4:50 sometimes a lot of junk and dirt can get stuck in the charging port preventing the cable to get in all the way and be unstable. So if this happens you could just try cleaning it out carefully. It has worked for me once.
3:30 This is my pet peeve, you don’t need to love yourself before someone else can love you. You need to be okay being alone and not accept bad treatment because you’re just happy someone accepts you, but when you find the right person that loves you and you love them, genuine love from someone else isn’t dependent on you loving yourself. Everyone has insecurities, where does the line go? When you rate yourself 8/10 do you love yourself enough for someone else to love you? Nah, that’s not enough, you need to *love* yourself, when you think you’re 10/10 with no flaws that’s when someone else can love you.
The like goes when you can look yourself in the eyes and say that you deserve to be with your partner. If you don't have the self esteem to think of yourself as valuable enough to be with your partner, the relationship is unequal by default and places pressure on your partner to convince *you* you're worthy of their love. That's unfair to everyone involved.
I cannot read a standard analog clock but that's because dyslexia makes me move things around, but if I have one in front of me that moves counterclockwise instead of clockwise, I can actually read it perfectly fine. And it freaks people out
12:32 It literally IS rigged BS though. Just take a look at Nathan Barnatt, or rather the stage name he used, and also one of his alternate personas, Kieth Apicary. He revealed after being eliminated in the second round that they forced him to change his act and make it worse because his agent essentially told him not to sign their contracts to continue, as doing so would ruin his online career by giving them MASSIVE controlling rights over everything he posts. I’m willing to bet it’s happened to several others too. I always thought Courtney Hadwin’s performances degraded after the first, but even I was BAFFLED to see a 7th place ranking against Shin Lim, the worlds’ most mediocre magician who spends half the trick looking at the camera with a pretend shocked expression like he’s trying to upsell the amazement of using slight of hand to make a card disappear for the tenth time in a row. Point is, the ones with the best chances are the ones most willing to sell out, because the show choreographs the better acts for you than the reluctant ones. It’s a load of complete BS.
4:11 they’re missing parts of their brain as a result of a stroke, I would say that disproves the fact Reddit is feeding in their brains, but excessive Reddit use probably caused a stroke
5:27 I can confirm I have a lot of classmates that for some reason don't know how to read the clock (I feel like people is getting more stupid as time goes on)
5:24 okay but like, they also literally don’t teach us in school anymore? I remember spending one or two days on it in 2nd grade then just moving on to counting nickels and dimes. And my family doesn’t keep any in the house because there’s so many digital clocks all around. The microwave, the oven, the computers, the tv, the phone, they ALL have clocks. Like as much as i blame my lack of knowledge on that area on myself, I can’t help but feel like it’s not just the children getting lazy.
instead of giving children a chance to learn it, they removed it it is almost same as cutting all low braches off of low trees and bushes near schools and kindergardens so they don't get hurt BUT CHILDREN END UP NOT KNOWING HOW TO CLIMB A TREE AT ALL BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOWHERE TO DO IT. The last thing applies to children living mainly in 5 + floors apartment buildings in residential areas or in flat building suburban areas where there are mainly high trees but not to villages and small housing areas with homes very close to low branch trees and forests
If your charging port only works at certain angles, get a rubber band and wrap it around your phone from one corner to the opposite. Then plug in the charger and wrap the charger around one of the charger corners so that it pulls it tight and it should work
16:08 Music nerd here! While Toby did use FL studio, most of the soundtrack wasn't composed using default synths. For the vast majority, he actually used something called soundfonts, which are 3rd party packs of sounds taken from... well, it could be anything. Toby used soundfonts such as the Earthbound SF or SGM
4:53 First check if it's the charger itself, in case the wiring has degraded over time and broken down inside the casing. If that doesn't work, check the charging port and chargers for dirt. The ports are notorious for getting packed with lint and dirt from going in and out of pockets. If it's dirty, you may be able to buy a cleaning set, but if ya know someone or somewhere that can clean the ports, get it to em, then get a case with a port cover to reduce the need for cleanouts. If all else fails, then get a maintenance check on it. My phone company's it guy in the store told me my issue was dirt and hooked me up with a locla who fixes and cleans tech for a living, saved me HUNDREDS of dollars.
5:11 One day in first grade my teacher told us that today was going to be the day we learned to read an analog clock. However, she went over a "lesson" about how the digital age is coming and we didn't need to learn it anymore. Anyways long story short I had to learn myself how to read an analog clock but it still takes me about 30 seconds to figure out what it's actually saying.
13:17 it's not uncommon to pay more if your hair is expected to be longer or need more attention than shaving it with a razor and so barbers expect more payment. Even a short haired women's haircut costs more then a men's haircut ever will.
I don’t know if this is the case but if I had to guess I’d say the clock thing is less about the fact it’s an analog clock and more about the size - in a large exam hall it may be too small to read, whereas a digital clock can be projected onto a wall etc in a large size.
4:38 Oh, My laptop's charger has been like that for nearly a year now. I had to twist the cable in odd angles, tape the cables together as to not move them, and it is set on a specific spot as to not make it lose it spot. It still works quite well!
It is! The left road goes down to Grassmarket and the right one goes back up to the Royal Mile. Fun fact: the pub on that corner (The Elephant) was allegedly the place where J. K. Rowling wrote the first Harry Potter book.
I had a bunch of 12 year olds come in my work and ask the time. I point to the clock. One kid confidently says "i know how to do this!" To his friends and confidently gets it wrong.
the difference between a digital then an analog is that an analog makes you think theres still a lot of time left while a digital gives me stress and anxiety
I've heard North and South referred to collectively as "America" Also, Oceania is frequently referred to as Australia (I am aware that Oceania is more accurate but Australia is still accepted)
The analogue clock thing is probably true. Had a younger co-worker ask me constantly what time it was, one time I went "there's a clock on the wall" and was quickly told they had no idea how to read it. Do they not teach that in school anymore? Do kids not understand "clockwise" and "counterclockwise" rotation?
if your phone is having trouble connecting to a charger, double-check to make sure there's no lint build-up in your charging port. i had an issue a few years ago where my phone was only charging with my Nintendo switch charger (bc it's the most quality usb-c i had at the time ig) and at one point i checked the port and oh my GOD it was the Festival of Dustbunnies in there. carefully cleaned that ish with a deft hand and a sewing needle (don't touch the sides if you do that) and it worked with every usb-c i tried it with afterward 😅
Also I am a millenial so reading analogs is of no consequences however analogs have a major issue called "perspective". When there are times where you need to be precise and you can misread the time due to your perspective and also it's pain to get a precise minute reading on them. Some of them lack the required lines for minutes after all and at times, 12:15 and 12:16 can make big difference. So digital clocks that also display seconds should be the way to go.
5:30 they could be refering to analogue clocks with roman numbers too. i'd get why they couldn't understand those since i know education in the US is a bit of a mess. we need to stoop sayign that "things are worse now with the youth" they really aren't -_-
They should be able to tell where the numbers would be though. If you can’t read a Roman analogue clock you have nearly no sense of where things should be.
Schools have been covering or removing posters in the building during testing so students can't cheat. That makes sense right? Well they're also required to cover inspirational posters even if no subject is mentioned on it. That makes no sense to me. I guess they don't even want kids to be inspired by the subjects they are learning now.

5:18 My school still has the analogue clocks. They decided to add the seconds (1h = 5s -> 6h = 30s so on and so forth) on the outside with fun big stickers, both for aesthetic and for use!
8:43 this is exactly the tone of the comment 😂😂😂
1:51 The commitment tho is incredible!
The bit from 8:37-8:47, with both th image and the voiceover, is absolutely flawless. 10/10
5:32 *HI EVERYBODY! I’m a Musician. Here’s a Tip: If you listen to a song on TH-cam with your chrome browser, push the power button once to close your screen 5 Seconds after the video is playing, push the power button again to display your screen, you will see Chrome still on and controllable with your Lock Screen. You can listen to anything without unlocking your device. If you have auto play enabled on a playlist, you can listen to the whole playlist. For higher quality, watch the video on Desktop Mode and toggle the quality of the video before you close your screen. Do not stop the video before you close your screen, just wait at least 5 Seconds before you do so to trigger the controls on your Lock Screen.*

@@CeilingCatMSMprobably not, but writing a comment in all bold doesn't look good
been doing this but its not that difficult, you can just tab out of google chrome back to your home screen, then swipe the top right so it pops up the little music player menu, and then click the play button. gotta be quick though or else it disappears and is replaced by "not playing"

That is also an indication of possible brain damage, and a causative factor of further brain damage, which also explains a lot.
They’re redditors, which means their brains have been damaged
So there IS actual brain rot. [4:22]

10:11 i think its time I start learning how to draw
If you're actually going through with this hopefully your commissions don't get too weird

5:40 I could play music on a YT app and close it a long time ago.

16:19 those commercials were memorable but not effective because John Hodgeman was more likable than Justin Long
5:24 okay but like, they also literally don’t teach us in school anymore? I remember spending one or two days on it in 2nd grade then just moving on to counting nickels and dimes. And my family doesn’t keep any in the house because there’s so many digital clocks all around. The microwave, the oven, the computers, the tv, the phone, they ALL have clocks. Like as much as i blame my lack of knowledge on that area on myself, I can’t help but feel like it’s not just the children getting lazy.
instead of giving children a chance to learn it, they removed it
it is almost same as cutting all low braches off of low trees and bushes near schools and kindergardens so they don't get hurt BUT CHILDREN END UP NOT KNOWING HOW TO CLIMB A TREE AT ALL BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOWHERE TO DO IT.
Then plug in the charger and wrap the charger around one of the charger corners so that it pulls it tight and it should work
5:19 it’s actually just that they can tell the time better with digital clocks and they’re becoming more affordable. Everybody knows how a clock works

0:10 Man, people are going to be real disappointed if they even find out that it isn't even close, unlike the dutch one which is completely accurate.
I swear 12:00 is a picture of Edinburgh
It is! The left road goes down to Grassmarket and the right one goes back up to the Royal Mile. Fun fact: the pub on that corner (The Elephant) was allegedly the place where J. K. Rowling wrote the first Harry Potter book.
@conspicuouspigeons as someone who's been to Scotland twice, I'm very proud of myself for that :3c
The pub on the left is Greyfriars Bobby (first thing I noticed was the pub and pizza place 😅)
Yo, if you ask my dog, he'll tell you it's his birthday, no matter what day it is. He's a lyin bastard😂
What? North America, South America, Africa, Oceania, Antarctica, Asia, and Europe.
I've heard North and South referred to collectively as "America"
Also, Oceania is frequently referred to as Australia (I am aware that Oceania is more accurate but Australia is still accepted)
@@AnythingButBecky1127 Fair point. I still disagree with the idea that all continents but Europe start with A
@flub3821 yeah fair enough
North America and Europe's continental plates are stretched thin but not disconnected yet
English: "Teehee I'm Europe and wanna be different - so I'm gonna start with an E!"
Turkish: "Hello... AVRUPA!"
6:46 "All continents start with the letter A":
Aorth America
Aouth America
AOceania
AEurasia
In some countries, the americas are taught as one continent
Schools have been covering or removing posters in the building during testing so students can't cheat. That makes sense right? Well they're also required to cover inspirational posters even if no subject is mentioned on it. That makes no sense to me. I guess they don't even want kids to be inspired by the subjects they are learning now.
