I've had it for years, and my coping mechanism for it is this - acceptance, and make "friends" with it. "I'm stuck with you, and you're stuck with me." kind of thing. During the day, I don't even notice it. At night, when I go to bed, I say "Hey, what's up" and go to bed. Sometimes I listen to it for a few seconds and get bored with it.
@@rockerbuck967 the time will come when you will go to bed, you will beg with tears, to leave you alone.. You haven't met the real tinnitus yet I think!
I find that listening to my high end headphone setup or living room system helps to me to ignore tinnitus. I do not listen loudly even though I have hearing loss. The tinnitus in my right ear was brought on by a doctor aggressive trying to remove solid wax. It never got better.
Thanks Dr, I’m using a good hearing aid, but it don’t see any difference. Can you tell me how long I should give it to at least see a small difference?
Many factors can contribute to the effectiveness of a hearing aid for managing tinnitus. The best way for us to provide a thorough answer is through a consultation to gather more detailed information. Schedule a complimentary telehealth consultation here: treble.health/consultation
You guys are the greatest, this TH-cam channel has been a life saver. About six weeks ago something happened where my tinnitus appeared out of nowhere and was very acute. Seems to be getting better, but I am going to be contacting you for treatment. Your information has been a great relief, especially during the acute stages of this to keep me from freaking out completely!
I like it how that woman says dont mask it... ahhh thats what the white noise is for. I like to go jump in the shower. put fingers in ears, and put your whole head under the shower, breathe with your mouth open and the water washing over it like a curtain, that way you can be under the water for a few minutes while breathing. It will instantly kill off the tinitus. sound cures are only a stop gap for me.

What do you eat? Because even vegetables are technically carbs
