Hey, great reaction :) So just a few things to point out here cuz it is a quad track so always a shit ton of hidden meanings, In the intro he is making jokes without the punch line, later on he says im the punchline, later the song will tell you its about suicide. "All I could hear was the crickets, funny the joke was on me" Pretty much secretly telling us that this particular ghost killed himself and describing all he could hear were the crickets when ending his life "Im a social experiment, arent you reliefed to be hearing it" hes kind of sarcastic passive aggresive the whole song in the sense of like "Look who's got the better laugh now im dead" and then at the end u see this revengefull, but still really regretting look about what he just did. Its a miserable vibe really when u think about it.
Dude this is amazing! I honestly knew the song was about suicide because of Reddit. But I guess I didn’t know why or how the lyrics connected with that. That makes so much more sense now!! Yeah even in like the music video, I have a hard time understanding some of the scenes. I guess I’m not that analytical haha but that’s why comments like these and the stuff I see on Reddit helps a lot. The intro makes so much sense now and especially the “crickets” part now. I could never really make the suicide connection with the cricket line. Or at all really. I thought it was just a double entendre of his joke not landing and the crowd being silent, and him being buried in the ground only hearing the crickets above him. I also heard the same thing with the line "Stuck in the red, came out the blue" What points it to suicide?

Same here I didn’t understand how deep the song is at first. It took me awhile to understand the song.
