The nostalgia hits hard with this. Just something so cosy about these post Christmas shows. Sitting up late with a drink or two, fire on, quality street tin open watching Barry Norman complain about the years offerings. Just his voice unearths happy memories....
Thanks for these uploads, if you have 94 that would be great to see. It is a monumental shame that the BBC can't find 30 minutes in its schedule on any channel to cater for film fans. Cinema is dying out and the BBC is showing a complete disdain to one of the more popular artforms. The Kermode and Mayo film show has now left the BBC and Kermode's 15 min section on the BBC News channel each week has also been axed. You would have thought there was 30 mins on say BBC 4 once a week would be available, put it at midnight it doesn't matter. If they're struggling for a host, I'll do it, for not very much money either.
Yes it’s a shame there’s not a review programme right now. You’d think it’d be relatively cheap to make. One or two people chatting between clips is all it needs. Celebs can be interviewed on Zoom. TH-camrs manage it.
22:39 As nice as it was to see Braveheart in this Top 10, I did wish that he had defended it more at the 97 and 98 Oscars when David Ansen and Amanda Donahue didn't have good things to say about it
I hope some parts of the audio should be reinstalled in a special edition version of this video in spite of copyright restrictions unless we have work together to set up anti-restrictions video sharing site if that'll be nice!!!
Hello! Yes I do and I’m planning to upload them when I can. I’m not sure when, yet, because real life is keeping me busy. Ensure you’re subscribed and the bell ticketed for all notifications. Is that your cat in your image? It’s very cute!
@@kevincooper1982 As I remember - for 1996 - he had Se7en as his his No. 10 choice for that year, and used the clip of the chase between Brad Pitt and Kevin Spacey for that film.
Thanks for uploading these!
I bet that was no coincidence to have Tom Cruise come up straight after what Branagh said about actors in the interview segment 😆

The best year for movies ever.A lot of people say 1939 not me 1994 is the one.
1982 is often cited as a golden year. The mid 90s was great too.

16:43 JUDGE DREDDFUL BAWHAHAHA 😂🤣😅 what a way to state the obvious of a movie
Do you have the end of year shows for 1996 and 1997 as well?

@@vhs_videohomesystem Okay. Thank you for the reply.
Look forward to Film96 being uploaded to see if Bazza has Se7en as one of his films of that year
