Who else is keeping traditional music alive on any general public media weekly?
Alex is the best
I just learned so much (and love this stuff-- so ethereal and cool). I think I understand more now what Caoimhin O Raghallaigh is doing these days. And wouldn't it be great to hear the amazing Alex Hargreaves and C O' R on the same stage, thinking with Thomas Bartlett. anyhoo thanks Alex this is such yummy good stuff
“Take care of that soul buddy”-Chris
Isn't there a miss-spelling here? I don't know the tune, but I'd expected it to be called "forskarlen" (roughly meaning "the man of the river" in Swedish).
Well played, though.
You are onto something there Rikard... according to Google Translate, forskalen means "research integers" LOL
Good call - we got the music credits secondhand, and we were having trouble finding that one. Now we know why!
In norwegian it's fossekallen
Can you spell the swedish fiddle tune correspondents name?
Lena Jonsson!
Vegans may wish to commence at 2:44 to avoid horrid goat and mutton references! ;)
