The real RA2 remaster. Game itself needs no change.
It does need changes like real compatibility with modern resolutions including sharper textures and an adjusted UI.

When the team working on the Remastered collection was looking for the original TD and RA1 tapes, they found the original RA2/YR tapes. I think they found the original Tiberian Sun tapes as well, but it has been a while since I watched the making of video.

I have been envying General Vladimir's glorious beard since I was 11-years old. RIP Vladimir, a true patriot of the Motherland taken too early. I understand you saw me as a political threat, given my youth and tactical superiority, but we should have been as brothers. You deserved to stand at my side as we destroyed the traitorous dog Yuri, and restored the world to Soviet victory.
11:11 For the "City of Lights" mission, there is a bonus enemy Air Armada event which will attack non-stop at the end. The way to activate this is NOT power-up the Eiffel Tower, and kill all Allied troops in the map. Then explore all the hidden areas in the map, especially the top right corner. Once there are no Allied troops and defense buildings remaining, there will be a non-stop enemy air armada being sent around the Eiffel Tower.

I like the graphics of red alert 2. Is there another game that looks and feels like it? It doesnt have to be an rts game. After finishing the campaings i just stopped playing ra2 yr. I want another game that looks like this one.
You can try RA2YR mods like Mental Omega, which contain new campaigns mission, new unit and structures, and new lore.
Late, but Sim City 4 has practically the same graphics style.
And Tiberian Sun while a bit less forgiving than RA2 in its UI is also pretty great.

I didn’t realize it back in my youth but now I think about it, the USSR in game is pretty much… the Tsarist Russia. Romanov is of course Nicolas II, Yuri is obviously Rasputin + Lenin. I don’t know about Vladimir though. He seems like a stock incompetent general to me.

no hes not. its known that if kane existed this war wouldnt have happened and instead the tiberium timeline would happen. there are 4 seperate timelines
the generals timeline were the original einstein returned to after killing hitler.
the red alert 1 and 2 timeline were hitler was killed.
the tiberium wars timeline were kane exist. and the red alert 3 timeline were the russians traveled back and killed einstein
He's very clearly based on Kane, yes.
To the point that, before it was cancelled, the original C&C3 storyline would reveal that Yuri was part of Nod's psychic projects, until he was flung into the past via the accidental activation of an abandoned Chronosphere.

Call me an uptight purist but in annoys the hell out of me how the Soviet’s uniforms look NOTHING like real ussr uniforms while carville and other Allied uniforms are right on point. And what soviets are complete without ak-47’s and migs?

I love humor and irony in this game. Actors in cinematics were brilliant. ...But some of them are no longer with us..... Yuri looks like V.I.Lenin :-) :-) and american general Carville is the classic american cowboy... :-). ..... EA ruined Command and Conquer and their correctness ruined humor in that games. For example heroes in Yuris revenge map Hollywood were renamed from Flint Westwood, Sammy Stallion and Arnie Frankenfurthner to only a "hero". Why?
Duuuh I are smurt and I blame them changing it on "correctness" because I've been brainwashed, not by Yuri, but by the right.
EA changed it after they were SUED and forced to do so.
This game will always be a masterpiece but couldn't help watching it thinking that zoomers watching this, being the easily offended pea brains that they are, would have a fit over some of these scenes haha
