I will partially defend OP because that is *originally* what happened. This guy noticed crops were being pulled off his plant and left half-eaten around the yard, and set up a motion camera to catch the culprit.
However, he did build a separate garden for Chunk soon after.

That Spurlock con artist was heavily drinking DURING his 30 days of just McDonalds and lying about it to the doctor. He was a real gem.
I'll never get over that scene where the doctor is like "I've never seen liver damage like this outside of severe alcoholics" and he goes "wow, I can't believe McDonald's damaged my liver like that"

It's nuts that in retrospect McDonalds ended up looking the hero in that since he was gorging himself on 10k calories a day and was already insanely unhealthy before that and was like "McDonalds is killing me"

That Hawaii post reminds me of a Road Trip my family and I had when I was like 10-11 from Miami to LA, along all the southern states, up to the 4 state area, and through Vegas. I don't remember where exactly (I am not from the US), but along the way, we came across an Indian Reserve, and we saw a big gathering, with a lot of dancers and food being grilled. We stopped, thinking it was a public festival, since the gate was opened... Turns out, the last person to enter forgot to latch on the gate... We were the only non-native-american there... and it was one of their most sacred religious ceremonies, in honor of 6 of their youth about to be shipped to Iraq... But because we weren't obnoxious and very apologetic about the misunderstanding, the chief told us that our presence must have been a sign of something, and invited us to eat and meet the 6 Soldiers. And I knew, even back then he was the chief, 'cause who else walks around with an interpreter... It was a great honor, even for young me, so I can't imagine how my parents felt. while normal bottled and tap water is okay to drink, that's because it already has minerals in it, as does water in the springs and literally almost everywhere. Distilled or deionized water is also fine to drink, but it lacking minerals is actually worse for you than drinking say water from a spring.
Even more added context: Distilled water is actually the most hydrating water (almost no difference though), but the lack of minerals make it completely tasteless. It is worth noting that distilled water is not completely pure, and ultrapure water is quite unhealthy to drink, and can also cause skin damage due to osmosis
@@nopeno-s5r More added context: The osmosis part only takes effect if you drink amounts where you would have water poisoning anyways and you would also get water poisoning if you were to drink that amount of mineralized water.
The distilled water is re-mineralized the moment it enters your intestines. Your body might loose trace minerals and if only drinking distilled water, you might get deficiencies but actually harming yourself with it, without getting water poisoning first is impossible by simply drinking it.

2:22 the amount of people who don’t know how basic math works makes me realize why so many people claim math isn’t useful
As far as I've been able to understand there are schools where the rules of precedence are not taught. (I suppose they are located in the USA.) Students there get taught to always evaluate from left to right, and if they want to break this rule they must use brackets. Some time ago I had a discussion with some commenters from some thread where they claimed that "today, more and more schools teach Maths like this". (I don't know whether this is true, of course.) The origin of the thread was that I saw a lot of basic calculations with incredibly many unneccessary brackets in the video and asked why they were used. I was dissed quite a lot for suggesting that it doesn't make sense to teach young children one way of evaluating calculations only for them to have to re-learn it when they go to university.
So maybe OP has never learnt about precedence of operators.
@@mquietsch6736 even then though order of operations is a fairly basic skill that is taught in most elementary schools. They expand on it later, but most people know the basic brackets first, multiplication and division second, addition and subtraction third. (There’s more but that’s the very basic understanding of it)
@@Adever12 I do hope so 🙂. I must say I was a bit taken aback after that thread.
See, here’s the thing: math is useful.. up until about algebra two, or late into algebra one, then it’s just more unnecessary shit I’m never gonna use.
@@3RR0RNULL Not being American, I've no idea what algebra one or algebra two are, but I dunno whether a student in school already knows what's gonna happen to him in his whole adult life, so how you already decide you never gonna use that shit? Like, your life is pre-destined? Or is it more "yeah I'll spend my whole life stocking shelves and that's all right with me"? Or is it "I'm a lazy shit and don't want to use my brain cuz it hurts"? Or is it "I'm too dumb to realize something that seems useless to me now may turn out to be useful in ten years' time"? Hey, I taught freshmen students elementary math and they already asked "I only wanna become a teacher, why do I need to learn that stuff?" during the first term, when we really did stuff that is being taught in high schools, so it was very relevant to them. So I got this niggling suspicion, you know, that most times when someone says "I'm not gonna need it anyways" they really mean "I'm too f**ing lazy to make an effort".

Fun fact: Oxenstierna is not just any "strange" family name, it's literally a noble family name and is part of the ancient nobility of Sweden.
And due to surname laws here in Sweden there's restrictions on who may take a noble surname means Daisy's parents either have it as surname (and thus by default it became her surname too) or she has a relative in direct line who had it as a surname no further than four generations back.
Being an Oxenstierna means she's a descendant of an important figure in Sweden's history: Lord High Chancellor Axel Oxenstierna
Do note that the right to grant nobility was abolished in 1974, and the last person to be ennobled in Sweden was in 1902. Any of noble descent does not hold any special privileges in present day

For that one tweet about two women having a baby but it always being a girl-that one's actually true! @jacquelinewarner-smith1770
I understand what you're referring to and your comment just reminded me of the fact that there are certain species of Whiptail Lizards that are all female and yet they are able to reproduce.
Now, I forget the exact science behind it, but I do recall that it has something to do with the way that their DNA has evolved to carry both sets of chromosomes, and durin g mating season, one female lizard will mount another to stimulate egg production and the "top" female is able to fertilize her eggs.
I think this process and their existence is truly fascinating and you can check it out for yourself. The video I saw was narrated by the great Sir David Attenborough from BBC Earth. Highly recommend!
P.S. - The ability for a species to mate without a partner is called parthenogenesis, and it only occurs with females. It's been documented in both the Whiptail Lizards and the Morning geckos and several species of insects as well.
The morning geckos are truly astonishing in the fact that they are creating clones. They simply lay their eggs, and they hatch out as little baby clones of their mothers. No need for fertilization and no need to even perform the act of "mating" like in the case of the Whiptail Lizards. It's just go lay your eggs someplace safe, wait for them to hatch and volia that's it, all done! The next generation has arrived!

While i don’t believe the process has ever taken place, microbiologist Karim Nayernia suggests that its possible for the stem cells within a women’s bone marrow to be transformed into a viable sperm cell that would allow for insemination and a viable offspring. This child would be genetically related to both of the female parents, and due to women having XX chromosome, the child would always result in a female.
Other biologists argue that the resulting sperm would be unable to produce a viable offspring, but the validity of either claim remains undecided.

For whatever reason, Disney keeps calling the Lion King remake a live action movie rather than photorealistic animated movie...
Because there are people who just fucking hate animation and the only way to get them to watch a movie is if you make it or market it as live action. It's sad, but apparently, this is somehow profitable.

There are a lot of stuff you can use to clean fruits and vegetables in "risky" areas: baking soda, vinegar, lemon juice and even bleach (diluted of course). You just have to rinse the products thoroughly with water afterwards.
all the water posts are technically true. Pure water is not isotonic to cells, meaning it's not a perfect hydrator, and adding some minerals and electrolytes help with absorption. While rare, it's possible to develop hyponatremia, or water toxicity, from drinking large quantities of purified H2O. Saying it doesn't hydrate at all is false though, it's just not a perfect hydrator.

I am not a mathematician but the reason the whole 50 + 50 x 2 = 150 happens by many is because they keep doing the math from left to right. Your not suppose to do that in that circumstance, your only suppose to do that if the math consists of only Multiplication and Division or, Addition and Subtraction. If you do a problem that has any combination of the 4 then PEMDAS's Order overrides the left to right order and you do Parentheses, then Exponents, Multiplication, and Division (From left to right), then ending with Addition and Subtraction (From left to right) if I recall correctly. Turning 50 + 50 x 2 into 2 steps
50 x 2 = 100 then 100 + 50 = 150.
Now they are right if you do 50 + 50 then multiply it by 2 which then gets 200 but then your writing the problem out wrong if your doing it like that then its actually (50 + 50) x 2 or (50+50)2. Because Parentheses are treated as a separate problem with its own order in the question and are done first in the order of the operations where math is concerned. Its basically saying the addition is done first as its own problem by putting it under Parentheses.

7:33 you do need minerals and electrolytes to feel hydrated, plain water also have those, distilled water (water that was treated to remove impurities) will go trough your body too quickly to be properly absorbed and could remove the minerals from your muscles and blood causing dehydration, distilled water can cause water poisoning faster than plain water
"Water is water"
True. But if you drink pure water only you'll have a bad time when your bones dissolve!
The water one drives me insane. Hydration literally is the amount of water in your cells. Dehydration is when you don't have enough water in your cells. You need salts to prevent H2O toxicity, in which you don't have enough salts in your blood and cells to maintain an isotonic solution in your bloodstream, which results in your cells either exploding (in the case of too much water and not enough salt), or shrivelling (in the case of too much salt). That's why drinking ocean water is bad for you. It contains so much salt (see: electrolytes) that it pulls the water from your cells causing them to shrivel and lyse. As a side note: MOST of your non-h2o liquids come from the foods you eat, such as meat, vegetables, and fruits. Which (unless you are working out excessively) generally provide enough salt to maintain homeostasis in your blood.

well ok two women can have a baby if one of them is trans but that definitively doesn't guarantee a female child either
You may not require electrolytes for hydration, but you sure as hell need them. If you drink too much plain water without eating anything salty or drinking something like Gatorade, you get an electrolyte imbalance in your body. (Water has some electrolytes but nowhere near as much as your body requires) This can cause muscle spasms, headaches, nausea, vomiting, confusion, even seizures. So when you're working in the hot sun, sweating, and aren't eating or drinking much, make sure you drink things like sports drinks to get those electrolytes up.
yeah. i heard of a case where a radio show did a challenge to see who could drink the most amount of water and one of the participants literally died from electrolyte imbalances. nurses were calling in pleading to give the woman a bag of chips or something but they didnt
@@L83467 you're more likely to die of swollen brainstem if you participate in a water drinking challenge, than from any electrolyte imbalance. electrolyte imbalance only becomes a deadly problem if you're losing significant amounts of water, for example from chronic diarrhea, as one does during cholera. what actually happens if you drink too much water, salty or not, is that your cells start expanding because the water starts entering them through osmosis from the blood stream. this is not a problem when it's, say, your finger, but it is a problem when it's your brain, which is stuck in a very much not expandable skull. in other words, your brain expands and crushes itself against the walls of its own container. doesn't have anything to do with electrolytes.
2:20 This guy really didn’t need to get noted. People often forget about “PEMDAS”. Multiplication before Addition.
(I also got confused at first XD)
He got noted precisely *because* he forgot PEMDAS. Or just never learned it to begin with.
Multiplication in a problem is solved before addition. As such, the 50 is multiplied by 2 before being added to the other 50, making 150.
I like to pretend Community Notes is just one really smart and witty guy
The buff lady one reminds me of how somebody claimed that liking tomboys is gay. Men liking women is gay now I guess.
