likely a HUGE number of new FSD cars being tested/used during the course of the month than usual, and yet, outside of a few early curb rubbing, there has not been an increase in Tesla related Crashes, Pedestrian accidents, etc. All of the people trying to get FSD banned always had to try and cheat and lie to make it look unsafe, where in reality its exactly the opposite. Is it Perfect? No not yet. But it is getting really dang close.
    Still working to get my own, but of the ones I have ridden in, the urge to get one only increases every time.

  • @Patriot3
    @Patriot3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I just drove it 50 miles, and it's decent. Freeway is excellent on average, and ten over, it works right through traffic like a rockstar. AI driven speed limit control is terrible. If we had the last 11V speed control, I would be super happy.
    Tonight was the best exit off the freeway it's done. It seems to be tracking the lines more for staying centered. This last update I found it wondering into forks and left lane turns.
    It won't be long before I start riding from the passenger seat.

    I tried Summon today and feel it's presently unusable. It just took forever and never did get to me.
    I then did tried Auto Park and got jammed into a tight spot in my garage....not cool. Seems parking lots are the easiest and best use of Auto Park at present.
    Anyway, 30 days up tomorrow and I subscribed for a month. I'll cancel before 30 days so I don't get charged another month. I just need more time with it to evaluate.
    Got an update today and went from version 12.3.4 to 12.3.6. Getting that update today influenced me enough to subscribe.
    NOTE:
    If this was still $199, I wouldn't have subscribed.
    QUESTION:
    I mentioned a few years ago that charging this much for FSD is a real problem for some people and charging money to make people safer is a can of worms that hasn't been addressed.
    When are we going to read a headline about a family killed in a crash because FSD software hadn't been renewed? Family financial difficulties making it impractical.

    I’m a big fan of FSD. Can’t afford it yet, but I plan on buying it. With that said there are still big issues. Why do I keep seeing these successful drives on TH-cam but we’re not having successful drives with our 2023 hardware four model Y
    We had major issues just trying to get from
    13533 Seal Beach Blvd
    Seal Beach, CA 90740
    United States
    To
    14305 Firestone Blvd
    La Mirada, CA 90638
    United States
    Demonstrate that you have a successful drive. One major failure was, it failed to do the interchange from 405 south. To the 22 E It then rerouted got off. the next exit we had to take over after it could not figure it out after getting in the wrong lane. Another time it was 1.8 miles away from getting off seal Beach Boulevard and I decided to get into the left lane. We are having major planning issues that were seen. It fails to plan ahead.

    • @Zripas

    Keeping tabs...
    Tesla fail: not creeping up to community gate to get it to open
    Tesla fail: didn't recorgnize stopped car without brake light, it was parked. It should have seen there are no cars in front of it as well, or possibly driven in mid between lanes for a few seconds (not giving up either lane) to make sure it's parked and not stopped.
    Tesla fail: didn't slow down for dip in road as going into parking lot
    Tesla fail: too close to large/protruding cars in parking lot. Had no cars around so no reason for it...
    Tesla fail: doesn't go straight to open gate, then jerks at last moment

    I don’t understand why your cars don’t nag you seemingly at all. I rented a 2021 Model Y last weekend to experiment with FSD and it nagged me almost constantly to “apply turning force”.
