Honestly if your not towing heavy then you should not buy a diesel. They may be better for value but your going to pay much more in the long run on maintenance. Plus Diesel trucks are not the best to be driving as daily driving vehicles from going short distances like to the grocery store or the mall and if you live in a cold environment it’s even worse. But hey it’s up too you what you really want. I bought the 19 PW and love it. I used to own a 2500 Laramie Diesel truck. Glad I made the changed because now I have less maintenance to deal with. Don’t get me wrong though I love Diesel but i don’t need it for what I do.
I'm leaning PW myself but I would love to see a side by side comparison of apples to apples. PW and a Laramie with the 6.4 and the offroad package. Ben comparing the diesel to the gas just isn't a fair comparison for sure.
@@screamingchicken83 buy the diesel and mod it for off roading. All you really need are good shocks and a different front bumper and you'd never know the difference. I had a PW and while its a beast, the 6.4 is/was a thirsty joke. Yes i traded mine for a diesel and will never go back.

The Power Wagon is a nich vehicle. Purposely built for off-roading. Diesel is great at towing and hauling and built for that reason. You have a VERY heavy engine hanging over that front axle on the diesel. Lighter front end on the Power Wagon. Axle articulation on the PW way better than the Cummins truck again by design. For off-roading and comfort and utility design, Ram Power Wagon hands down. Plus less maintenance costs.
i agree. unless you’re a rancher or your job/hobby requires a lot of hauling you dont need that diesel. that being said unless you plan on traveling off road you really dont need a powerwagon as well lol but the powerwagon is cool so i would still get it 💀
I do alot more offroading than towing so I would get the PW. But the Laramie is nice too. I think a diesel engine would be too heavy for offroading, maybe that's why the PW doesn't have a diesel?
Look for dealerships that offer lifetime powertrain warranty, I have a couple in Kansas and Missouri, just gotta look around, there are very few dealerships that offer lifetime bumper to bumper warranties

I have a 19 Power Wagon, dark crystal granite. I realize this is his opinion, but it's not really a fair comparison. If your are towing heavy loads, buy the Cummins. If you want an offroad machine, buy the Power Wagon. The power Wagon can tow, just not as much as the Cummins, I tow a 7000lb travel trailer with an ATV in the box no problem. I did install airbags to help with the load. Power Wagon tows like a champ. Pass everything but a gas station.

If the Power wagon came with any other engine choice or maybe dropped 20K price wise it would be better. The big 6.4L is a joke on mileage for the crap power it offers. Put an eco diesel or even teh 5.7 and they would sell themselves. Outside of the horrible engine choice the PW is a beast offroad, but ill never buy another one because of it. I much prefer my 2500 diesel with some mods. Other then the sway bar (which might i add never worked most of the time anyways) its a much better ride and functionality.
For off-Road the Powerwagon. Sure you got a lot of torque from a diesel but you give some capability when you consider how much more weight you're moving. The powerwagon has a locking front diff and disconnecting sway bars. That right there makes it more capable, then you have a 12k lbs winch in front.
Can you fit the disconnecting swaybar on the limited edition with a 8" bed? Along with differential locks and the guidelines on the cameras would be ultimate 😁 But is it possible? Or is it already done by someone?
Silly me, I somehow though that you would actually drive them! So misleading!! Hard to tell how they do off road when you are just looking at features!! Cummins hands down! How is the HK stereo, I've heard mixed reviews and someone even said that noise cancellation interferes with stereo??

I have a 2019 2500 limited diesel. It’s more capable than a power wagon after upgrades because the diesel has so much torque and the weight helps it stay gripped to the ground.

But again I have two recommendations: first, use a thesaurus and discover some synonyms for the word “little” as you tend to describe everything as “little”. Or simply omit the word “little” from your vocabulary. Second, take 20 seconds and remove the vertically stowed floor mats before you show a backseat. It’s remarkable how much more your video can showcase without a bunch of stuff in the way. Cheers

What you failed to mention is the Diesel is 1000 pounds heavier versus the HEMI.
And a whole lot more expensive, and not suited for off roading.

If you're gonna do any towing the power wagon will suck because it's a gasser and the suspension is made for offroad not towing.

I have a 2019 Ram Laramie 2500 off road heavy duty with the Cummins and mine came with the large screen.
Typically any level 2 package will get it but you can also option it on the higher end models.
