Those background singers , are so appropriately named - They definitely set a standard. I've NEVER heard just 3 people sing so powerfully, that they sound like a full choir. It's soooo beyond amazing!. The harmonies...the phrasing...the enunciation, and intonation - is ridiculous!!!

@@m.l.b.2908 For some reason there's been a mix up with the title of his song 'I Surrender' being labeled 'Amazing Grace' the songs actual title is 'I surrender.' Not the same song @ Hillsong although there's a video of him singing his song 'I Surrender' at a Hillsong Conference.
The song is a medley of gospel songs hence why it’s not just the standard Amazing Grace lyrics!

Speaking of backing singers, there's a really awesome documentary called "20 Feet From Stardom". Has some absolutely amazing vocals of singers who could easily be the front singers but never really got the same recognition they deserved except in a few cases. The final group song showcases their talent and brings a tear to my eyes.

You are right, you have never heard amazing grace loke this before, the original has 5 or so verses and these add ons Stan uses are not in the original,however, his blending and inclusion of the lyrics, musicians, and the levites are in itself "Amazing"

I love this! Not sure if you have but Vince Harder and Stan Walker have actually multiple songs together. Their Valentines Day Medley is def one of my faves super effortless. Also you should listen to How Great Thou Art with Stan Walker its a medley of POWERFUL major Māori singers that is the most beautiful tribute ever.
