Having worked in a plastic injection factory I can say it’s 99% not fiberglass and like he said probably mold release if anything. Wash your kits people and wear gloves if you are worried
@@Demoncradle I'm not I didn't have any issues ( also have the official release) it did smell the black and L/M gray . I think it's just a chance for Internet to be xenophobic about China and manufacturing
it's a 3rd party kit, people need to manage their expectations. It comes in a PG Unicorn sized box, that's how much plastic there is. While taste is subjective, it's a pretty good design. If Bandai ever made something like this, it would cost 6X more. The HG Nightingale from Bandai costs about as this but it isn't as detailed. So what if it's copied from the Artifact line? Bandai 100% had the choice to release those designs in 144 or 100 scale, but they didn't. For an experienced builder, this is a good value. But for people who don't want to deal with the issues that come commonly with 3rd party or KO kits, just stick with Bandai
@@knightsljx I like the kit I do wish the inner frame fitment was a little better and the light gray soft plastic does suck. I think the kit is an average of 7/10 but for presence is 10/10 I also like what it looks like. I like the design of this a lot better than the re100 and hg. Also I just hate hgs
I mean that's not a model kit but ig they follow the design versus the original line art . I'm glad they followed the artifact 1 kit cause I'm not a fan of the original design I prefer the sazabi.
So where's the problems? IP? As far as i'm concern, the inside is still design by them. If you stress about 3rd party redesign kit that much, tell Bandai to do it
@@lib-modelkitfigure Cool, report to Bandai then, see what they'll do I know your shop and your agenda, you just detest Chinese kit producer Even if they have original ideas
definitely the mold release agent so it is a good practice to wash the kits both bandai and 3rd party and bootlegs, some people can be sensitive to the release agent and most people are not
Thanks for the review as I Char fanboy. Did you buy this kit and your Solomon from Gundamnit? I'm still waiting on my GP02 to arrive, I'm wondering if very long wait time are normal as that was my first purchase from Gundamnit.
Just by saying the inner frame grey part stink kinda confirm that they use a petroleum like product to make the plastic. Likely the cause of some people having allergic reactions to it. Other than that….damn sexy kit but will wash it with dish soap and scrub with brush. That would take care of any mold release or any petroleum residue it may have.
@@ShinDragon yeah local stores really have a big mark up. Luckily our group has someone that we can pre order from so i got my 3rd party kits really cheap
Did it have any waterslides in the box? "Pre-production sample" reviewers mentioned that retail version gonna feature the decals + improvements to the kit. Seems like the improvements are insignificant, if at all present, and I'm yet to see any real person photos of the model with decals applied, or at least pictures of the sheet. Most taobao/ali sellers don't specify waterslides being included either. Also... do you have a scale? Can you weigh this guy? The binders alone must weigh a ton..
iam gonna airbrush the shit out of it . sexy kit . bandai´s low detailed stuff cant compare to it. same with the solomon phsyalis. such a nice detail to a kit. love it ! and btw . the white plastic of my phsylis solomon got really dirty after i put it out of the bag. dont know what caused it. but i was being able to clean it away. and yeah the eternal glory was great BUT it has really soft plastic, even daban has better plastic :x in era has some really great kits to or moto nuclear
Arguably quality. Parts not fitting, being too tight that it stresses the kit or too loose. You also have missing parts that can't be properly replaced alongside plastic quality. It all varies and while Bandia kits do occasionally have these issues, you run into more with this kinda of stuff. As for more personal reasons. It's a lack of interest in the design. Why would I buy some overly designed and engineered kit when I can get the high grade. Why get a not Nightingale when you have the real Nightingale. While I enjoy third party accessories and expansion parts, I have no interest in their full on kits like this. Cause I have no care for it. I'd rather see them make something truly original and put effort into something original, than yoink a design from a candy toy line.

Correction, ONE person has claimed the plastic issue. Not 'some' people, it is exactly one singular person.

It comes in a WHAT?!
My only issue with this is that it loses a lot of the opening hatches and I think that loses its status of RG .
well it also doesnt have the dual plastic color but its kinda similar to the rg sazabi. Its def not a high grade but i do feel its missing something.
