I tried to just get to know her at first and not rush toward a relationship, only this time I went a bit too slow and by the time I was ready to make a move she'd started dating another guy. I thought it wouldn't last so I tried to be the "other man", but only ended up getting hurt. Now 13 years later I'm in the hauntingly same situation, interested in a girl I met at work, she's let slip that she isn't happy with her current bf of several years, but I don't want to fall into the waiting trap again so I'm just trying to put her behind me and move on.
