    🔔 Please CLICK THE BELL if you want to see my videos! 🔔
    This one is a Condition Zero holster and seat bracket that I picked up from Team Tech Offroad. They make them for 4-door and 2-door JKs, but they are different.
    teamtechoffroa...
    Easily bolts directly to existing seat bracket bolts
    Mounts at a 22 degree angle towards driver (Passenger side available in 0* angle only).
    Extra slot for spare mag or flashlight
    Universal Nylon Holster is included
    Fits a variety of pistol sizes from .380 to 9mm to 45cal
    However, you can add your favorite holster if you choose.

    THANK YOU for addressing people that have issues with guns WITHOUT making fun of them. That's a sad rarity these days. It's always, "If you don't like guns, then you're a pussy!", rather than, "Your thing isn't my thing, and that's okay." which is how it SHOULD be.
    Anyway... I'm an random internet stranger, and I award you 1 "Internet Cool Point" for being a decent and understanding human being.

    Do you keep it covered with a black wash cloth so that no one looking in from the passenger side window, or any trucks that pass you on the right side can't see the gun? The grips help it to stand out against the dark interior.

    You can also use the plastic piece on the thumb retention to adjust the hook and loop if you don’t have a popsicle stick.

    Looks good, thanks for the video. I think a level 2 safariland or similar bolted to that would do great. However it would add some costs and not be good for the folks that swap carry guns.

    I have an install video on this mount as well, I agree with you when you said if your on the trails and want a place to store it on long rides it comes in clutch! On a day to day use on my daily driven Wrangler I do not use it, but the trails we see here in south Florida often times you come on wild boar or alligators so it is nice to always have it within a hands reach and not in a glove box or center console where seconds matter. Great video.

    a level one serpa holster can easily be attached to inside of center console. where its easily accessable but also securable when you cant carry into a certain establishment but have it with you. Also dont like the holster in view so no advertising when Im not in the Jeep of someone breaking in to try and find my piece

    • @joedaniels9022

      Dan M Blackhawk holster with the quick disconnect also fits perfectly in the center console.👍

    • @DanMcD80
      @DanMcD80 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Joe Daniels good idea if you have different sidearms you carry. I use just one for my carry so that extra bump out didnt make sense for me. I got my idea from someone who screwed the molle adapter from inside the console. I just took the tray out and screwed the holster to it from inside the console to make the fit as tight as possible to loose least space possible in the cubby

    • @Doberman144
      @Doberman144 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Friends don't let friends use serpa holsters .. If you get any debris in the locking mechanism it will lock your firearm in the holster and you will have hell getting it out .. If the weapon has a round in the Chambers you have a serious problem ..

    • @DanMcD80
      @DanMcD80 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Doberman144 obviously you dont know what a level 1 holster is. its a friction fit only with no mechanical retention. Also if you maintain your gear on a level 2 or 3 that is not an issue

    How hard to get a carry permit In Maryland? I live in WV and avoid Maryland because they are so unfriendly to out of state permit holders

    • @DanMcD80
      @DanMcD80 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      tom armstrong you would have to apply for a non-resident carry permit and be able to itterate in great detail why you feel the need to carry in or thru the state. as well as getting a background check and proof of a proficiant handling and shooting class

    • @o3djeeps
      @o3djeeps  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah Maryland is one of the most gun-unfriendly States I've ever lived. For the average person it's nearly impossible to get a permit. The only people I've seen who have been able to do it without some sort of a law enforcement tie are business owners who carry large amounts of cash and can justify for business safety.

    • @scowiland

      You'd stand a better chance of winning the lottery multiple times. MD is incredibly austere when it comes to issuing carry permits, they also do not honor reciprocity what so ever.

    Looks like a solid product with a simple install. I have thought about this a few times. As you stated a long drive or wheeling with a holstered firearm isn't the most comfortable thing in a Jeep. Being 6'3 and 265lbs certainly doesn't help either. I'm not 100% sure how Mass laws would cover this but I'm going to do a little research and call our clubs legal rep. Thanks for the video!

  • @mikem6539

    Don't do this in Florida. Florida law requires, if not on your person as a CCW holder, the firearm to be in a six sided box that is closed. That's all it says. You can put it in a cereal box on your front seat if you want, so long as it has six sides and it's closed. If it's a holster installed in the Jeep, you can be charged with a crime. Unlikely, but possible. For all the naysayers, Florida is a SHALL issue state. Which means the state must have a compelling reason NOT to issue a CCW. Otherwise, so long as you're not a felon, don't have an injunction, and you have a pulse, you get a CCW.

    • @isoawe1888
      @isoawe1888 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mike M not sure that container clause is true for CCW holders, just for others in car carry.

      Not many people carry 1911 these days. Most Police Departments no longer allow them because the cocked and locked firearm is to shocking to the public. I started carrying this in the mid 90s before my Dept added a new policy against it. I was grandfathered so I could continue to carry it. I also carried Glocks... Great guns. I also shot some competition stuff... And the 1911 was perfect for that.

    • @o3djeeps
      @o3djeeps  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      bryan wiccedone just to clarify, I would never leave a firearm in this holster if I am not in the seat next to it. It either goes into a lockbox or goes with me when I leave the Jeep.

    • @solveetcoagula1891
      @solveetcoagula1891 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      o3djeeps [ OVERCLOCK3D Jeeps ] oh I am the same way. But a visible holster is still temptation to someone. I have the best top lock boxes under my seats that I keep mine in when I am at work. But i still stay leery due to idk how hard the boxes are to break into... I guess all I am saying is I dont like to add to temptation of those who are of nefarious behavior.
