I got a 2017 raptor I traded my 5500 ram service truck for and the raptor gets used off road hard and always grabs the pavement getting onto on ramps.

If it was gas v8 and super charged don’t want def problems the connectors will come loose and jumping a diesel truck would knock that 200+ pound exhaust system loose

Be pretty cool if someone buys this and actually uses it for the rugged environment it was intended. It'll probably be bought, have the truck bed waxed, and just taken to shows. No way - Shelby products are meant to be used. That's exactly what I do with my 09' GT500KR. It's a daily and I drive it to enjoy.
The problem is this is just a shelby by name. The performance is not there. They took some weak suspension and bolted it on and a crappy chase rack that will destroy the bed. Shelby trucks are overpriced, underperforming and not even made by shelby.
@Blue_Flame_Raptor Bro, Shelby has always been known for being the best and to call the parts crappy is dumb. If you go on their website or even listen to the video the amount of off-road performance provided is undeniable. And just a because you saw one video of a ford Shelby raptor getting its bed cracked because of the rack doesn’t mean it happens to all of them. Especially since this is a f-250 so the rules are different. Shelby now is getting a bad rep all because the Gen Z now criticizes them for making good and quality cars since Mr. Shelby isn’t here anymore. When shelby would have loved these cars. You are the definition of one of those who criticize.

Yeah I wanna take a “diesel” Baja f250 into the desert so that it can go into derate mode, low power, def issues, DEF problems, injection pump problems, I don’t think I have enough room. And it’s the first of its kind… I’m sorry guys I know I’ll get shit for this but at least you know I ain’t wrong !!! I used to be a Chevy guy till I owned a ford in 2004 and never looked back, but as an equipment manager for a construction company of almost 50 diesel fords I got to admit these emissions issues are so problematic and my gas f250 other then body’s work have held up way, waaaaaay better. All my fords are from 2017 to 2023. These trucks remind me of an elite boxer but with a glass jaw. Ford you should fix your fuck ups before you go into the next page. These are my two cents that nobody ask for. Happy thanksgiving!!!
Used to really want a diesel truck...until I started looking into it and all the crap that goes into running and maintaining them, not to mention the ridiculous emissions gear strangling the thing the whole time. Wonder if Shelby would make one of these with the 7.3 Godzilla gas V8 that comes in the Super Duty? Might just be the perfect truck.

It's kind of lame- This was designed for someone who knows nothing about heavy-duty performance off-road trucks. 20 inch wheels?, dual do-nothing stabilizers?, no winch?, looks like stock swaybar? subpar suspension? haha at least this truck will look really good in the mall parking lot and offroading over speed bumps but I guess that's what it was designed for🤣
