    Would like your insight into yoga practice being good and of God instead of worship of other gods. Referencing Paul’s “eat meat” verse is the usual argument for those who want to justify doing it. Is there any other biblical scripture to support it? Stating, “but it’s not that to me”, doesn’t appear to be sufficient either as couldn’t each of us craft our own belief in how to worship God - leading to a path away from the narrow road? Thoughtful and non-degrading thoughts are appreciated as I am truly seeking in this. Thank you 🙏

      Before I respond just making sure I have the question correct.
      Is your question - What's your insight into yoga practice being 'good' and is it of God?

      @@BrianBull Hello :)
      That’s a good way to take my statement and form it into a question, haha.

      @seth
      Also before I answer can you define what you mean by "yoga practice"?

      I believe pastor Tyler was only nudging towards it as a physical discipline for the body, but if he was asked to expand I have full confidence he would denounce the “spiritual” side of Yoga, which is not of God. Stretching and taking care of your body is most definitely being a good steward of what you were given, but when you “follow” a “teacher” and utter words in a language you do not fully understand nor believe in, thats where it gets tainted. We need some “prophetic stretching sessions” in my opinion 😂🙏🏼

      @@BrianBull i tend to think these questions for definition and clarification are getting a bit into the weeds and form confusion instead of clarity. Quite possibly building the foundation for others to say “well that’s not what it means for me, so I can do it because I define it differently.” To the point…Yoga is yoga. We don’t need to dance around and try to define it in multiple ways aka multiple truths. Yoga isn’t stretching. Stretching is stretching. Yoga is a a non-Christian spiritual practice. If a yoga studio has Christian symbolism it also has other religious symbolism. It is accepting of many pathways, or a wide road to nirvana. Practicing yoga and claiming to be a Christian is to be two-souled. Which is to not be a follower of Jesus Christ.
      Try teaching a yoga class where you substitute the names of the poses and statements said during the session for biblical words and I am confident you will be stopped before the session is over.
      Yes taking care of our bodies and stretching is being a good steward, but performing a spiritual practice other than Christian is not glorifying God.
      Now if we go into a stretching session doing similar stretches to what is done in a yoga routine but are meditating on Gods word while doing it, that’s different. That is glorifying God. But it’s not yoga. Because yoga is a non-Christian spiritual practice.
