This song used to make me cry sad tears everytime I heard it. When I heard Stan and The Levites sing it the first time, I was floored! I literally felt the hand of God on my shoulder and even he was crying tears of rebirth, forgiveness, peace, love, happiness and overwhelming joy!!!
I love Stan Walker, his mission and the path he is forging through his gifts and the amazing talents of his friends and family ❤❤❤

Stan grew up singing in church, so his soul is innate and shines brightly when he sings. His own adversities have given him extra! Then the voice alone, is magic. He is one of my all time favourite singers and gets better as he ages.

Love this cover of amazing grace, the way Stan sings it makes me emotional it just hits different. Yes your right it’s so beautiful. That surrender part at the end he added on not part of the original song it’s one of his own songs. You also gotta check out John Farnhams rendition of this song back in the days with his back up singers it’s incredible too

What always stood out for me with Stan, was his rendition of Hallelujah when he competed in Australian Idol 2009 and subsequently won...it was a bit shaky in the beginning of the song but the end made up for everything...always a fan of Stan, thank you
BTW he put out a book exposing that as a youngster he was interferred with by an older trusted family member, its also known that his parents in his younger days were drug dealers, he has had stomach cancer and his parents along with him turned their lives around and gave their soul to the Lord...but this year, the ultimate happened he had his beautiful baby ...absolute blessing

Actually I am sure David would LOVE to hear Stan. David is AWESOME but he was a Vocal Performance major. Stan has this with no training. I'm not in any way belittling David Phelps because he is a phenomenal singer. I just feel that he and the Gaither Vocal Band would be blown away also by Stan. Because they all appreciate great voices.
