    I pursued my Master's degree in London and resided there from 2010 to 2013 under the Post-Study Work (PSW) visa. Now, I'm considering relocating, but this time to Ireland.

    Hii Rhea!! Thank you so much for making such an informative video on Ireland. I have completed my bachelors in India and want to pursue Masters in USA or Ireland. My end goal is not to find a permanent residency or a long term settlement in the country which I'll be moving to for my masters, but want to come back to India as quickly as possible (probably right after clearing all the loans). As we know that in this scenario, people generally opt for USA but can you tell me if it is possible in Ireland as well. How easy/difficult it is to move back to your original place right after completing your education in Ireland?

    • @Escapingrheality

      Hey Shivam, i believe its fairly easy to return to India from Ireland if you like. Its a good place for experience, and cheaper than US! Masters is usually just a year here, so should be easy to return! 😊

      Hey, glad you liked it! At the moment, there are 4 kinds of work visas:
      Critical Skills Employment Permit: For highly skilled workers in occupations where there is a demand for skills in the Irish labor market.
      General Employment Permit: This permit is for occupations with an annual salary below a certain threshold and not covered by the Critical Skills Employment Permit.
      Intra-Company Transfer Permit: For employees of multinational companies who are being transferred to the company's Irish branch.
      Dependant/Partner/Spouse Employment Permit: Allows the spouses, partners, and dependents of Critical Skills and General Employment Permit holders to work in Ireland.
      The eligibility criteria varies for each and you can find more info here: www.irishimmigration.ie/coming-to-work-in-ireland/what-are-my-work-visa-options/applying-for-a-long-stay-employment-visa/employment-visa/#how

    I noticed that people who graduate with a masters degree are earning around 30k to 40k euros annually. Financial times puts the salary 3 years after graduation range around 95k usd. I do not know how accurate it is. Are you observing the same figures I have mentioned in this comment?

    • @Escapingrheality

      Hey, so people with no experience usually start at 30-40k euros, and based on degree, domain and industry, can earn maximum up to 120K euros here in Ireland. Mid experience salaries are between 50 to 90K here!

    • @Escapingrheality

      Hey, I had a good experience with Fateh! They help with everything related to your application. They also conduct quite a few pre-departure events in various cities, where you can meet other students who are going to the same college/course! It's good to know a few people before you move, and you can also find people to share accommodation with!

    Hi Rhea, can you talk about finance course in ireland? Is there 2 years masters course or only 1 year masters in the field of finance? I know i have to research my own but if you would have an idea then you can share it aswell. Also i heard that getting job after masters is difficult? Your views on that? Also were you able to explore or get settle with the ireland culture also the course , since 1 year is too fast i felt.

    • @Escapingrheality

      Hi, its usually a one year course in finance in a full time masters program!

    • @Escapingrheality

      As for job, its easier for people with prior work experience. 1 year course is actually better cost wise, and you can apply for a job sooner and recover your investment. As for the culture, it wasn’t diffult as Ireland is quite multi cultural and has many Indians so easy to find people from your community!
