I'm halfway through Tyler's book "Praying like monks, Living like fools" and I couldn't recommend it more. It has already reshaped my prayer life in the best possible way. I've never felt closer to God, what a blessing Tyler is.
“The God who goes into every fire with us” (33:50) brought me to tears. Such a revelation... I hope more people and leaders come to understand “trust” in regards to faith and building a faith. ❤ Blessings to you all.
What Tyler and John C are putting out there is similar to the Eastern Orthodox Church theology. I am just beginning to learn about and attend the Eastern Orthodox Christian church and am just finding. A lot of commonality. . Read the book “The Deification of Man” and you will see what I mean. The Orthodox Church has retained the mystery of the love of Christ, living ongoing prophecy and maintains it is the only church that has retained the original early teachings. I’m not sure why they don’t just join the Eastern Orthodox church ;)
I awake with a synthesis of all I experienced the day before. My first word is astonishment. I often write it down. Thank You Lord.

I love to pray.
Not sure what he is saying on prayer not being embraced by Christians.
Of course I belong to a Holy Spirit filled church.
