Yeah, there is a bug with that. You need to set the amount of radius manually with your mouse and move the bar (don't set the amount with your keyboard). As you can see in this video after I set the amount with my keyboard, I moved the bar. 1:50 Hope that fix your problem
Thanks for the tuto ! But I have a problem, when I run the simulation, there is a space between the modeling and the snow, a few centimeters. Do you know why ? And how can I fix it please ?
Thank you, yeah I know that problem. select the "nRigid" from the outliner and in its attribute from the "Collisions" tab set the amount for the "Thickness" to 0. It should solve your problem 01:01
Hi, it could be because of your scene scale. Try to change your unit from the Preferences/settings and scale your scene or you need to check "Dynamics" from the "Show" panel. Let me know of that solved your issue
Which emit section? Do you mean the emitter tab? You need to select the emitter from the outliner, or if it's another thing could you please mention the time so I can understand the issue
Thanks so much. Ive been looking for so long for a way to have snow particles build up on text. there is a lot of info such a short vid
Thank you. Happy to hear that. I hope it will be useful for you
N I love the little scene, I assume you created.
Yeah, thanks a lot :)
As soon as I created the particle polygon, the snow was not visible and the radius was also not working.

@@piccopoly yes emitter tab sorry for the confusion
@@katrinatisa8175 Just select the "emitter1" from the outliner and open its attribute (Ctrl+a). it should be there
radius of the snow is so big after I convert it to polygons. and changing the radius controls the density of the snow not the radius of the snow
my snow becomes so thick
@@SurajBisht-og3xd Hey man, I think your scene is small. you probably need to change the scene unit to meter and scale up your scene.
