Very balanced, genuine feedback for the prospective students. Learning the basic life skills is primary..and most of the privileged few ( at least from India) might want to take a leaf from your experience. 🤞
Hi Reah...i recently started watching your videos and its really informative and i really like it..i just need one suggestion like which one wud be a good option to move on a work permit basis or on an academic basis?
Are there opportunities available for journalists? Specifically in Sports journalism. Could you suggest a university that offers sports journalism or journalism? For journalism should I come here or the UK, or the USA would be a better choice?
Hi Rhea! I am planning to pursue my MBA from UCD/TCD. I have around 6+ years of experience. I pan to continue in the niche that I am in and use the MBA to move into a more managerial/leadership role. I've done a bit of research and there seems to be a good availability of my specific profile (atleast in dublin). Do you still think that I would need to spend around 4-5 years to build a career there too? To maintain the life style my salary allows me, i would have to earn an equivalent of around 80k out there. I'm mentally prepared to cut back on a lot of that in order to build a life in Ireland, but starting from scratch does sound like a tiresome process.
Hie Rhea, I just completed my bachelors in hotel management and I am kind of thinking to change my industry line up, and also planning to pursue my masters from Ireland, but I am confused what course would be good to switch, after doing some research I narrowed down to courses like Masters in international business/ management or masters in marketing. What do you think about this?
What would you say are the prospects for an international student in finding a job in public relations and communications, with a masters from UCD and 9 years of work experience?
Hey! Usually it requires local experience but if you have good brands you have worked with, then you could look at working with agencies. However, brand manager roles are usually limited and locals are preferred. You should definitely have good digital marketing skills as well as PR and Communication may not be a enough 😀
@@Escapingrheality thank you for your reply. that’s informative and helpful. And thank you for your insightful videos as well. I’m currently trying to decide between New Zealand and Ireland, and it’s quite the battle.
Great video and advice. I'm Irish & hope you continue to prosper 🙏.
