There is a clever foreshadow of this in the last season. When amenadiel and linda are discussing potential baby names, she suggests "Michael" and amenadiel immediately and forcefully says no. Nice bit of set up for the character amd their relationship even before his reveal
That's a bunch of internet BS like the "logan dying with his heart in his hand" bit. That line was just a nod to amenadiels character in the comics. Comic Michael was turned into TV amenadiel and that was the intended joke.
Ain’t that why it’s called foreshadowing and not “here’s the exact reason why Michael’s a bad name for our baby”? Sure the comics joke is probably the main reason, but I think it’s fairly likely they had the Michael idea by that point
22:30 they did in fact establish the time difference between earth and hell back in season one! When Malcolm died and Amenadiel revived him he talked to him sometime afterwards saying something like " I bet the 30 seconds of death felt like 30 years in hell" or something to that effect. So yeah, that is a thing.
Wish they took notes like some other reactors so they understand things.
That they did, lol i came to say that and saw you already did
90 Days = 7,776,000 Seconds/Years
@@kingofnonation5843 they do Rana normally does it
You've actually heard Tom Ellis's American accent twice before: first, in the season 1 finale, when Chloe is rushing off to rescue Trixie, and he uses a megaphone to briefly stop her, and second, in season 2 when he decides he's going to "become Dan."
Do you remember in S4 when Linda and Amenadiel were choosing names for their baby? Linda suggested Michael, and Amenadiel's response was "definitely not Michael"... now we know why.
Tom Ellis starred in a show called "Rush" right before Lucifer. On that show he spoke with an American accent all the time because he was a doctor in LA.
his impersonation of the evil twin is so good that everyone ended up hating Michael.
S5 was supposed to be the final season of Lucifer. Netflix does not usually make series of more than 4 seasons, but the global success of the S4 and S5 was so great that Netflix requested a S6.
MIchael is the Sword of god and Lucifer is the Poison. Oh another fun fact, Tom Ellis has a twin in real life. Her name is LUCY lol
Tom Ellis was in a show called Rush that lasted one season where he played an American doctor. Check it out, it wasn’t bad. Rush getting canceled made Tom available to audition for Lucifer. If it hadn’t, someone else would have been Lucifer. Can’t even imagine what that would look like.
Tom Ellis does an AMAZING American Accent. He was on a show that was pretty much this one called Rush where he was a doctor. He made Michael's voice Nasally on purpose for folks to hate it lol
I love seeing Amenadiel change soo much. In the beginning he hated Lucifer like Micheal but now he has his back 100%. There brotherly love is amazing.
Amenadiel was against Luci for different reasons.
Ella taking off her shoe so fast and beating lucifer with it reminds me of those TikTok videos 😆
Idk if you ever seen behind the scenes, but the actress Chloe actually seems to act a lot more like that Vending Machine scene which is kinda funny considering her characters seriousness.
Behind the scenes Chloe acts like Lucifer, and Lucifer acts like Chloe.
Maze felt betrayed by everyone she’s met now her and Michael teamed up to mess with the people who hurt her.
I thought maybe Maze might smell a different scent on Michael since he spent more time in the Silver City and not Hell, but maybe not. Loved Ella's first response to seeing "Lucifer" again.
i don't know why this was such a pleasant experience with just these three lol they were more focused and the discussion was great.
Lucifer is also an archangel
Tom Ellis did his thing (but then again so did everyone else) 🔥but his acting made the whole twin thing feel believable
That scene where Michael is flying with Chloe was sooo cool...too bad it wasn't Luci.
Chloe seducing Michael near the vending machine was so much fun.
Yes it has been established since season 1 that time works differently in hell. Amenadiel talks with the dirty cop Marcus after bringing him back from hell. Says he was only dead for 30 seconds but for him it felt like 30 years.
Tom Ellis did a show called Rush where he had an American accent.
I was so proud and happy of My Queen Chloe 😊❣️
how did they miss M calling chloe chloe instead of detective, that was the true straw for her
😁
BOOM!!! Now Chloe AND Amenadiel know. The cat is out of the bag. And after only 2 episodes. Great Post, Normies.
Oh poor Linda...all the times she's had to say "that's not what I meant!"
*whispers I'm a grownup, and I like chocolate pudding. 😁
You guys are having way too much fun with Lucifer! So now he has Michael to contend with. What can possibly go wrong? "What is your greatest fear?"
Evil Dan”My Snacks are Labled!”
Linda is so fucking fine man, it's like she's aging backwards throughout the seasons.
the pudding discussion is funny 😂
I liked how all I noticed is the Trader Joe’s pineapple juice on the table I work there and in particularly that section and now I’m like I can’t escape it 😅it’s found me on TH-cam too!
Tom did a great job in this episode.
02:58 Eve ate the apple? Evade the apple???haha
It’s funny, cause in the comics Michael is the only angel Lucifer likes
19:04 I think, it`s about Saint George - not Michael.
Spidey is adorbs☺️
Ohhh Michael
yes Luci series back on. been little while
Time speed in Hell is very fast compared to Earth.
30 seconds death felt like 30 years (in the first season with the evil policeman)
Sad Pants Bitch repeated his time loop like 200+ times (as told by Lucifer) as Ella was doing her forensic.
30 seconds, when Lucifer died with his Mother, were series of loops
It is subjective but it is a lot faster.
there are 7 arc angels. Lucifer and Michael were the strongest of the 7. well it was 8 before Lucifer got sent to hell.
21:40 *Welsh
I think the point where Chloe knew for sure was when Michael said I love you. Recall Lucifer told her if he ever said that, he would be lying.
i thought that was later in the season? or was it not? i haven't watched since s6 came out
@@jampotisthecomicrelief8241 You're correct. It's after the family dinner.
Pretty obvious to know that it Lucifer has a twin brother
The thing I don't like about modern media is that they keep making angels into assholes, particularly Michael and Gabriel. It started with the Prophecy movies and ten Xena. I'd understand a rogue angel, like in Prophecy III, but why pick one by name and tarnish him?
I mean, it's not like the monotheistic religions teach that half the Angel's turned against god and became assholes or anything. The religion itself teaches that Angel's are capable of evil.
@@robertcampbell8070 Yeah. One third of them to be exact, but not Michael and Gabriel.
One more modern trope I'm tired of, is God being absentee somewhere and not telling the Angels where he is. Again, Prophecy, Xena, Supernatural, a slew of other stories, and this series.
This is about originality. There are some original ideas in Lucifer, but not these of which I speak.
@@robertcampbell8070
They are imperfect being.
Lol no no no....no "we talk more nasaly" its more so a thing with the shape of a nose, how someone breathes through their nose(so if someone has a narrow nose or tuba nose they're more likely to be nasaly), higher pitched voices and the stereotypical "proper" american accent speaks in a higher pitch at the top of the throat rather down to let air flow more evenly but nasaly isn't inherently american. Inherent to some accents like the valley accent or old jewish lady . That would be hell to listen to, i genuinely avoid people with nasaly voices
This is exactly how Americans sound to everyone else.
wait another week again😔
