Yea I was not happy when realised the pulley wasn't gonna be possible to replace the alternator ain't cheap but save money by fixing it before it goes as when that pulley gives out while driving it can damage alot of components on the engine.

Great video, you should also insulate the positive battery terminal

Thanks for the tip but what do you mean the wires are all insulated only exposed parts are the fuse box that comes standard on my model.

How did you hold the alternator to stop it turning while you removed the pulley?

Don't need to with a impact wrench (rattle gun) the tool works it off itself hence why you need the tool to be able to do it

@@jamieleem229 no worries yea some brands you can lock the centre shaft with a tool insert but but that bosh alternator manufacturers of the alternator doesn't't have that ability so it's rattle gun only

My clutch pulley explode while im on the highway. Rubber belt got cutted in half.
Almost die because of that. If you notice some day a sound similar to a bird chipper may be that pulley. So be careful.

yep, that's why I was acting fast to fix it. You can see how close I got to the same thing happening when I got the pulley off. In the end, that's why I had to change the whole alternator as the shaft was too far gone for repair.
