I love both
I thought you love her -Shadowfeet- wisdom
It's Essential.

Big ol pair of personalities
"Trickster is a non-lethal combatant"
-proceeds to snap an opps spine with foot
I’m blind so I couldn’t see that. Thank you for explaining the joke.
Devs: What about a vocation that gaslights both pawns and enemies?
Most OP thing about Trickster is the amount of Drip they get. Uncanny eyes and Flitcher Kerchief just speaks to me.
i play warfarer just so i can be a sorcerer but wearing trickster’s drip lol
Not wearing a big hats as a Sorcerer should be punishable by death.
Whaddya Buyin'? Whaddya Sellin'?
@@Foogi9000Big Hat Logan from Dark Souls 1 took off all his clothes at the end of his quest but he was still wearing his big hat. As a sorcerer once the hat goes on it never comes off it’s like a law of nature.
@@Thruthkear Exactly!
"Saving the world one blunt at a time" - Trickster
No way hahaha 😂.
If you pin down an enemy, you can also attach your clone unto that enemy by pressing Strong Attack button.
It's way more work than Binding Effigy, but it's there if you don't want to equip the skill.
There's also heavy attack while holding vocation ability to latch your clone onto a target (has a quite short range and has the same drawback where missing will desummon the clone) binding effigy is safer because of the range but you can still use the non skill version on downed/stunned/frozen enemies if you dont have binding effigy in your loadout
@@anopheles6290I missed this tip, thanks 🤣.
If anyone is confused, just read about it in the [Enthralling Aroma] Core Skill.
Actually it doesn't have the drawback of dispelling the clone when it misses, so it actually makes it more less as good as the actual skill.
People really sleep on Aromatic Resurgence's true power, it not only massively strengthens your pawns while it's active but it also makes them WAY more aggressive too, which can make pawns spike massively in lethality to be borderline on par with an Arisen in regards to many vocations.
When I go Boonfarer I always bring:
Trickster - Aromatic R.
M.Archer - Fortalice
Mage - Celerity
Its so fun buffing pawns in this game.
@@ihaveaplan.ijustneedmoney.9777 Mage-Palladium is such a fun spell for me because it make me feel like am gojo
silly enemies, fog people aren't real
You’ve never played Kenshi, have you >:|
The fog came with cocaine
Fighter: "I'm the best tank!"
Trickster: "Don't be there; Don't be seen; Don't be acquired; Don't be hit; Don't be penetrated; Don't be killed."
"You see fighter, tricksters are like~... onions!"
"Well, maybe a lil' penetrated."
Warfarer with both:
Best defence, nooo be there... - Mr Miyagi.
The Hookah hero, the wock warrior, the blunt bully, the fent fighter, the Lsd rpd, the perc Pillager, and lastly, the oxy op. AKA the trickster
these are great
The advice of "always be active" is basically the same one a friend gave me on how to play Healers in FF14 and why Trickster vibed with me. How I understood it relatively quick.
"If you're not healing, you should be always be doing damage/setting up defenses. There is no downtime."
I absolutely love this vocation.
fellow FF14 player o/
Haha yes that MMO healers are so different, encourages them to deal damage majority of the game when nothing needs healing.
"ALWAYS. BE. CASTING" ✨️
Instructions unclear - now doing drugs with my enemies
dude I can totally see the goblins getting high with the Arisen.
"I have,like,no enemies man"
@@sapateirovalentin348 "my strength is uhhh, like really unmatched dude. Mega swole bro."
Show me the way 😂.
Trickster is my second favorite vocation and let me tell you. Making your character as small as possible helps a lot! Because bigger enemies will just straight up miss swings against your ghost.
Started using trickster in the unmoored world, I was absolutely blown away by how fun it was to play, even tho I was using the double sorcs, it was so refreshing to be away from the battle and make tactical decisions, rather than just bonk or shoot
Dragon's Delusion: The definition of "I'm going to shit yourself!".
Using terrace to trip enemies is so big brained wtf
Same, never thought about that. Also entirely forgot you could just body check a mf into a wall like a wrestler
Most importantly, if you're gonna use Trickster, have Chonk Lord. He's an absolute legend.
I still remember when I was in a cave full with wolves and I scared them with the Dragon. They all ran towards the same wall and were stuck there so I had a lot of time to whip them for all their money's worth - literally.
This was the moment I fell in love with this class; I was able to punish the wolves for dragging me around in the early game and got money while doing it.
The real trick is keeping those leather bits pasted to the booba mid combat.
My favourite build in Elden Ring was a full support/aggro dealer for spirit summons. Spawning mob groups and then buffing and healing the hell out of them without attacking myself.
This vocation felt tailor made to me, so glad to see it finally getting some coverage! Was fun watching you play it on stream for a bit.
Trickster seems like a good class that pairs well with a Warfarer build to let you swap to an actual weapon once you get all set up. Like Thief or Warrior, take advantage of everything not paying attention to you physically... or play a Trickster Mage/Sorcerer with at least one damage spell.
The clone will die pretty fast if you swap to a different weapon.
The only purpose of trickster is Aromatic Rally imo.
Yeah clone dies fast if you switch weapons but it's enough time to fully charge 1 warrior skill.
The fake wall can be combined with long range weapons.
And my favorite is gathering mobs, tripping them with terrace then launching everything with the Spearhand force push.
@@cherdnad2630 Huh, nice
I run Fighter, Magick Archer, and Trickster for my Warfarer and it's a solid combo
Seeing you put time into this game is always nice to see.
Regarding Fragrant Alarium.. I can imagine it being an interesting skill one day, if the devs add a Weeping Angel type enemy, that stalks and bolts towards your party, causing instant petrification.
Being able to see around tight corridors in a Bitterblack Isle looking environment with enemies like those could be pretty cool.
Trickster + 3 Sorcerers is peak gaming. I just wish Aromatic Resurgence worked better on spellcasters; they tend to just use normal attacks when under the "berserk fumes".
Also, I legit didn't know Tricky Terrace caused enemies to trip. That's amazing.
Ma'am that's not a boob window, that's a boob balcony
Thank you for this vid. I love classes like Trickster, so this was a nice treat! Makes you feel more like a battlefield commander, and I'm with that.
i hear you, but i still feel like my soul is leaving my body when i play trickster
I mean Astral Projection is a skill.
literally
Trickster: *I release your inhibitions; feel the rain on your skin!* (Buffs pawn)
glad to finally see some trickster appreciation! I'm a fan of the vape lord school of combat
It’s a very creative class and I’m happy for the people that enjoy it. Man could I not be less interested in playing this class though.
I was literally looking for trickster videos to learn how to play since I unlocked it yesterday, hoping you’d have one. And here it is in a fresh blessed based upload!
The really small details in this video really make it that much better. When I heard the fnaf jumpscare audio and the smash bros KO sound effect I couldn't help but chuckle. Amazing!
Thank you for this. I intend to do a new playthrough and use everything I did not use properly in my first run. And I am really happy that I keep finding more interesting tactics, ideas, and combinations to try out. The only two things I wish Trickster had are 1) More range on some of their skills like Astral Projection and Enemy Detection 2) Ways to inflict non-damaging debilitations. A lot of debilitations from the first game are just not present or exclusive specific skills or items. I want blinding, curse, grapnel etc (Yes I know Grapnel is not technically a debilitation but it is still cool).
I absolutely love this
Back when I played ragnarok online, there are classes that were purely for support and had to be played different from other classes
Has the most fond memories from those instances
This vid was the best trickster guide of all time, thank you for your service, you are truly a Dogma Lord
'I cast weed' is just fucking gold
Long time viewer, first time commenter. Your editing and comedic style are excellent! Thank you for sharing your work with the world.
The montage at the end was epic!~
My favorite class, it's so fun and weird
Great video! I’ll subscribe. Keep up the good work 💪🏿
Thanks for this video, I swear each time I feel a little burned out on Dogma, you drop a video and I get the itch to play it again.
I love the deep dive explaining how Aggro and KD resist interact between the player and clone. Also I didn’t realize delusion could be used to KD and interrupt bosses. That is an insane tech that makes it an auto include skill imo. Ty for the guide!
_The Tank of Dank_ , lol
That dragons delusion with the metal background music, swinging the cestus, so cool!
5:18 that prince of persia theme OHHH that brings back memories 😊hehe the funny thing is that my arisen is currently a shahdee cosplay 😂
Whimsical Daydream is the single best source of money in the entire game. Being a Trickster pays.
Love the tackle against the wallfound that by accident
You can also attach a clone to an enemy by holding RB (vocation skill) and pressing Y (heavy attack)
That clone is a stand therefore trickster is a stand user
visitant aura is pretty good with how you can place your clone up high in the air and all melee targets will struggle to hit it
This video was briliant lmao instant sub.
I did love trickster on my first playthrough. But I have to say, Warfarer speaks to me. The Fighter drip and sorcerer staff just makes me feel like Darth Vader
I didn't even realize it was a boob window I didn't take a good look AT ALL and just thought "oh neat that guy looks like a jojo character" I THOUGHT THAT WAS RAW MUSCLE AND DIDN'T BAT AN EYE 💀💀
This just made me wanna play trickster holy shit fuq
Damn having the Warrior Within Ost playing got me hyped up!
I started using Trickster and never looked back.
MKULTRA ops are underway.
I wish Trickster allowed you to summon your clone a short distance ahead of you--it would help decrease the overall setup time of fake floor + cliff shenanigans.
I was getting a bummed out that there were so many generic Trickster vids w/o a bit more explaining, or as is shown here, an understanding of the class.
Thank you, this inspired me to try the class again.
I would love to play this game so muuuuch
It's outrageous that i haven't seen your channel until now. YT finally decided to recommend this video on my feed. And i am very thankful. I have watched like half of your videos in the last hours and i've gotta say. Keep up the good content!
Also, you sound like Brit from VLDL imo.
Another trickster tip: The uncanny eyes hood and the thief face masks work together, completely covering your face, and making you look really badass.
Edit: words
I really am in the minority when it comes to how i view character creation in games, i see. Because what you said is the very last thing i'd ever want to do.
Looking at people's characters takes me back to my days on deviant art. I look at them and i'm thinking... so they really see nothing wrong with this huh? Granted there are plenty of people that intend to make goofy. And some of them are fantastic. But there are a ton of people that made girls that look like when they aren't slaying drakes, they are playing in the WNBA. And that in no way is a compliment. To each their own i guess.
@Raptchur The fuck are you talking about? I just talking about making a character look badass. But go off lol
You got me at the PoP Warrior Within OST
Woman of culture I see!
The only dd2 content creator i trust && love right here.
I enjoyed playing trickster at first, but eventually, I got bored of watching combats happen.
You can also latch your clone onto enemies by holding the vocation action button and pressing the heavy attack button, but it’s just easier to use the weapon skill.
Remember, you can stock up on tomes to get spells to make up for the damage you lack.
Playing support to your pawns is great ngl
I really couldn't get the hang of trickster, but it is extremely fucking cool and I love when RPGs do weird stuff with their classes
I like your video style
trickster was fun, it surprised me how much I played it
The most condemning thing about trickster I can say is that you can't use them in warfarer because your clone immediately dies without a constant supply of dank. It'd be hilariously busted if you could, yes. But warfarer is already hilariously busted. And I didn't pay 70 dollars to fight god just to do it FAIRLY.
I'm pretty sure while your clone is active is you press the button to drag it around and heavy attacks you can launch your clone to latch on ennemies without using a skill!
Fantasy life OST omg lmao...I love that game and have to say the usage with trickster is 100% hilarious
Watch out Grigooni, Thumbnail Tomboy is back.
Dragon's Dogma is Emergent Gameplay: The Game. Your videos keep highlighting that and I love it!
Can't wait with "every vocation is op" series
I hope we get something like a debilitation vocation, a houndmaster or summoner vocation is also a interesting concept I would love to see. But before that performance patches, 1 Month and nothing.
The trickster is the ultimate Gaslighter.
I thought Trickster was going to be boring but it’s a genuinely interesting option to have in a game like this
Small adjustmet on the Augments you suggested I made is to use the pawn buffing augments from Magick Archer over the Magick Defense and Physical defense on yourself. Like you said you'll hardly ever get hit anyways, so might as well make your pawns even more insanely powerful instead.
Absolutely love Trickster. Messing with the ai is so much fun.
Holy fucking shit. No sarcasm this video made trickster my favourite class.
It’s nice to hear a female’s opinion on a game a good change of pace
Trickster is ok, but i like to do damage myself. I am doing all vocations, only warfarer to go once i reach max trickster. Might be interesting to use trickster, mystic spearhand and magick archer for it.
Love magick archer the most so far.
Fuk me... that was one of the best, and informative videos I think I've ever seen. God damn good job.
Now, gonna go turn a trick...
Good guide, I'm waiting for a video like "this vocations op". Even if half of the vocations are already op without guides. :D
I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE ANOTHER WARRIOR GUID (if you're planning tho)
When the trailer came out I was so hyped to try an armed Morello type of build but, atleast to me, the trickster doesn't have any weight to their animations say like the Greatsword so I feel less like I am actually Playing something if that makes sense
Still working on 100+ hrs in this game, wish it had more unique gear like BBI
First few levels was a fun mess of spamming ballistae, then realising I can just have 3 sorcerers with meteon, then casting looney toons when I unlock real fake floors
Aggro is stored in the booba
Never forget the censer that gives you money when you smack things.
thanks for making me that grappling as trickster is a thing, my sorc main pawn is turning into a thief as we speak
Actually got me wanting to use trickster. I think I'll use it in warfarer though so i can still do some normal combat.
The thumbnail is hilarious lol 🤣
Well damn now I have to try trickster
Gotta compliment the use of the Fantasy Life OST
"420 blaze it" the vocation
I LOVE CHONK
this class would be perfect for a coop style gameplay with friends. For pve would be cool if it had some monk style unarmed combat
I’ll do anything to stop the wolves from dragging me off.
If i'm not using 'Latching Effigy', I usually make my simulacrom (aka clone) to hover way above the enemies with Espial Encense. Even as high as where a cyclops can not reach it. Ofcourse the ranged enemies will still hit it, but no melee. Lot's of clone survivability! Drakes and griffens will laugh at Espial Encense but then we use other tactics.. Great vid !
Behold folks- Trickster, the Master of Two Personalities!
