This is probably the only issue with which I disagree with Ben Shapiro. I love the guy but I do not share his overall opinion on Russia and the Syrian crisis.
I am actually on Syria's and Russia's side on this one. I think Americans are falling for the same crap for the second time. This is Sadaam and WMDs all over again with the difference being that with Sadaam, at least the US tried to present evidence to the UN regarding the existence of those WMDs. This time we just accuse Assad of using chemical weapons with zero evidence except our word. There has been no investigation whatsoever but somehow we are selling it as a fact that Assad actually used Serin on his own people. As if everyone should just take the word of the USA to be the gospel truth.
Hate Assad all you want but he had NOTHING to gain from this. Nothing at all. In fact this is the most stupid thing he could have done. I doubt the man is that dumb so please spare me the crap people. The story by the Russians and Syrians is that the rebels were the ones with the chemical weapons, Syria got rid of its stockpiles in 2013. And even with the previous chemical attack that we blamed on Assad, it was proved that it was actually the rebels that the west supports that used chemical weapons. But of course that wasn't mentioned in the west. Typical.
Russia and Syria are fighting ISIS and the rebels in Syria. That fact is that, if you are a sovereign country, the law does not allow militias. If people decided to take up arms in Texas and get into an armed conflict with the government, then it is the duty of the government to crush those militias. In this case, those militias would be the rebels in Syria that the government is trying to crush and the west's support for those rebels is the equivalent of Russia supporting armed militias in the USA!
Russia is the only foreign power operating in Syria legally. The USA, Turkey, Israel and others are not in Syria with permission from the UN or via official invitation by the Syrian government, only Russia is. Let's get the facts straight here.

Ben is such a disappointment when it comes to US foreign policy...
Key part from Ben: "There are nasty forces in the world from Iran and Russia, who are interested in maximizing their own power at the expense of US POWER, and that's really were US interests lie here, NOT IN THE HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS...". So, basicaly anyone who stands in the way of US global imperialism, even in his own defence, is a nasty power. The US have legitimate interests all around the world, but Russians cannot have legitimate interests ON THEIR BORDERS.
Ben's moto - Whatever is good for Israel is good for the US.

+Mario and Wes - - "small government" is a guideline and not an absolute ideology. Obviously Ben, along with all reasonable people, want police, military, emergency personnel, good roads/bridges, etc while still holding a pro-small government position. It's called common sense. You are making a mistake if you think that this makes Trump an interventionist hawk...he had a few dozen rockets fired at an airfield...at some equipment. We aren't invading Syria. Isolationism sounds cool and offers the opportunity to virtue signal until the cows come home, but once you are captaining the ship, funny how real life and real situations surface that force you beyond your rhetoric.

He never said foreign aid is bad... And military action a specific duty of the president. Also, if anyone had to chose, we would ALL chose to live under the Israeli regime then any other government in the region. At least western democracy reigns in Israel... cant say the same about Palestine.

This segment sounds like corporate media 2.0 which is a BIG red flag when considering the subject matter.
Speaking succinctly doesn't make breaking international law justifiable nor does being new on the job. Given the US track record of creating pretext for military aggression (WMD's, incubator babies, the first Assad gas attack to name a few) we should at least hold them up to international law i.e. go to the UN and do the investigation, especially considering that Syria does not pose even a remote threat to America.
With minimal effort if you look outside western and corporate media there is evidence that Assad is largely supported by the Syrian people, the White Helmets are western funded corporate media tools who are largely unknown to Syrian's and the so called "moderate" rebels are supported by the west.
