I did all the way back in August! But honestly, I started editing it and then that’s when my motivation tanked when it came to to TH-cam videos. I can definitely start working on it again. The last video I put up gave me some momentum. It was a great album though!!

Thanks man! Yeah, I really don’t even listen to him like that either. I like a good amount of songs from him, but that’s about it. I’ve been thinking of doing something like that with a rating. Or just giving like a ranking of my least favorite to favorite songs. You’re right, it would be cool to implement that. I’ve never tried adding chapters so I’ll have to try that. Usually TH-cam does it for me haha but it’s worth it to do it. I appreciate the support as always man! Take care.

Glad to hear from you! While I think I liked the album a little bit more than you, I definitely see where you’re coming from. Honestly, beerbongs and Bentleys is my favorite album from him and I think it always will be. Like you said, the singer songwriter elements with the hip hop production was just amazing. I see why you aren’t enjoying this one. There was definitely quite a good amount of songs that had to grow on me. I also think there was too much of a 80s 90s pop influence. It’s not bad, but I think the only song that has that influence that I really liked was Too Cool To Die. After that, I kind of started getting disappointed when I kept hearing that same kind of style. It’s not bad, but I just can’t listen to too much of it. I really wish there more songs like Novacandy. That one really reminded me of b&b and I thought there would be more of them. I also just think from a lyrics/songwriting perspective, I really just connected with a good amount of the tracks. The chorus in Socialite really hit the feels for some reason for me. Same thing with landmine. I think if I didn’t relate as much, I wouldn’t have enjoyed the album as much. Something Real, Socialite, and Landmine were my top 3 songs in no order. I’m sure you were disappointed after hearing Something Real and that there wasn’t really anything that sounded similar to it after it. But I completely understand your point of view! I still come back to a majority of the album. But there’s definitely songs that I could have done without. Speedometer definitely grew on me a ton. I think if you sub out a few of the pop songs for b&b style songs, A LOT of people would be engaged with this album more. But I think it all depends on your taste. What did you think of the acoustic guitar songs like Don’t Understand or Hold My Breath? He’s definitely done that style before with feeling Whitney and stay. Im late again, sorries. Tbh I think most of the songs just didnt hit for me because my taste in music just made an 180 and i really feel nostalgic about postys work. Ur right, the style on novacandy wouldve been a great way to go for for the whole album but he decided not to :') I totally forgot to mention, ur so right about landmine. After watching ur reaction, i came back to it so goddamn often eventhough it really doesnt match with my taste rn but i really appreciate it for what it is Its really interesting to see tbh that people do not like speedometer, eventhough i thought it would go crazy numberwise because of its laidback pop song attitude.. Dont understand was amazing. perfect opener but post malone tbh always had great openers to albums, from broken whiskey glasses to hollywoods bleeding (HARD AF) to the one one the last album (i forgor but it was amazing) and this one, all great. have you checked out his tinydesk concert? 1h acoustic posty, loved it. Same goes for hold my breath, amazing, tho not really sth i came back to just watched the travis video, will comment in a few days!! :D is it still summer for you? we had terrible days but late summer hit and we got one more great week here so Imma enjoy life for a bit before it gets terrible again, take care too :))@@daviddd1616

He’s so consistent with his intros for his albums. Glad you like landmine :) it’s seriously so good to me. I also just think speedometer just takes time to grow on people. That’s how it was for me and now I don’t skip it! Technically, it’s still summer. But where I live, it’s always hot pretty much so it always feels like summer. No worries! When I listened to the album, I definitely felt like people will have mixed feelings about the album. What songs did you like? It’s definitely not my favorite album from him. But the album has grown on me quite a bit since Friday. I understand though, it is a change in his style for sure. Austin should be the next video! Something Real is so good!! I’m glad you said that one. I like the other ones you mentioned as well. Texas Tea definitely changes the mood of the project. Speedometer grew on me for sure. I didn’t care for it at first. Mourning just has such a beautiful sound to it. For me, I think I just really enjoyed the songwriting and how open Post was. Most of my favorite songs were the slower ones or where it’s just a guitar. I’ll be making a community post in the future about plans for the next 4 videos. But yes Austin is next :) might take awhile but yes very excited to upload it!
