    I'm always amazed on how they can push their limits further and further with every movie they create. Its like a rock band when you think their latest album is the best and alway will be, until they come out with a new. Pixar is unbeatable.

    Pixar uses its own proprietary software called Marionette, built and maintained in-house.

    It's never about the software they use or the hardware but about the precision, care and techniques that Pixar up hold and follow that makes their films so brilliant. No matter what method of animation, they still keep to the principles and process... awesome can't wait to be as good as them at animating.

    You gotta love that "Pixar Story Board+" :-) Talk about going into layout and 3d animation well informed.

    software....nevermind that! who are those ARTISTS? Animation is about people, people. And its pretty awesome seeing Mr. Andrews looking like a crazy person with his lovely locks. btw big ups to all the dudes that developed the software.

    Believe, it's not boring at all... There are a lot of steps involved, and each and every single one is fun... From the rough animation to the cleanup stage (when it's traditional animation). :)

    I was wondering, do 3d modelers look up topology examples if there having an issue with modeling something? curious if you had an issue on modeling something. I mean if it's woodworking or something do you have access to the internet to look up images and so on? I take it, 3d modelers, probably don't get all profile reference views of their project? is there only 3d modeling jobs or do you have to have another skill as well?
    Also, are you allowed to take your work home? maybe do it on blender at home than export it to say an obj file or Maya file etc?

  • @suziesshorts
    @suziesshorts 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    It's amazing that they can just sketch something in an instant. I'd take forever just to make a simple rough animation right there.

      well you can star with simple shapes first then add the details for example if you draw a man don't start with the eyes start with a circle then make an eye

    In this was (no particular order): Maya, Marionette, Photoshop, and their other proprietary software for storyboard creation and editing.

  • @blenderCGartist

    pixar selves tell in theyr job requirements that they dont care what software an artist uses but its about the artist. so to all people struggling with maya, you can use a different programm!
