    The instrumentation in this version gives it more of a conventional feel, which makes me value the Punch Brothers version that much more... all the textures made solely by string instruments. I really love this version though, it was a nice surprise.

    I had the incredible privilege to hear this in concert-- It was both neat because they did it without mics and the sound resonated throughout the theater, but also unfortunately pretty quiet and hard to hear : ( But still a beautiful experience, and an amazing show.

      EPA Sketch they did that in Melbourne Aus as well and it was amazing

      I got to be in the 4th row for this: it was incredible, jaw droppingly dynamic, and I wondered how the rest of the theater would even hear it. This recording only does it half a justice, but probably way better than being more than a few rows back.
