It's stable enough for me, I just want them to introduce some sort of meaningful long term progression. Everything capped and unlocked.
True, its like a career with no progression track, you hit the cap n it’s wack! Still good live action movie gameplay, but cmon!
Play for the gameplay. If you need to be drip fed rewards then you're playing for the dopamine of unlocking stuff and not the actual gameplay. If that's the case go play a mobile game
There should be more stuff hidden behind higher level unlocks. The last stratgem you get unlocks at lvl 25. It's ok to have high lvl players be mercing low level games.
@@nocommentarygaming2644 I'm sorry I haven't been conditioned by live service games like some people have. I have every weapon, stratagem, and ship upgrade unlocked and still play daily (at least as much as my work schedule allows it). And I play for the gameplay. I just miss the days before people were trained by the game devs to chase the dopamine of battle passes and progression systems.

Can't run two mech anymore which you can only get with a high level. They lie and patch it because f the player base.
I just want something to spend my Requisition and Samples on... like skins. They shouldn't be in Warbonds.
How about just playing the game and enjoying it without having to grind for something
If they adding restriction to the kicking system, as someone that 100% hosts the game, from my 400+ hrs Only had to kick a small % they will need to add the reputation system HD1 so that there can be a filter option as well for who can join the game.
They said they're completely redoing the social system. I've kicked 1 person for inappropriate behavior, but I mainly kick people to make room for my real life friends.
I kicked people a few times because they stole my gear and refused to give it back. Also when 1 person decides to evac without the team i kick him. Any form of lack of teamwork that significantly impacts the mission i will kick the person. I think the kicking system should not be changed. I have never been kicked. If you behave yourself and work as a team, no one will kick you except people that are playing with friends.
I don't kick anyone unless they're actually brain dead. Or politically driven (rare but there)
i just want to be able to commend my fellow helldivers again. felt so nice to be the first guy to send one post mission to a cascade of commendations all around from the rest of the squad
That’s gonna be a bit flawed with the people who kick people for just not running meta or because of tiny things, once I got kicked because the host walked into my orbital barrage and decided to blame me for it.
No major updates for over a month is a massive mistake imo, not even a single new stratagem saved up for this period is just a terrible move.
I joined 2 people recently helped them with an eradicate mission but got stuck fighting a bile titan and 2 chargers. A random 4th dropped in at the end of the mission and when the first 2 got on pelican 1 I was making my way to the extract and the random that joined at the end shot me when I finally got away from the chargers and titan. Yet somehow I got kicked afterwards for calling the griefer trash 😂
i have 232 hours so far. luckily i've only had ONE griefing case. hope you have similar luck going forward.
Lol it happens, I had a guy die by me so I picked up his quasar cannon to finish the charger that was running amok. Well the guy respawned and saw me with his gun so he team killed me and died again to the same charger. I called him a dope and his friend gave me the boot.
Can we get some more progression? There’s literally no point to keep playing?
This I want so badly. I'm suspecting they'll give us qaulity patch first then more content.
Vote kick option won't work. What if 3 people playing together on Discord? I got kicked out of a game that I joined. The game went great - I had no deaths on HellDiver level and no accidentials. Never spoke in chat. While going to Extract my screen went black, and I got the "You've been kicked from the game" 40 mins wasted.... PS: if you're deep diving the Cape you need OC'd help.
Starting to think this game will never be stable. They fix something then an update comes out and then the game becomes unstable again. Rinse and repeat
It’s because it’s on an expired game engine and they have to code the files themselves. They can’t add anything or fix anything without breaking something else in the files. It will be shelved and turned off eventually.
The game engine being no longer supported really doesn’t matter that much. There are Plenty of games are on older engines, or have made their own engine to fit the needs of the game. The main thing an older engine will limit the features and functions that can be added. The crashes are code conflicts which can be caused by many things.

I think this game is done. They made their money and got out... On vacation with that money when the game is at its infancy...

500 KG needs a buff. Might as well be an Eagle Airstrike under its current state.
If your using it against heavy units then ya it's weak its not meant for heavy units its meant for clearing alot of units I say this over and over alot of the things in the game the community Saya is weak is because they don't use weapons how there post to its like taken a AA gun to take on a tank
Bile titan hitboxes are definitely glitched too. They can eat multiple expendables, 500kg’s, and quasar shots at a time but they can randomly die to a single shot from either

Nah fuck that. If I'm hosting a game I shouldn't have to leave my OWN GAME because my teammates are retarded and won't kick the guy bringing useless stratagems and weapons, or wasting 10+ lives
This one here. The host being able to kick someone while still on the ship is fine. But once you get to the game it needs to be a vote.
@@spyker_aileron thanks for explaining it, however my comment was about the bug that makes you quit the game while you are on a mission, for no reason. A bug that has been out from the launch of the game and that arrowhead can't resolve.
@@spyker_aileron no a vote will only make shit worse if the griefer is duo'd then he CANT be kicked. Same if you initiate a vote on a TK that only you saw or had it happen to you and the team will vote No cause they think youre just kicking for the fun of it . A vote to kick is absolutely not the solution.
There should be no voting option for kicking. People will kill others for not reinforcing them right on top of their body.... that will get a kick right away.
I would say you should get a certain amount of kicks per 24hr period so people will choose their kicks wisely lol

The only time I think you should kick people if they're actually ruining the game is cheating or team killing on purpose anything else is irrelevant.. people kick you for nonsense in the game like picking the wrong loadout
Lately I've preferred to abandon games in the first 10 minutes if I notice that the team is shit. And im always the host.

Speaking of colorblind, it's the reason why I stopped using color terms when referring to pins. I'm not colorblind myself, but the random thought occurred to me and since then I've just used the player's letter-number designation. Like if I find a vault, I drop a pin and say "vault at A1 pin".
The dotted yellow lines on the one cape look like simulated stitch marks. Actually a cool little detail.
I really hope that the crashes actually get fixed this time. I (and many others) won’t be able to play because of how unstable HD2 is. Ever since the spear hotfix, a massive horde of bugs came out of their holes
I gave this game a lot of my time. I moved on. I will be checking in from time to time. The primaries need to be stronger. I like the choices.
The primaries where reworked for most of them, and at the time 3/4 of them are good

Where have you been? Have you even TRIED half the primaries that got buffed??? Diligence Counter Sniper one shots every bot in the head except the berserkers, bring a spear or AMR and there’s nothing that can stop you. And if you play on bugs? Pick up the tenderizer or literally any breaker variant and you’ll clear all the chaff no problem.
I've had more issues with reckless players than griefers. People throwing an Eagle strike on a hulk I have stunned, throwing strats when I'm under the Factory Strider, throwing clusters on chargers that are chasing me, bringing mortar on bug missions, trying to shoot a charger that's chasing me with primaries on the main armor and not the butt, etc.
Geez. This studio says so much to say so little.

I can’t even play with my friends because the friends menu doesn’t let invite no one nor except friend requests and this is a co-op game.
might check and ensure that the crossplay setting is set to "on". I had mine turned off and none of the friend menus worked at all. Recently set it back to on when I was testing and the friend menu works way better. Not quite 100% with invites, but for the people I tend to play with it works great now.
Capes look perfectly fine for me in game

They should introduce ribbons or some type of milestone system that can give you rewards as well as add them on your character to show players your accomplishments
I actually thought the same thing after seeing the ribbons on the armor on the free warbonds last page
The Capes being offset only happens with Heavy Armor.
They got wider shoulders, the capes are attached differently to the body and therefore the capes are marginally wider as well,
this throws the XYZ coordinates of the default cape textures off.
Think of it like HTML, you got a background picture that starts in the top left, a transparent PNG picture (the skull) with a centered tag, it looks fine together on your screen but the moment you change your window size the Skull starts wandering around the screen.
Either all of it needs fixed XYZ coordinates or everything needs a centered tag.
And after you think you fixed it you open it in Opera instead of Firefox and it renders it completely different and GAAAAAAH.
And then it still may look off because the cape is wider...
I think it's also off on some Light armor, but vertically rather than horizontally.
Just a thought - I think we as a community should come up with our own things to do to add to the helldivers 2 experience. Something I enjoy doing is going into level 1 missions with 4 powerful support weapons and just calling the down for the new players to enjoy. I really wish we could all decide on a community culture that fosters learning and camaraderie. We have the opportunity to actually create a helpful culture that could draw in new players just as much as features and content. @glitch I really have a lot of thoughts on this and would love to talk to you about this because you seem to be one of the best people covering helldivers 2 right now. You and Eravin are my favourite creators helping the game currently.
The game literally crashes upon open as of yesterday for me. Wtf is going on with this mess
Settings are messed up just a bit yet the good news is that the menu is being reworked on and they are providing a patch this month to fix crashing.
Same here. multiple times during the day and quite too many black screens.
Verifying game files will usually fix this.
@@GlitchUnlimited they have been fixing various crashing issues every patch, i fear this is just going to be an ongoing thing.
And not all crashes are the game's fault... some people just run unstable or overclocked systems and will always blame the games that stress their systems too much instead of dialing back their VCore or whatever.
Been there done that...
I have practically no crashing issues with Helldivers II, just the random disconnects and the endless loading screen that everyone has.
Of course the game may be working better on this type of CPU or that Nvidia driver or that Windows version etc. but that is all stuff that at the end of the day you can troubleshoot yourself, locally ...just make sure every time that crash report thingy pops up that you send your crash report. The devs need actual reproducible data to work with to fix stuff... there is no magic "don't crash" subroutine in the code.
They work off telemetry, and off what they can see themselves.
Some guy on reddit bitching "the gaem is crashing all teh time!!!11oneoneeleven" isn't data they can do anything with.
They tried to make the best out of the game engine they used. It’s been abandoned since 2018 while they were in the process of making the game. They had to code the game files themselves and with no future updates for the engine itself they knew this was gonna happen. That’s why this was $40
So no new content for almost a month wow thats great exactly what the game needs rn bc player numbers are so high and stable
They're going to be coming back to work on the game _AS_ Warhammer drops. Helldivers 2 is doomed.

I've noticed the cape bug for quite a while. It's not the cape that has a problem with it's position, but the armor. It started with the FS-23 Battle Master floating cape bug. Been trying to let the devs know that capes on some armor are floating away (as well as weapons) but I've yet to get any form of acknowledgement that the devs even know there's a problem. Other times, I get ridiculed by others for pointing out that there is a steady increase in visual bugs, as a minor thing and that I should not report it, for what ever reason.
I mean, why? I like the game, less bug and better presentation is good for everyone. Me pointing out there is some problem is not tantamount to saying I want the game to fail.
Actually one of the new store armors has the shaw floating over the armor on lean build type. A loss of money on my end. Hopefully it gets fixed.
Finnally, other people finally see the glitched cape.
I was told I was seeing things when I said about this on the discord.
This glitch has to do with how the cape hangs on an armour.
Armours such as the ground breaker and most heavy armours that have the capes droop in the middle will have the capes be glitched.
Heavy armours such as the dynamo in the steeled veterans warbond don't have the glitch due to the cape hanging like how it does on most other armours.
7:55 what i also noticed similar to this is if you look at the circle for the crosshair, there's a small, faint white box around it. At least on pc.
I will never unnotice the fallen vengence skull not being centered
Be taking a break I think. Love the game but with stability and social tab issues I'm gonna jump on like of First Descendant and others. And by time come back to HD2 just hope it's better and maybe AR's are actually useable 🤣
They need to fix the infinite load screen bug right now. I get stuck in loading screen every 2-3 missions.
I think the next patch has do some favors for players. I love the gameplay here, but there is a lot that needs tweaking and so far I have lost interest. Even if the developers are taking their vacation (which they deserve) I am hearing that there will be no new warbond, no new content, and no "big patches" for a while which has killed my interest in the game. There isn't much to keep playing for and I think numbers will drop significantly over the next month.
Yeah they keep slowing down, but also provide no olive branch as a means to appease players, last patch only took longer, but still turned out broken and underwhelming. So yeah, people will just leave, I have like 200 hours and I am pleased with that, but I ain't gonna play until some freshness is introduced.
Awesome job man. I really love the game. The only thing is that I've Maxed out with samples for months and have nothing to spend them on. I really wish they would implement something on using the samples soon 'cause it kind of stinks going through runs and not really being able to gather any more samples when you're maxed out.
There are no lines around the logo on my capes, might be a graphical setting/driver issue? I also checked the alignment and it was perfect on mine with the light armor I wear no matter what cape I use. Like someone else said, though, with heavy armor it appears that the alignment is off a bit like you showed. No square around the logos at all though.
This is on a new Playstation 5. I'd say sony problems lol
@@GlitchUnlimited Oh, okay... yeah there's lots of bugs with the game, I love it and still play after being maxxed out level 150, but even if it was a graphical issue I'd say it was the fault of the programming most likely anyway.

The cape has to be a bug. the cape preview even shows it centred.

Hopefully they fix the flamethrower reloading sometimes glitching out and using multiple tanks if it's reload is interrupted. Had it use up 3 tanks once when I auto-vaulted, got rag-dolled and then stunned/interrupted by hunters all mid animation.
The cape thing has been around for a long while. Its on certain Heavy Armors, Especially the Polar ones. Any armor that has a larger profile more or less.
Im still getting social bugs....
Recent and request menus are jacked up and its bedn like that since the big update
The only map that’s slow on frame rate is on the jungle map that’s recently added part of the commando war bond one.
I think they should add custom optics/iron sights and camos for support and regular weapons that you use samples/requisition to unlock. I've been maxed out on everything even since the new mech came out and even before that.

FR, I went back to Breakpoint. I used to HATE that game, but after seeing how far the bar has been dropped for gaming.. It's actually really fun in comparison.

We’re not going to see a warbond this month or maybe even next, they did say they wanted to spend more time on them and would not release them monthly after the Viper Commondos
and if viper cammandos is the bench mark for warbonds from here on they are screwed never buying one again
@@bruhwatermark5439 tbh the viper commandos isn’t too bad, we got skins for the pelican and mechs (the pods is pretty whatever), imo that’s pretty cool, as for the weapons idc if they’re bad, the shotgun pistol is actually pretty clutch at times
Love how common sense company or government policies/regulations in Europe are being so much discussed :D It is summer, people are taking vacations. Most people do it this way. Of course the company usually tries to arrange so that people are not leaving for their vacation at the same time so there is overlap. Should be a one sentence about things slowing down due to summer and that it :)
This game is great , love it vary little issues . As well the dev team are staying in touch and always working hard to improve everything showing their love for what they made.
Regarding the capes, (i use the creek cape) i never noticed due to how often and consistently its flapping about. But as soon as you showed the cape without movement i noticed immediately. The skull was not always off kiltered, it was centered and now that i see it i cant unsee it.
My head canon is that the sick super earth kids made the capes after we saved them hence the jank, but yet we still wear them, while obviously not true it makes that soul crushing off center feel less cruahing.

Arrowhead already made it far bigger with HD2 than they ever expected. They already got paid. They have no reason to care about fixing it anymore.

The Warbond weapons are supposed to be more powerful in my opinion. You are buying them after all. Its sad that most of the other weapons feel like they either don’t do damage or have too little amo capacity

Also, i had an attempt griefer the other day, & it was hilarious, so im sharing. Hope you get a kick out of it. Me & 2 friends were in a squad, and this random guy joins. We do the mission and the objectives, grabbed the supers, called evac, and three of us got in, but rando decided he wanted to kill us, pulls out his grenade pistol, aims at us....and bounces the grenade off the door frame on the back of pelican and it bounced directly back at him, killing him instantly. I blocked him after we all laughed at him.

I have a respawn bug now , sometimes my team cant respawn me so I have to leave the game

the weird white lines on the capes have been there for a long time, im talking about a few months now. kinda suprised ppl are just starting to see them now.
I do hope they will add saber from the first game or at least a bayonet. We have ways of increasing melee damage but no melee weapons
I got one better with capes. I have a physics glitch with them where every time I step in the Hellpod, the physics flip out and the cape flies up in the air. Happens to every player cape in sight.

Funny at first but a little immersion breaking so think after the change of tack and successful Big Patch, I'm gonna pass on some bug report info to AH next week
Very strange about the capes; I just checked mine closely (I wear both of these often) and neither show the alignment issue of the skull or the outline around the viper logo. I play on PC btw.
And I'm really glad they are dialing back all the warbonds; their initial pace was unsustainable and would only lead to tons of pointless/redundant items just for the sake of shoving content out there on some forced timeframe. Also, imagine brand new players coming in with this endless scrolling page of warbonds not understanding where to start or what they actually need.
Wouldn’t make a lot of sense I mean, I get it. You know it’s an American holiday but imagine a big update on Fourth of July.
Freedom explosions guns it all kind of fits the divers theme
I wish they would add cosmetics like in titanfall 2, certain milestones unlock them. Like a bug killer cape from killing like a 50k/100k bugs would be cool.

Oh no, capes are bugged.. yet still nobody complaining about all the rigging issues with the armors that make the capes float, pieces that should be attached to the chestpiece moving around, the god awful shoulder on a couple of outfits if you use the lean body... been this way since the armors were added.
i do like the idea of vote to kick, many of my games when we are going to get on the shuttle, the host kicks us all off so that we dont benefit from the samples
We need to push Cyberstan while they are on vacation! Ignore the major orders! Maybe we can force them to open Cyberstan or a boss.
Sounds to me like there won't be anything of significance happening with the game this month.

I would not expect Upscaling until around the time the PS5 Pro hits.
Sony's developing a PlayStation Upscaling apparently based on FSR, specifically to boost the PS5 Pro, and I can't see how Sony would allow HD2 to go without.
And it's a fairly reasonable thing to parachute some expert backup in to get it implemented.

I think I'd rather have a new challenge in the game than a new warbond. Like how about a mission where we can set up and build a compound to fight off incoming waves. Like setting up defence systems and such. Or a construction mission where we can help citizens build compounds on recently liberated planets. Can set up defence structures to reduce the rate of a planet being attacked again

I'm fine with no Warbond for a while. In trade I'd rather have more game modes or mission types to chew on so we can get more situations to try more loadouts with what we currently have. Then work on the Warbond while we chew on that content.

There is no way to stop kicks without making griefing impossible to punish. These are mutually exclusive and the system we have is the best.
Voting to kick is a terrible idea because griefers come in groups. This is going to be so stupid.
Great video king! I won't lie, I've done my share of complaining. But I have full trust in the Devs for future updates. This game is for me at least, the best horde shooter out there and I love this genre to bits.
Ngl i havent got kicked in ages the only time i have got kicked is when farming for samples when the evacuate essential personal missions were still in the game and when people didnt know how it worked
The only players who give me the urge to kick are the ones that start the evacuation early lol while I'm looking for stuff or completing side mission.

The issue with kicking is this. Griefers can come in pairs or more. I was playing with a buddy of mine and 2 randoms joined. We played a mission and they were chill but then started griefing the second mission. Killing us and not reinforcing etc. My friend just kicked them because we aint dealing with that. We took the no extraction penalty because its better then letting them get awarded for being assholes.
If a vote system was in place then we wouldn’t be able to kick them. Im not sure what solution could be used but it is an issue that needs solving. Maybe a flag system? Where a user must receive 2 flags for actions such as team killing before they can be kicked. IDK

They gotta do something with cheaters. Last week i got matched up with a cheater and bro started spamming orbital walking barrage for like 6-7 of them in one go. His AR Liberator has infinite ammo and oneshot bile titan and charger. His shield backpack cant be broke too.
The bug that pisses me off is joining a random game and then getting trapped in the loading screen.
