Hi, Lael. Love your channel! I just wanted to let you know that there is some misinformation in this bit of content. For instance, there are lengthy and large studies with actual people long before a drug can be approved in the US. We call them drug trials. Another is that while Ozempic/Wegovy are somewhat new, GLP1s have been around for over a decade. I've been on Mounjaro for over 2 years to help control my T2 diabetes. It's been a game changer for me and many others with T2 diabetes. A lot of the side effects you bring up are real but can be mitigated or reduced by slowly building up to a therapeutic dose. Some of the side effects that you bring up have no scientific evidence to back up these claims. I think the majority of people who use these drugs to lose weight are dealing with severe side effects because they are starting on doses that are too high and the pancreas has no time to adjust and adapt to the drugs. If the sides effects were so severe with diabetics on a noticeable scale, the drugs would be pulled from the market. I only have a minor degree in medicine but I have enough pharmacology to understand the complexities related to GLP1 use. It's complicated. Love and light.❤
I feel like with the Kardashians it's not just Ozempic, it's also them getting rid of/minimizing their BBLs, chest implants, dissolving the fillers, etc. There's a whole complex of maintainance procedures, both pharmaceutical and surgical.
surely they didn't lost weight doing gym. I improved my activities walking 20.000 steps or more EVERY single day (Sunday too) for months, I felt surely better, I gained muscles, but I've lost about 2-3 kg in 6 months... because you'll get lean and thin ONLY drastically reducing the calories intake (prolonged fasting, which I did, and I've lost 8kg in one month). Anyone who did consistent running, gym and so on knows that what they are saying is pure bullsh1t: lifting weights will make you more in shape but you will never become the half of your previous silhouette
The fact that so many people are prepared to accept the risks and costs of this stuff shows how incredibly important appearance is in our society. Bigger people are being endlessly stigmatized for being "unhealthy". This trend shows once again it's not about being healthy, it's about looks and status.
@@catus-cactusno youre just fatphobic lmao 😂 yall just want an excuse to bully people and pin your insecurities on them. not everyone whos overweight is unhealthy and not everyone whos muscular or skinny is healthy youre ignorance is showing
The thing that really freaks me out is the loss of muscle mass! That’s serious!!! Especially as you get older. I was quite heavy after having my third baby, I worked out and ate healthy, and three years later I am so healthy and strong! 💪❤️ It took time, but I gained muscle, I didn’t lose it. And I actually enjoy working out for the first time in my 30+ years of life!
Yes, that’s why it’s there for? Amphetamine is one of the best known and studied drugs. If you get it from a doctor, it’s pharmaceutical quality, you need 10-20 mg a day, for so many uses.
chronic fatigue you can not treat with ozempic. Ozempic is for diabetes peoples. More better, if you take to you more vitamins and amino acids also proteins, becasue usually have us food nothing nutritions valour. Till 80% of us food on the earh have fewer Vitamine C, Iron, Selenium, Iodum, Folic Acid, B2, B6, B12 Calcium, Magnesium Taurin, Cystein and Porteins. And man knows that since the 80s. That is the joke. Man needs also clean waters, what are not full of poison plastic as PFAS. That is reason, why are you sick and why lot of peopels get psychical problems, becasue if you have B-Vitamin, Iodum Selenium etc.. deficits do you get depression, schizophreny and that know the doctors very well, which vitamin and amino acid deficits cause mental illnesses also. I have had Diabetes II for 28 years. One of the results can be Gastroparesis, where damage to the Vagus nerve causes the Gastroparesis. I developed it acutely while in hospital recovering from cancer surgery. Symptoms: continual vomiting, inability to keep food, liquid or medication down, blood sugar level constantly dropping to 2 (coma level). Physical agony that had me writhing, moaning in the bed, literally climbing the walls. The hospital sent me home alone to live with this. I lost 18 kilos (39.5llbs) in 2 months. I had severe muscle mass loss. When reading about the Ozempic class drugs, I was immediately struck how the drug works. Like Vagus nerve damage, it paralyses your gut, resulting in unnatural slowing of digestion, leading to no appetite, uncontrolled vomiting and severe muscle loss among other things. I urge users to consider that in order to lose weight, they are creating a disease profile for which there is no cure, and can end tragically with needing a feeding tube. I would not wish Gastroparesis on my worst enemy, yet here we are creating a demand for a drug that does the same thing.
Constipation can also put pressure on your vagus nerve which also paralyzes the gut and causes migraines with severe nausea and vomiting and can cause wright loss. I have experienced this countless times especially in the last two years. I have figured out that my digestive system is extremely sensitive to processed white bread and high glycemic processed foods leading to my gut being immobilized by constipation and then I get a HORRIBLE migraine with violent projectile vomiting and can't keep any food down for about 10 hours during which I have to sleep almost the entire time due to extreme fatigue. The vomiting has gotten so bad that I'm almost positive I have fractured ribs because I had rib pain for months and months after these regurgitating sessions. I lost a lot of weight at one point too. It made it even worse that I had no one there for me except my toddler who had to witness this, it was so incredibly difficult during these days to just get out of bed so I could make him his meals and take care of him. I'm so glad that I finally figured out what was making this all happen.
I can’t imagine experiencing the gastro issues associated with this. It’s so NOT worth it. I think there will be long term issues associated with this that people are not factoring in
I was on ozempic for very short time for my type 2 diabetes and I stopped it by myself because it made my ibs w/ constipation and migraines even worse... I am now on my 3rd week trialof MOUNJARO, and the first 2 weeks, I could not poop FULL STOP... it was soo bad I had back pain on the right side of my torso, soo bad it felt I had been kicked in the ribs and stomach... I finally solved the issue by adding a high count prebiotic/prebiotic supplement pill and a lot of probiotic yogurt for a week now and I have started to poop again by the end of the third week ... So yeah, be very careful people, and if you aren't a selfbody aware, person or have a very hands-on/caring healthcare provider... DON'T do it
I am on Ozempic for about 2 years. Type 2 diabetes. Lost over 100 lbs. In a year and a half and all my numbers are perfect. No problems. It's been amazing for people who need it. My thyroid is working perfectly finally and my PCOS is under control for the first time ever. And yes I've been skinnier than I am now several times and never had all my conditions controllable. It's been a miracle for me.
My parents drilled it into us at an early age to not get into the medicine cabinet and not to take anything the doctor didn't give to whoever needed it. It's dumb to take something that was formulated for something else.
I wish I could get on it, but I don't have Diabetes, and don't want to deprive needy people. 😢 But I have PCOS as well, and have been trying my damnest to lose weight, and it never feels like anything works. It's so heartbreaking because I wasn't like this growing up, so it feels like my weight is a personal failing.
And little did I know that being too poor to afford all of the injected fillers, fat suction, and non-medically necessary Rx's, but instead having to find natural alternatives (like therapy to get to the source of issues, solid make-up techniques, and clean living habits), would be the biggest flex of all?!👍
Fr! I always think “in some ways, we’re winning.” Life is full of paradoxes like that. Having to do things the “harder” way w/ no “quick fix” is more rewarding & sustainable, so i wouldn’t trade it.
My God-sister had HORRIBLE side effects after taking this! She took it only 4 times last year and is still suffering from it. She had major depression and anxiety. She couldn’t even drive! And she had to figure out foods that she could and couldn’t eat anymore because food would make her so sick. She is randomly nauseous and has never had this many physical complications as she has now. It’s so sad. Thank you for making this video. It’s good to know both sides of taking this drug.
@@DopamineDecorshe means she took 4 injections in a row total. No one who gets that sick from this drug would take it at 4 different times within a year, that doesn’t even make sense. Sorry but this is common sense.
My sister has gastroparesis, absolutely devastating very similar what your god sister has, what ozempic does to your body is pretty much gastroparesis. Good luck):
Let’s differentiate between morbid obesity and wanting to shed a few pounds for a vacay. These medications are not for people who want to shed ten pounds. IMO, that’s when you are running the risk of these life threatening complications. Just be careful.
It’s probably starving ppl’s bodies of nutrients. That’s very likely what’s causing mood issues. People really underestimate how poor nutrition can affect your mental health. I know when I’m not eating healthy I get anxiety and irritability.
I gained like 10 or 15lbs from the meds I've had to take over the years. Including an anti-depressant. But I'll take this weight gain over the depression! I used to be pretty skinny until I started my meds. It's definitely weird to see myself like this, but I'm still a healthy weight. I'll keep my weight to stop the depressive thoughts and depression-like PMDD waves. Proud to have my extra stuffing and staying alive. Thank the Lord!
And remember lots of us guys and gals think that some extra fat is beautiful and extra attractive ❤ I bet you're just beautiful and I'm so glad your depression is better. I spent over a decade of my life in that pain and finding a way out is such a beautiful thing 🫂
You know there are zero studies that actually show how much serotonin or norepinephrine the brain is actually 'supposed' to have. There are quite a few books that phycologists have written about this and there are trauma impact manuals. SNRI and SSRI medication destroyed my life... and teeth and mental health. That lousy 'doctor' talking about how serotonin comes "from the gut" is an absolute JOKE. I'm not hating or judging but just trying to help people understand that anti depression or anti psychotic meds are absolutely dangerous and most have black box warnings. It is supposed to only be for a short amount of time (anti depressants). Yes I've self harmed and sui c id e attempts over the course of ... too long. Psychiatrists are some of the most vile and disgusting people I've ever met. They literally want to diagnose you and take your money. It is one of the absolute biggest scams that has ever existed imo. I hope that things get better though and really honestly I wouldn't be on the meds for very long.
For real! Those PMDD symptoms are NO JOKE! I also have PMDD along some other mental health issues. Let me tell you, those intrusive thoughts and feelings associated with PMDD is some of the worst emotional/ irritability based experiences. I definitely don’t need any help in exacerbating those symptoms.
I have PCOS and couldn’t lose weight for the life of me. On this drug I lost 25 pounds already and finally feel normal levels of hunger. It’s a miracle for me
No bad outcomes ?! That's because they photoshop soo much. They even hire paps on call to stage unexpected pap shots that are photoshopped before released. Their untouched photos aren't too hot !!
I have prediabetes and Hashimoto's disease and my doctor wanted me to try Ozempic to get out of the red zone. I'm on both Ozempic and Metformin, am down 40 pounds, and have no side effects like stomach pains, diarrhea, depression, or nausea. I agree people who don't have preexisting conditions shouldn't try this as a miracle drug, but for me it is a miracle. I've never felt better and am so much more mentally happy with myself
I have gastroparisis (stomach/GI paralysis) and I can tell you, it's the worst thing. I'm always bloated, nauseous, I only have a bowl movement maybe once or twice A MONTH!! I'm on alot of daily medications to manage these symptoms. I live in constant pain and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. My friend is taking one of these ozempic type meds and she seems fine. Yet my lash girl had to get off it because the side effects were so bad.
Agree. I had that for a long time as the result of an eating disorder and it was horrible. No one believed me that food would sit in my stomach for so much longer than everyone else. It was painful. I don't know why anyone would want a drug that causes this
Oh honey, I’m so sorry. I practiced medicine for a long time and saw many people with your condition. It’s a miserable experience. People who’ve never seen it, much less experienced it, have no idea how much it affects every minute of every day. I understand the absolute desperation to lose weight, but if they had any idea of what could potentially happen, they would find another way. It’s not easy, I know that. It took me YEARS of working out to get where I am now. It’s a lot. I think I was a lucky one. If I hadn’t seen patients with gastric paralysis, I might’ve jumped on the Ozempic train. I had a mild case of pancreatitis due to Covid and was miserable. The thought of causing it myself is unthinkable. I’m thinking of you and hope you can someday find true relief. Stay strong.
I have had Colitis for over 2 months after weaning off of Cymbalta too quickly. That means watery diarrhea and loss of appetite daily. I feel your pain.
Do you get enough fiber in your diet? This is the main substance your digestive system needs to keep things moving, especially indigestible fiber. 95% of Americans dont get enough fiber in their diets and its a huge factor of why so many people have health issues, espcecially issues related to the gut.
14:25 I have a hypothesis about this! This is anecdotal, but there’s a few reasons I think that this might happen. Suicidal thoughts or depression can be HUGE signs of omega 3 deficiencies , protein deficiencies , carbohydrate deficiencies , severe severe macronutrient deficiencies can all trigger depression by literally depressing the brains function. I have crash dieted in the past, and any time I have ever been in a severe caloric deficit, my usually sunny and kind disposition morphs into a horrifically depressed basket case. My anxiety is so severe if I don’t eat enough fats or carbs - and your body needs protein to create serotonin!!! Without these macros , your body will shut down. If Ozempic causes people to struggle to eat *at all*, it’s no wonder it would ruin their mind.
@@77parrotheadI wish doctors would recommend therapist more then. Medication will never truly solve the issue. Especially when it causes other issues thay are unnecessary and maybe worse than the eating issues.
If someone has PCOS, they should use inositol with folic acid! This is a much safer alternative and for me has zero side effects. I lost 51 pounds on it after many years of struggle. Inositol in higher doses also treats depression. I’m furious that doctors are so ready to write you a prescription but won’t tell you about natural options.
I was hospitalized with a bad case of acute pancreatitis at 27 due to alcoholism (thankfully haven't had a drink in 3.5 years now and my life is so much better for it). It is, by far, the absolute worst pain I have ever expereienced, nothing else comes close to comparing (that includes several broken bones and a spinal tap). It is crazy to me that healthy people are risking pancreatitis to lose a few pounds.
Yeah, you put yourself in a situation that’s far different than someone losing weight. And I think that’s a crazy comparison. Pancreatitis is a negligible risk with Ozempic. You cannot compare that to your pancreatitis induced by severe alcoholism.
I’ve been on antidepressants since I was 17-I’m 24 now. Recently, my dosage was increased to the maximum, and I’ve gained a significant amount of weight. Having been severely underweight for most of my life, adjusting to my new body, a few stone heavier, has been a journey. Still, I wouldn’t consider using something like Ozempic to lose the extra weight. At the end of the day, I am who I am, and I expect people to accept me as I am (as should anyone). Thank you, Lael, for the work you’re doing to challenge our mindsets. It means a lot!
Thank you so much for being so open, makes me feel less alone🩷I’ve just gained weight for the first time at 23 after being a skinny ballerina and it’s rough😅stay strong and keep loving yourself 😊
I stopped taking my antidepressant medications after 6 year and it was literally best decisions I've made. I literally lost about 20 kilos in about a year and thats the best feeling in the world. Wouldn't change it for anything.
I actually find the link to regulating serotonin through weight loss medication to be very interesting. Another side effect that isn't talked about is not wanting to drink alcohol. I googled it and it's because the meds act in regulating your serotonin so you don't receive serotonin from food or alcohol (which would help people with food addiction and obesity). I also saw a study where they might try to use a similar product for drug and alcohol for addiction.
I lost 140lbs doing keto and exercising 3 days a week. It took 14 months of hard work and I'd do it again. I remember the Phen Phen craze a few years back only for It to later cause heart problems, some permanent and some 💀's for a lot of people and ever since, taking anything to lose weight wasn't happening. Most people don't take the side effects seriously until they appear. Every drug has a risk, big or small. Do what you need to do for you, just make sure the risk is really worth the reward.
People with type 2 diabetes have it because they also aren't eating less or exercising more. They could also do that and arguably have way more of a reason to be motivated to lose the weight. Not sure what the excuse is to not.
I lost nearly three stone in a year by doing a low carb diet and 16:8 fasting. It can be done without Ozempic! Thank you for putting this video out there. People really need to take this drug seriously.
i have IBD... i had bowl obstruction... You dont want that! Its worst pain ever! I hoped in quick Dea+h in that hours of pain... i would never take anything, that can make me suffer like that again.
As someone who‘s had a mild gastroparesis for several years now, I seriously can’t comprehend how people willingly choose to have these symptoms… I’ve also had to be hospitalized many times because of not being able to even keep down any water for a while. I didn’t choose this, but others actually do? I’m much better now due to diet changes and medicine that helps me, but I literally suffered daily from all of these symptoms and therefore know how difficult it gets to live that way.
Gastritis and Colitis for life ever since I had my dying gallbladder removed 10 years ago here. I hate my digestive tract at this point lol, I would never willingly take a medication that could possibly give me the same side effects..
Every. Single. Drug You take has side effects. I’ve worked in obesity medicine for 20 years, and this video is a little over the top. As I said, with any medications there are risks, you have to weight the risks and benefits. Do I think it’s ok to use this drug to lose 10-20 pounds, absolutely not. Someone who has been overweight most of their lives who have underlying and metabolic or hormonal issues can absolutely benefit from this medication. My belief is that if you are going to be prescribing this drug, you have to monitor your patients very closely. Unless you are actively working on building muscle mass, don’t bother with this medication, as regain will be inevitable. Many of the studies you referenced have been done on patients who have underlying health issues, specifically type 2 diabetes. The risks of living a life being morbidly obese is much higher than taking ozempic in my clinical experience. Very few of my patients have the major side effects you mention. Unfortunately many prescribers do not know how to actually utilize this medication, and how the doses should be tapered VERY GRADUALLY. Most doctors prescribe increased WAY TOO FAST. This causes many of the side effects you spoke of. Overall this medication has been a game changer for patients that it is appropriate for. “Ozempic face” happens with weight loss, with or without ozempic. I know things need to be exaggerated to encourage views, but I think this is doing a disservice to give medical advice without bring a medical professional.
I know 5cpeoplecwho were/ are on it. 4 gotcoff of it and one is willing to live with the side effects. 3 are diabetic. So our experience has been different.
@@annettefournier9655 Unfortunately as I said, when prescribers don’t understand how to dose this medication, the side effects can be brutal. It’s sad that family doctors who prescribe it don’t learn as much about it as they should. The patients are the ones that end up suffering.
I’ve noticed that the over the top fear mongering in Lael’s videos is increasing. The lasik video was kind of a turning point for me in realizing that. She’ll take a topic, read info, then crank that info up to 11. 😢
25:58 "why are we even doing it?" 🙋🏼♀️I can answer that: our culture equates weight loss with health (beauty) desiring no further context, nuance, or complexity. A low number on the scale means you're "healthy" (attractive) and nothing. else. matters.
People who just need to lose ten or fifteen pounds shouldn't use this. I think for people with morbid obesity, which comes with its own severe side effects and complications, it can be worth it. Especially if they're trying to avoid weight loss surgery, which is as invasive as it gets when it comes to weight loss.
People LOVE to talk about how you need to lose weight to be healthy, completely neglecting the fact that losing weight via starvation is extremely dangerous and unhealthy. If someone criticizes you for your weight, 9/10, they aren’t concerned for your health. They’re just shallow and want you to look a certain way. I’d rather be 5 lbs overweight than be at a “healthy” weight through unhealthy methods. Jfc ppl. Love you L-Dawg. You always keep it real.
im on zepbound that's for obesity and it's taken me almost 2 years now to lose 80 pounds. no side effects. im sorry others are having issues with the other GLP1 drug!! it's not a SHORTCUT or a QUICK WAY to lose weight. i think the people that lose so fast tend to regain it once they're off. for me, it's a long term medication.
Exactly i was put on it to help me with my ed and pcos. So i went on it and had to increase my calories to let my body heal. It has saved my life and yes i lost weight like 4kg. But you definitely need to eat on it and have dr supervision. The drastic loss is.cos it suppresses your appetite they just stop eating which will do more damage as i did the stop eating thing
A colleague of mine, aged in her 20s, has kidney disease and was recently prescribed Ozempic to help manage it. She was told it was either that or most likely be on dialysis within five years. She is struggling to eat anything, is always on the verge of vomiting, and experiencing other symptoms. It’s awful, but she doesn’t have a choice. It blows my mind people are going on this drug just for weight loss, when they do have other options.
Whole economy is just about marketing marketing marketing. Remember a quote from "The Princess Bride", "Life is pain your highness, anyone who says otherwise is trying to sell you something."
I was on a compounded version of tirzepatide for 1.5 month around the middle of this year. In that 1.5 months, I lost around 35 or so lbs. I have a preexisting retina condition in my left eye that requires monthly specialist visits and injections and I can confirm that my condition definitely worsened on this drug. I finally stopped when my hair started falling out in literal CLUMPS. The hair loss continued for months even after stopping the drug. It’s only JUST NOW getting better and after a strict daily supplement schedule I can tell it’s finally thickening back up, thankfully. I now call this the devil’s medicine to anyone who will listen. The only somewhat good thing that came of it is that I didn’t gain any weight back, but I plan to lose the remainder naturally through a good diet and exercise.
If it helps your mom manage her diabetes AND the side effects are worth it? Then yes. But that's up to your mom to decide for herself alongside her doctor.
@ yeah she went through all the side effects after change her dose twice so now she’s been sticking to the same dose for the past 6 months. Thanks for the reassurance!
Hi, your mother probably has type 2 diabetes. And that's a good thing because this diabetes can be controlled with a good diet! Look into diabetes remission. A nutritionist can save your mother from taking medication
Ozempic is a really good drug for diabetics. I know some people who are diabetic and don't like it, but there are alternatives. But that's a conversation she has to have with her doctor. If it's working for her, and the side effects are manageable, then that's a good thing. I'm 29 and I take an Ozempic dosage... Age doesn't matter when you're dealing with diabetes treatment, if you've got the disease then you need to address it.
She is overreacting, obesity and many, many other drugs related to obesity management have worse side effects. The majority of people don’t have terrible side effects and it has improved the life of many people. These meds still require lifestyle changes but it facilitates it by controlling the addictive aspects of food.
Not a scientist by any means, but I'm just out of a hospital and my neighbor was a woman who suffered a blood clot in her lung artery after ozempic. Our doctor wasn't surprised at the slightest
Every time im feeling down about myself, you always bring me back up by reminding me to love myself for who I am. I rather have a few extra pounds by maintaining my antidepressants and working out at the gym rather than risk going blind which is one of my top fears. Im so glad i found your channel. I send love to anyone else struggling, im proud of you ❤
My mom had her Thanksgiving dinner early this weekend, and she had a friend stop in that I hadn’t seen in several years. Last I saw her was during the early days of the pandemic out at a grocery store, and she was overweight, but nothing that was outstanding in terms of major obesity (maybe 180-200ish if I had to guess) … like, she got around good and kept up with stuff like makeup, hair, nails, wearing nice clothing, etc. and she was always trying to workout and be on some diet whenever I talked her the times prior, but she always joked about falling back into old habits of quitting and looking for other quick alternatives. My mom would always try to get her to go walking with her or come over and swim as it’s how my mom lost her weight, but she never did I don’t guess … Because I saw her today and she’s smaller than I am, and I am 5’7” 120lbs. She’s roughly the same height and looks like she is 100lbs - enough for her to ask me if I had any clothes I didn’t want anymore that she’d buy them off of me. I asked her what she did and buddy she was happy to say “Oh, I have been on Ozempic!” I could see my mom standing behind her shaking her head and rolling her eyes with a mad look on her face. Later found out mom has argued with her about it saying it’s dangerous and she refuses to listen, but she was so proud of it … Her cheekbones stuck out badly and the cheek/jowl areas were hollow. I could see her collarbones through her blouse … that was covering them. She was constantly pulling up her pants that fit loosely on her thighs… I could only feel pity for her even though she seems to be happy. Mom is scared she’s going to get a call that she’s had a heart attack or something because she went behind her goal weight and continues to push it to where she can’t get anymore prescribed to her, her doctor refuses to now (despite putting her on the shite to begin with) and has resorted to buying it off of someone selling on Marketplace. 🫤 Mom argued with her about how she doesn’t know if she’s getting a legit product or not that she could have anything put into her body and she kept saying “no, no, I know it’s legit, I have used it often so I know what to look for…” Ozempic has been a blessing and a curse for society. Blessing for those that have medical reasons to actually use it (diabetic), a curse for everyone else using it to lose weight quick instead of taking a much healthier route that ensures a longer life without all the health issues. People have just traded one health issue for another.
I'm on Ozempic for weight loss, as I have 100lbs to lose for normal BMI. I never had any of the side effects that most people experience, and the only inconvenience I have is the very rare nausea, that disappears after a few minutes. I tried, exercise and clean eating and plateaued like three months later. This med is good for those who've tried everything else, but even that med doesn't make me lose the amount of weight most people do. I've been on it for over two years and only ever lost 16lbs, but did lose a size in clothes.
My mom is a petite woman with type 2 diabetes. Her doctor was pushing ozempic medication on her and she asked the family if it was safe, we warned her and told her to push back. She many other health problems because of cancer so we didn’t want her to have more. I thank all the celebrities and normal people telling us the truth about the side effects of this medication.
I honestly couldn't care less what celebs do. People with money always afford whatever they want either way and all the people with diebetes type 2 gorged on food FOR YEARSSSSSS instead of putting the work themselves.
I was 220 lbs---- I would exercise/diet but I kept gaining weight. Wegovy changed that. I'm at the healthiest weight I've ever been and my blood work has been coming back great. I get that it's bad for some people... but it's completely changed my life for the better.
@@spongiformencephalitisIf it's for a medical reason, legit weight loss ok. She's warning people who are already tiny, who don't need it. If you're 100-170 YOU ARE FINE. She's literally telling people it's okay to have weight
Ozempic has the same effect as depression has had on me, making my body look skeletal and haunting because I'm not eating much anymore. This is so not healthy, and definitely not lasting.
I've had kidney failure for 20 years. You do NOT want that! You will spend every other night in the hospital for as long as it takes to have a successful transplant and you LITERALLY STOP PEEING. I didn't pee for 9 years! Imagine all the bloat from all that you guys.
As someone with gastroparesis (delayed gastric emptying/GI paralysis) who has been reliant on TPN (iv nutrition), tube feeds, & lots of meds just to survive for YEARS. It’s not worth it and breaks my heart how many ppl are going to start developing gastroparesis and other help problems/chronic illnesses bc of using Ozempic whn it’s not essential/something specifically mentioned to you by your own Dr💚😔
Why do people still equate losing weight with working out? In the gym, you only give your muscles the necessary boost, strengthen your ligaments and joints. Losing weight is more about food than about strength training. Therefore, this is not the best excuse to justify and hide the use of medication
Becasue diet and exercise are still the best ways to lose weight and being healthy. Daily movement is good for you overall health even if your goal isn't weight loss.
I actually do believe Khloe didn't do Ozempic, or at least that's not how she got skinny. Maybe she uses Ozempic to help maintain but she was doing her revenge body show before Ozempic was even on the scene and it's not really fair to take that away from her just because a bunch of other people, including her sisters, are doing it. Khloe is the one who consistently dates athletes so she would be the one to eventually get in to fitness. She also lacks the Ozempic Face that other people get. Her face isn't as hollowed out as Kylie's is.
i also don’t think kylie is on ozempic. removing bbl and implants absolutely but she’s said she is trying to scale down with beauty stuff because of her daughter and how she wants to do better for her daughter basically and she does seem sincere tbh. the growth between age 17 and 27 is steep lbr.
I just looked up mounjaro and the first side affect is thyroid tumors that leads to thyroid cancer and to watch out for throat swelling…. That is terrifying. I have 30 pounds to lose and I have contemplated taking it but I’m scared I’d be in the small percentage that would have bad luck with it
In Ireland, for example, doctors want to make these drugs free of charge for patients now. It's turning into policy. They are saying things like "losing weight doesn't cure obesity," but they'll go ahead and prescribe Ozempic 🤷♀️
I took 3 weekly injections of .25 (lowest dosage) and for the 1st 3 days after each injection I experienced extreme nausea and unusual stomach pain. On the 3rd night of the 3rd injection I awoke with the most horrible stomach pain unlike any pain I've ever felt with severe nausea and it lasted 2 hours with no vomiting, no diarrhea, and no gas. The next day my stomach was actually sore. That was the last injection I had.
that’s kinda funny considering some ppl seem to be addicted to ozempic already (ozempic dealers are a thing and for example ppl that no longer get the prescription because they are normal weight are customers)
I have an uncle who almost died of pancreatitis (in his case it was caused by alcoholism, and it wound up being the thing that finally scared him into sobriety). Why anyone would knowingly risk that, I don't know. Gastroparesis is also an utter nightmare.
Pros over cons. I don’t like when people judge those on GLP1s. Some people need it. Diabetics and those with a higher risk of cardiovascular disease can greatly benefit from it. My blood pressure medication has higher risk of side effects. If it makes you throw up and give you bad side effects…don’t take it
Pros over cons indeed! I’m on a GLP1 medication and it’s the only thing in my life that’s ever actually stopped my obsessive eating disordered thoughts and hormonal problems. It’s horrific that so many people are having problems and I definitely think it needs to be better controlled- however in my case and a lot of people I know it feels like ozempic or mounjaro has completely rewired our brains and killed our eating disorders stone dead. I’ll take being mildly nauseated on and off for a few days a week happily if it means I no longer am living with a crippling lifelong eating disorder.
The audacity and judgement of people at normal weights towards overweight/ obese people to lose weight. Newsflash every time you take a drug you are gambling on your health, be it aspirin, paracetamol etc THEY ALL have fatal side effects . Obesity is the number one world health crises due to various factors. Tirzepatide can deplete b12 levels which is to be noted. Also newsflash exercising is NOT the biggest factor in losing weight. Diet is. And the great part about tirzepatide. Is that it stops the cravings giving you an opportunity to reset your gut microbiome which is critical in changing habits. I’m so sick of the judgement from normal weight people who have NO idea the troubles people go through with their weight. The broken food industry is hooking people onto food like substances and people are susceptible and don’t have the education or support to get off them. The blatant judgemental attitudes from people to make them feel better than others is sickening. I put on 5 stone. I lost two stone by changing my diet, but after that I could not physically eat less than 1500 calories. I could not. I tried intermittent fasting and did it successfully for 30 hours. But then I could not do it again. It was too physically painful to starve myself. Which is essentially what intermittent fasting is. My scales told me I’d lost half a stone more than I had and I calorie counted for a month not losing a pound which is normal for overweight people because the body DOES NOT want to go below the higher baseline. On mounjaro I could push through this and exercise for the first time in my life. Tirzepatide and GLP 1 agonists have been approved for weight loss so this narrative that they’re for type 2 diabetes (which by the way is the type people give THEMSELVES) does not make it any less legitimate for weight loss.
So crazy how many people are on Ozempic tons of moms are it at my gym. I started noticing they were getting so skinny so I asked what they changed? Nothing! Just started taking Ozempic and let me tell you they are way more low energy.
I was on it for 3 months, I had no side effects but the thing is IT DOSN'T LAST. The second you get off of the drug (I stopped because I couldn't afford it) you gain everything back. I lost 30 pounds and gained it all back within 3 friggin weeks. I tried so hard to keep it.. I just couldn't
that’s due to reactive eating. the body trying to recover from starvation cause it thinks you were in a desert or smth not that you chose to starve yourself.
Obesity also has a ton of side effects, including massive increase of cardiovascular disease. Obesity and diabetes kills a lot more people. Furthermore, medications to reduce cholesterol also have terrible side effects, including death. A lot of the side effects can also be managed by proper use and following up with a Dr. Having a proper diet hi in fiber and protein, strength training, drinking water, etc are all very important while taking GLP-1 medications. Many of these side effects are also related to rapid weight loss so it’s hard to ascertain if the weight loss or the meds are at fault. Lastly, these medications are an aid that helps you change your habits, people need to stop seeing it as an easy way to lose weight and start doing the work to better health. Many people have been able to titrate down and stop these drugs while maintaining their weight loss with the new healthy lifestyle.
People think that these drugs just burn fat, which in the simplest explanation I guess it does, but forget that it has to go somewhere it doesn't just disappear
It’s crazy, isn’t it? Would we rather be skinny and go blind or be abit chunkier and be able to see??? Your videos are full of lots of common sense and generally just being sensible and WE NEED THIS IN SOCIETY!!!!!!
I think you’re cherry picking examples where people have had negative side effects and ignoring ones where peoples lives have been changed for the positive. Not every drug works well for every person. I caution you not to shame people who are improving their health with these drugs.
It scares me to see all this knowing my mom just started taking Ozempic. She's been struggling with her weight for years but insists that she's starving herself the healthy way because she was trained as a dietitian (but hasn't worked as one for decades). I think because she also has IBS the side effects may be no big deal to her, and she did take it because her A1C was a little elevated and she has non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. So far she's okay, but she's starting to gain other physical limitations as she ages and I really hope that she doesn't lose her vision or end up hospitalized for side effects. I'm also hoping she doesn't start recommending that I take it just to lose weight. Personally I've had a lot more success focusing on movement and food neutrality with things like intuitive eating and health at every size, and though I know I need to move more, I'm finally starting to lose that desire to lose weight for looks reasons. I would certainly NEVER put myself on this drug just to lose weight. I'm so happy it exists for people with diabetes though! I've heard lots of stories of diabetics finally feeling on top of their conditions and healthy again, and that's great! Just goes to show you that taking drugs off label is usually not a good idea.
As a diabetic, I can't imagine anyone voluntarily choosing medication with the side effects that I have to deal with everyday. Nausea, digestion issues, extreme exhaustion, food sensitivities, dehydration, and on it goes. I would give anything to not have to take the meds I take. I look back before my diagnosis and I wish for those days.
I have problems with digestion due to a couple autoimmune disorders and it's awful, not just the pain of digestion, but the inability to properly absorb nutrients which leaves me deficient in iron and other things you need to function, not to mention I get SIBO a lot from slow digestion. I'm tired pretty much all the time and can no longer risk eatting gluten. For real just diet and exercise this ain't worth it
I gained like crazy amount of weight on antidepressent. I think I was 142-145 lbs to my heaviest 182; thats like a 40 pounds weight gain within 6 months. I still take antidepressent but now I am down to 165, I used to get crazy cravings and I still do but I balance out the food and still have cheat days. It was honestly so frustrating :(, I feel these girls on a diff level.
It is ok to talk about side effects of medications but speculating whether someone has taken ozempic or not is not only invasive but also borderline bullying. It is no one's business what medication anyone is on. I am diabetic and I took both ozempic and mounjaro and it is the only medication that actually helped because dieting and working out was not enough. Now every single time someone loses weight all the comments section fill up with ozempic. It is so annoying and rude. On the other hand if a celebrity or person has lost weight and they are being asked about what they did they should be honest, but it is so innapropriate to assume this.
My dear Lael, You remind me of the type of friend that is picking up the books, the book bag, the purse, the jacket the shoes, the earrings even... Being chucked at her from behind her friend who's walking away in a panic throwing these things with no regard for you chasing her, because she can't see through her tears, or think past her pain,... You're picking these flying objects up from off the ground, picking them off the street and out of the bushes, while all the while, telling her, " It's okay! You got this girl! Don't be so hard on yourself, he's not worth it, it's not worth it, they aren't worth it. You have yourself and you are all that you need." Breaking this wildcats rage down, until she stops barefoot and dirty, mascara running, just to turn around and throws herself into your arms. Even with everything you're holding for her... There's room in your arms to hold her too. That's the kind of friend you are. Any of these women that reach out to you are lucky to have you, even as far away as you might be, you're right there.🌹
Ozempic and Mounjaro were now declared as a weight-loss drug. If a person has chronic weight issues and obesity (even with undiagnosed PCOS or thyroid imbalance) this could be prescribed. I have tried it (not the actual brand Ozempic) a compound with semaglutide and it has helped me lose the stubborn 50lbs that was caused by an anti-depression medication and a severe hormonal imbalance. Now that I am 'only' 15lbs overweight before entering a healthy weight zone, I can be off the medicine and continue working out and eating healthy. I haven't had any side effects and I am glad this is helping others as well.
I am in support of it. I hope it helps others suffering from hormonal, autoimmune, thyroid, diabetes, and other issues. I am a psychologist too so I also hope and advocate that this medication should be more regulated than those med-spas giving them to ALL people. Teenagers, young adolescents, and older people that need to drop less than 15 lbs should not be given. We need additional screening for it to be given and my primary doctor did not prescribe it until AFTER she did test after test and finding ways to improve it before sending me to a endocrinologist.
I was listening to this video while cleaning, I thought you were talking about how this drug works and how it is being marketed for 2 minutes before I realized it was a TH-cam AD! So ironic and also scary
On the other hand with a proper healthy weight loss regiment you as outlined by Dr Ekberg you DO get to eat until you’re full 😊 I did! Just less often - give that blood sugar a chance to drop. Extra weight just melted off ☺️
Even with a strict lifestyle change and exercise plan, it takes months if not years to change your body that drastically. Especially if your genetics do not make you naturally thin. There are also hormonal changes in women as they age and after pregnancy. They all look far too thin for their body type. Their faces also look very similar.
I'm a nurse and every medication you take has a cost versus reward. We need to decide if the risk is worth it. My mom is taking ozempic and has been on it for about 6 months. She is obese, had a heart attack in 2020, has cardiovascular disease, high cholesterol, is a type 2 diabetic, and has hypertension. Her A1C was almost 10 when she started it; normal is about 5. She's down to just under 7 and has lost about 20lbs. Her cholesterol has even improved. She has luckily not had any side effects and her eyes are already monitored for diabetes. For her and people like her, the risk is worth it. Diabetics with PCOS, the risk may be worth it. Be monitored closely. I'll be honest, I tried to get some ozempic. I'm obese with high blood pressure and high cholesterol. My insurance doesn't pay for semaglutide for weightloss.
You can get for 250/mo delivered to door-i have friends that use fridays and it is making them lose 10-15 pounds a month. I use a compounding pharmacy locally and pay$200/mo
off topic, but i love seeing the stuffed axolotl chilling against the play button plaque. whenever i would get nervous or squeamish, i would just look at it and feel a little better!! it's probably not important, but it's just something i wanted to express for a while!!
You seem to disparage people trying to use this drug for “just a few pounds” of weight loss but you show a lot of images of people who were clearly in the overweight to obese categories and lost weight. I would say that Lana’s picture looked like she might’ve even been in the obese category at her highest weight. Are you saying there weren’t medical reasons for her to lose weight - and she might not have been able to without this drug?
Finally! My size is back in! lol I’m 5ft 3 1/4 inches 119lbs and no matter what I do, weight doesn’t really stick and if I try to put on weight to “get thick”lol, it only goes to my stomach of course lol never my butt or chest, rolling my eyes lol, so I just accepted that my body is gonna do what it is gonna do.
same im 5'5" 100lbs. It's natural for me but I must start working out...I gained 20lbs once just by lifting a few weights, stopped and then lost it. I feel very weak at the moment and my posture is bad. I eat super healthy and my mental health is pretty good. Changing your body is hard for anyone. It's hard work.
There's another hazard of Ozempic that tends to get overlooked: *Because it's so popular for weight loss, Ozempic shortages are a reality for people who need it to manage their diabetes.* I have a friend who has experienced this, being unable to get the medicine they need to survive because people were being prescribed the drug for weight loss. This is obviously not a great thing for diabetics.

Exactly, they're huge liars
Yep
@@jdmmg4904 exactly, they always were liars.
surely they didn't lost weight doing gym.
Obesity and being overweight is not stigmatized. It is unhealthy no matter your size. ‘Skinny fat’ or not.
Bigger people ARE unhealthy...but taking this ozempic crap is not the cure all...
@@catus-cactusno youre just fatphobic lmao 😂 yall just want an excuse to bully people and pin your insecurities on them. not everyone whos overweight is unhealthy and not everyone whos muscular or skinny is healthy youre ignorance is showing
@@catus-cactus you just proved it with this comment. people rather be skinny and sick, than a bit above average and healthy
This is the way to go. People have become lazy, they want everything NOW, without caring about the consequences.
Congrats! That is a lot of hard work! Being muscular at as we women age is sooo important! It’s not easy but well worth it!

Using Ozempic to lose 10lbs is like using speed to help your chronic fatigue
who will prescribe for 10lbs?? not a doctor 1000%
in Saudi you have to see overweight clinic and be bmi > 40
@@quitbeingIllusion "in Saudi" - you answered your own question.
DON'T do it
I am so sorry 💔💔💔 and this world is getting so scary that this is what is seen as "trendy"!!!
Bless your heart. I pray you grow stronger and healthier and break all of the notions of what is normal for the body to do.
Type 2 diabetes is the one you give yourself so eat less. Simple
My parents drilled it into us at an early age to not get into the medicine cabinet and not to take anything the doctor didn't give to whoever needed it. It's dumb to take something that was formulated for something else.
Its life changing, i am so happy for you!
@@pathways678 Who says you can't be on it for life?

Yo S/O to therapy! That shit makes a huge difference.
This is so funny 😂
My God-sister had HORRIBLE side effects after taking this! She took it only 4 times last year and is still suffering from it. She had major depression and anxiety. She couldn’t even drive! And she had to figure out foods that she could and couldn’t eat anymore because food would make her so sick. She is randomly nauseous and has never had this many physical complications as she has now. It’s so sad. Thank you for making this video. It’s good to know both sides of taking this drug.
Do you mean she only took 4 doses or she took it 4 times for a while?
@@DopamineDecorshe means she took 4 injections in a row total. No one who gets that sick from this drug would take it at 4 different times within a year, that doesn’t even make sense. Sorry but this is common sense.
What on earth is a god sister??
Disruption of gut flora / healthy gut bacterial system, I'd like to say.
@whims6278 🥹 Aww thank you!
@mirascolors2011 yes! All my mental health problems get worse about two weeks before. Like bro! That's almost all the time! 😫
It won't sink in until some 'celebrity' dies, as a direct result of using it.
Sharon Osbourne and Jessica Simpson look terrifying 😥
I have PCOS and couldn’t lose weight for the life of me. On this drug I lost 25 pounds already and finally feel normal levels of hunger. It’s a miracle for me
Did you try metformin?
Same here, finally after years of being in a calorie deficit and exercising. I finally feel normal and I’m back at a weight I haven’t seen in 10 years
I was considering going on this but the side effects put me off
It’s meant for people with diabetes. Not bariatric folks like yourself.
Its still awful for your health
Kardashians are so lucky they get a thousand procedures, on medications, and yet never seem to have bad outcomes.
Eventually they will get reactions to all these procedures.
Yeah! but they are starting to look like their from another planet.

Their weird faces and huge bottoms are kind of bad outcomes. Not to be rude. But they look like uncanny valley to me.
I am the exact same...I'm down 80 lbs. Ozempic and Metformin has changed my life.
Oof, I'm so sorry. I have a friend with really bad gastroparesis and I would not risk that as a side effect of anything! It is so debilitating.
I understand addiction very well, but it is super sad that half the world is starving and the other half is taking drugs to not get fat.
Very hunger games at the dinner in the president's mansion

@@rebeccapaul460 yep so true. The Hunger games is certainly based off real events/world issues.
The United States isn't the whole world, dear.
Too true.
@@xg2513I also think it has to do with these patients whose coping mechanism is food can no longer cope with food like they used to.
You cannot compare that to your pancreatitis induced by severe alcoholism.
citizens of Ozempia, turn back before it’s too late!!
OMG 😱
Ozempic is concerning AS FUCK!!! I'm a therapist and I really worry about anyone who's on it! Also there are NO LONG TERM STUDIES OUT THERE!
also your makeup is SO GOOD
I actually find the link to regulating serotonin through weight loss medication to be very interesting.
I love keto!!!!
Let's leave the Ozempic for the people suffering from Type 2 diabetes, shall we? Want to lose weight? Eat less and exercise!!!
Diabetes is reversible through diet and exercise. No one needs drugs
@@SchpliffySorry, that is not so...

My dad is Type 2 diabetic and was on Ozempic. Even using it for its intended purpose, it was scary how quickly his weight went down.
I had my gall bladder removed 13 years ago and have never felt better. Interesting how things can affect people differently.
Chron's disease here. Never gonna take this stuff!
Thanks for very informative video. Great channel!
Every. I know things need to be exaggerated to encourage views, but I think this is doing a disservice to give medical advice without bring a medical professional.
thank you!!!

🙋🏼♀️I can answer that: our culture equates weight loss with health (beauty) desiring no further context, nuance, or complexity.
I’d love to be only 5 pounds overweight!
What is this jump?
im on zepbound that's for obesity and it's taken me almost 2 years now to lose 80 pounds. no side effects. im sorry others are having issues with the other GLP1 drug!! it's not a SHORTCUT or a QUICK WAY to lose weight. i think the people that lose so fast tend to regain it once they're off. for me, it's a long term medication.
My mom is diabetic and has been taking ozempic for 2 years+ now, but is it honestly more harmful than helpful for my mom ? She’s 39 btw..

My mom would always try to get her to go walking with her or come over and swim as it’s how my mom lost her weight, but she never did I don’t guess …
Because I saw her today and she’s smaller than I am, and I am 5’7” 120lbs.
Later found out mom has argued with her about it saying it’s dangerous and she refuses to listen, but she was so proud of it …
Her cheekbones stuck out badly and the cheek/jowl areas were hollow.
🫤 Mom argued with her about how she doesn’t know if she’s getting a legit product or not that she could have anything put into her body and she kept saying “no, no, I know it’s legit, I have used it often so I know what to look for…”
Ozempic has been a blessing and a curse for society.

I will never understand ppl who don’t need it and are willing to take it anyways. It’s cheaper and healthier to work out and make good food choices.

She did use it to achieve her newest look. Listen to her reply to that post again in this video.
Khloe and her sisters, mother and her boyfriend all lost lots of weight at the same time. 🤔
i also don’t think kylie is on ozempic. removing bbl and implants absolutely but she’s said she is trying to scale down with beauty stuff because of her daughter and how she wants to do better for her daughter basically and she does seem sincere tbh. the growth between age 17 and 27 is steep lbr.
I just looked up mounjaro and the first side affect is thyroid tumors that leads to thyroid cancer and to watch out for throat swelling…. That is terrifying. I have 30 pounds to lose and I have contemplated taking it but I’m scared I’d be in the small percentage that would have bad luck with it
talk to your doctor, not a random youtuber, please!

Sad.
Go to a weight loss specialist and ask about Phentermine. It's very cheap and effective, giving you time to reset your eating and lifestyle habits.
In Ireland, for example, doctors want to make these drugs free of charge for patients now. It's turning into policy. They are saying things like "losing weight doesn't cure obesity," but they'll go ahead and prescribe Ozempic 🤷♀️
That's actually very scary. I don't trust that at all.
I’ve heard these drugs may also help with addiction issues. This could be a game changer for some people.
that’s kinda funny considering some ppl seem to be addicted to ozempic already (ozempic dealers are a thing and for example ppl that no longer get the prescription because they are normal weight are customers)
😮
Many people have been able to titrate down and stop these drugs while maintaining their weight loss with the new healthy lifestyle.
thank you for some sanity. obesity kills so many people every year and ozempic has killed a handful. risk assessment, people!!!
i have insulin resistance and ozempic saved my life.
People think that these drugs just burn fat, which in the simplest explanation I guess it does, but forget that it has to go somewhere it doesn't just disappear
Those are all the symptoms of anorexia / extended starvation / fasting
It’s crazy, isn’t it? Would we rather be skinny and go blind or be abit chunkier and be able to see??? Your videos are full of lots of common sense and generally just being sensible and WE NEED THIS IN SOCIETY!!!!!!
Not me literally getting a semaglutide ad during this video 💀
I think you’re cherry picking examples where people have had negative side effects and ignoring ones where peoples lives have been changed for the positive. Not every drug works well for every person. I caution you not to shame people who are improving their health with these drugs.
exactly. i have insulin resistance/pcos and ozempic saves my life.

My dear Lael,
You remind me of the type of friend that is picking up the books, the book bag, the purse, the jacket the shoes, the earrings even...
You have yourself and you are all that you need."
Breaking this wildcats rage down, until she stops barefoot and dirty, mascara running, just to turn around and throws herself into your arms.
I have been on chemo for 3 years and some of the side effects are similar to ozempic. Why do people choose to have side effects? It's crazy.
Extra weight just melted off ☺️
God forbid anyone lose weight naturally these days without everybody assuming it’s GLP1.
Have you heard of inositol with folic acid? It regulates blood sugar for those with PCOS and in turn regulates our cycle. It needs to be talked about!
You can get for 250/mo delivered to door-i have friends that use fridays and it is making them lose 10-15 pounds a month. I use a compounding pharmacy locally and pay$200/mo
This is sensationalization. Can you not do the percentages? The amount of people on it versus the negative outcomes is what you look at
Am I the only one that wakes up and just sings “O o o Ozempic, yaaa knoww” while washing my face every morning
No you’re not the only one, but personally, I prefer to sing the “O, O, O, O’REILLY’s…AUTO PARTS” banger instead. Really gets me going. /s
Nah I prefer the original version, Magic by Pilot. I’m tired of medicine commercials using songs that I actually like
just sing the original song heh, oh oh ohh it's magic! you knooowwww..... ~~~
@@CLB134 you sound like such an awesome person! haha ❤️
@@StephSA08 same to you!!❤️ I love your profile pic so much. Toothless is the cutest
off topic, but i love seeing the stuffed axolotl chilling against the play button plaque. whenever i would get nervous or squeamish, i would just look at it and feel a little better!! it's probably not important, but it's just something i wanted to express for a while!!
Hey Lael! I love your videos and I think your "buccal up" pun is funny. But im surprised that for the pun you don't have a vid on buccal fat
BUCCAL UP 🗣️ gets me everytime 🤣
Haha I saw manjuaro in Chloe's fridge when she opened it the other day! BUSTED!!!
Finally! My size is back in! lol
I’m 5ft 3 1/4 inches 119lbs and no matter what I do, weight doesn’t really stick and if I try to put on weight to “get thick”lol, it only goes to my stomach of course lol never my butt or chest, rolling my eyes lol, so I just accepted that my body is gonna do what it is gonna do.
same im 5'5" 100lbs. It's natural for me but I must start working out...I gained 20lbs once just by lifting a few weights, stopped and then lost it. I feel very weak at the moment and my posture is bad. I eat super healthy and my mental health is pretty good. Changing your body is hard for anyone. It's hard work.
@ Yes. It definitely is. I’m working out too and it definitely makes me feel so much better when I do.
Sorry but if the “after”’photos are bone thin, I don’t wanna know what I’d be called
There's another hazard of Ozempic that tends to get overlooked:
*Because it's so popular for weight loss, Ozempic shortages are a reality for people who need it to manage their diabetes.*
I have a friend who has experienced this, being unable to get the medicine they need to survive because people were being prescribed the drug for weight loss. This is obviously not a great thing for diabetics.
Ok, Wegovy is the weight loss injection that’s is Ozempic renamed and rebranded as a weight loss drug we use it in Australia
