    I absolutely love this IEM because of how musical and relaxing it is. It's got the right amount of bass, pretty technical, but yet it's something I grab when I want to relax at the end of the day. Even metal sounds musical with it. The P8 effectively replaced my Tea 2, because it gave me similar vibes but with much more comfort and technical performance. I pretty much sold everything except for this and my IE600, which is what I go for when I want more oomph or even more technicality.

      Spot on! I now use this and the Penon Fan2 - lushly grand musical. They are the two main IEMs in circulation right now. P8s with better sub -bass and Fan2 with lovely mid-bass that coats that mids rather sweetly , just to my taste. P8's more treble-rich and sparky without harshness, Fan2''s treble is smoother. Basically, both complement each other well.

    Great review, Mark. I have a P5 and I love that set. I got to listen to P8 at CanJam and it was really nice as well. I guess I am an AFUL fan.

    Tonality wise how does it compare to the Performer 5? Based on what you hear.

  • @Delbs1

    How do you compare the fit from the Performer 8 to Kiwi Ear's Orchestra Lite? I find the Orchestra is too big, and the unvented design isolates too much the sound to my liking :/

    • @SuperReview
      @SuperReview  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Performer 8 is vented, so it won't have that same issue. Size wise it's pretty similar.

    Quick question
    I tried the blessing 3 and found the bass lacking and couldn't turn the volume up without the vocals being shouty
    Do you think I will jave a better experience with the S8 or Variations?
    Thanks

    • @sto-humanfriendly
      @sto-humanfriendly ปีที่แล้ว +2

      s8 is shouty too
      variations is even shoutier in a way due to having reduced upper mass to balance the treble out

    • @SuperReview

    so I have the orchestra lites, but want just a little more bass ( slighty more rumble) and maybe a small bump in treble ( cymbals lack some definition in my opinion) and sound far back or get lost in the mix especially in metal and more busy tracks. im okay with the sound mostly and love them for being good sounding in just about every song i listen to. I heard theses might be what im looking for, or would something else be like an "upgrade to the orchestra lite in bass and treble" honestly I want just a little more bass and treble but a similar signature to the orchestra. anyone has any suggestions?
