Yes this happens, but not so often. There’s 2 things that helped me personally. First, keep your gear/hp invisible to others (A must for beginners). Second, and most importantly is to actually get a better understanding of the dungeon’s mechanics (aka don’t die).
I'll never understand kicking people out because they don't know the mechanics. Once upon a time you didn't know the mechanics. Yeah people can look them up before entering but some people don't like to use a guide for anything. If someone doesn't know the mechanics...just kindly teach them.
id agree sadly tho i know how mental people can be even explaining it 10 times isnt enough for some players also i constantly have to kick "healers" for actually being damage dealers with healer secondary and we constantly wipe over them irritating af
That's the reason I haven't done carmine, island of terror and valley of slaughter. I have watched multiple guides but I'm still afraid to make mistakes (since I don't have any practical experience). And since I'm a tank, everyone is expecting you to know your stuff like you've been born with it... :') And since my guild is pretty much dead, I don't even have 5 other people to do the Dungeons with me. And now I'm sitting here in fear paralysis and the game is slowly dying for me...
@@LavendelFeder I'm on Scorpos server. My Guild needs more active people. I will say most people I've run dungeons with have been pretty cool. But I do also have a group of friends that I can play with. Not a full dungeon team but enough to where we usually have like 2 or 3 Randos. I find it best to just go into a dungeon and then post a party board and be honest in the description. Like say "Doing this the first time." Or "learning mechanics but watched vid." I see that one all the time. That way people will know what to expect when they join.
@@xer0vi I've had some pretty bad experience and unfortunately they all overshadow the good experiences I had with groups. The most prominent one being my first run in deaths abyss when it came out - got called names AND being called incompetent in two languages, bc it was my first run and I made the grave mistake of not watching a guide. xD Since then I haven't done a dungeon before I haven't watched a guide. But now, since 2* Dungeons are a bit more difficult, and DDs still think they can still pull everything, like they did in 1* and then blame everyone but themselves, I've been so fed up. And I have tried the party board with the clear 'learners run' and two people of that group still got mad, that I didn't nail a run/mini boss the first time. (That's what made me not run anything new without at least two or three friends 🫠)
Yea, I feel where you're coming from. I think if they allowed more reps before dying in a boss, it'd be easier for players to learn. However, as it stands right now...one mistake and you die (which could possibly equal a wipe/reset). Meaning, you only get one rep every few minutes. Other games like FF14, they will hit you with hard-hitting hits a few times, and if you still fail you WILL die. The difference is, that players can be resurrected so it's less punishing in that front AND you get more reps before you die to something that may be a "one shot" type of mechanic. (not saying they should copy FF14, i respect them for doing their own thing. i just think they need to reevaluate their approach for newer/minimum-geared players)
Give a bonus for people that never leaves or kick ppl. After successfully completing your 3 daily dungeons (900) dimensional contracts you’re rewarded 10 unlock trait stones if you don’t leave or kick someone.
@RedVoteRedemption na game is dieing. To much work for very very little rewards... Not expected be easy or fast but no one okay a game that can't get stuff. Example I haven't been able to get the weapon I want from a dungeon. Is only 3% chances drop per run and can only do 3 times a day if I don't play 1 or 2 weeks I am behind everyone else. Not Worth playing a game that doesn't bring satisfaction :(.
@@demianpelos tf are you talking about. I can literally max my stuff in 3 weeks if i get to play every day. Right now I'm busy af with exams and can still make good progress with my gear. If they increase the drop rate as you demand then I'll max my shit in 2 afternoons and quit the game the day after. Remember: there are at least 4 more months before they release T2 gear. You crying people have no idea how ez this game is.
I've been kicked from a party for mining an ore while waiting for a mini-boss to spawn. In a one-star run. When I was a HUGE portion of the group's DPS -- literally soloing trash mobs. Some got mad at me because I mined an ore that's literally in the dungeon on purpose, and the whole group just went along with them.
The thing is that ppl are there to do dungeon and these T1 s are pretty fast phased. If you go and mine ores ( they are sometimes far away from miniboss ) then group will slack dps because you are not in there. So i understand that frustration. My opinion is that they should remove those mining quests from dungeons all together. What if 3 of players are running all over the place to mine. Then you slack 3 players.
@@MegaMatroc it is part of the game, and part of the quest, and he just said that he didnt do it during a boss, but during a waiting-phase. people like you are what is ruining fun in such games
@@MegaMatroc Sure, but quite often some groups rush so much that they attack boss even when low on mana, so what is impacting more player spending 5 seconds mining or half of group having zero mana half of the fight? Not to mention those that rush in and start boss fight even without checking if everyone is there or pulling too much without knowing how good group is and then complaining when they wipe. Plenty of times i had to stay behind to solo stiun/ kill arbiter because group just rush in pulling 3 of them at same time. I dont have problem with people mining nodes that are on the way, only if they chase something that is far.
@@poppinoftenwithlofton6036 I'm not quite sure was this intended for me or not, but players could think when they mine ore. Maybe after dungeon is over? you can run back yes? Ask some friend to stay in group and mine ore after that... If guy is their highest DPS and he goes away from group ppl need to wait him to come back. My opinion is that if 3 or 4 ppl does same everyone else waits. And again i'm not sure if you inteded this to me or not.
Because its a "different" party, if it accepted automatically then you'll get a bunch of AFKs into your dungeons! Thats not the problem the problem is people not using the systems correctly.
@@HelmuthGerka because they decline if the dungeon they want didnt pop up then they re que again then decline vice versa till they got the dungeon they want
Just give penalty like cooldown before he can random mm again. 3 to 5 mins penalty was enough to quell some off the reroll troll that ruin the random mm. For those who kick other or escape dg just to queu for othe dg give cooldown too. 1mins for each kick for each guy, and 10 mins penalty for escaping or dc and not coming back by default.
when i heal tier1 dungeons and someone leave, we reque. the constant POP UP on the left side BLOCKING the PARTY, im UNABLE to see heal or switch target, so when we continue while we are in que we most likely wipe, it's so damn annoying. I NEVER Understood why it has to pop up every single time, we would agree to the que anyway so just take one "confirm" as accept the que as it. Also why i hate the pop up que too is, it also blocks u from clicking anything else on the map or on the menu. So everytime i move my mouse to accept, cause i cannot click whatever i was doing. Someone decline and i moved my cursor for nothing. Yes it is annoying af. If you accepted it once, it should never ask you again and block u off. I hate that so much
That would help the constant popups, just accepting it once. I wonder if something like that is just hard to implement? 🤔 I wouldn't think so, although I'm not a developer so I don't know. LMAO.
I feel you mate. Either just let us select our role and keep it. And / or give us chance to choose from edit hud that how big and where pop up will appear at least
that pop up is the bane of all existence durring dungeon runs! especially when it pops up durring combat. game is just trolling the party at that point
The biggest problem with this game is that it is full of Cartmans and bots. Just let me add this for better context (though it's not a problem anymore since they fixed it in the last update): Do you guys remember the glitch in the lizard's T2 dungeon? Well, I got kicked from that dungeon at least a couple of times just for not wanting to glitch it and play the damn thing as intended.
I'm at 3500 CS healer in Crimson and got kicked for the first time in a 2 star dungeon in Island of Terror because of one wipe. Meanwhile this was the groups 3rd attempt on others being the cause of the wipe. I didn't care because it's still a fairly new dungeon but some of these players man, just think they are better and kick whenever they feel like it. Just like others here saying, they blame everyone else but themselves.
also side note the taunt for tank is disgustingly short its like 2m why cant we have a good sized radius on it smh is it really that overpowered to make my role more playable..
You should be rocking skill specializations that generate aggro if you're having issues holding it. Some weapon combos work better at this like the Greatsword having many skills with aggro specializations. When I was tanking, I never felt like my job was pushing max dps but rather controlling fights, trying to keep aggro and using defensives for myself or the group as needed. I will admit it can be hard to hold it though. Specially if the DPS are well above your own GS.
Yes, the aggro in this game doesn't work like traditional MMOs. It works similarly to FF14 BEFORE tank stance. Once they added the stance, everything went away. If they add a tank stance to this game, it'd be insane. Even me, someone who knows how to tank to the fullest think it's just not that great right now of a role. You don't really have a job unless it's a boss (and if it's a 1-star dungeon, you don't even have a job 😂). On top of that, so much pressure to do everything the "right" way otherwise you're kicked. (basically know all the cheese to everything or you're kicked, cheesing is such an unfun way to play this game, but that's how everyone wants the tank to play) Having a tank stance would make tanking easier, rounding up mobs easier, and fighting bosses easier. It would just be a much better quality of life experience for all. I wonder if they are worried about it due to a unit collision. That's something I've never seen in an MMO. I also think overhauling the mobs and how many spawn in a dungeon + having more walls to separate them before moving on would help as well.
@@Chillsabre the system they have setup feels like your meant to agro one thing at a time with how little the range is on everything even with the specializations its annoying i wanna feel like im tanking everything the skill that links everyone to me and i tank reduced damage is a start on a good tank ability however healers make that skill quite worthless with how little they heal most of the times in dungeons
@@poppinoftenwithlofton6036 yeah this is a huge issue ive thought about changing weapons constantly because it feels horrible to tank im constantly running around and losing aggro all the time its starting to feel lame lol like i cant fulfill my role so whats the point in being tank
agree, and gonna add this, ppl has time to make alt but they don't wanna invest to it cuz they are cheep, are the most annoying ppl. had guy in t2 dungeon told me that i am bad healer and he is talking to me with his alt dps and his main is healer. told him ok Mr 7k HP don't get one shot in boss. and he did and I was talking trash to him while fighting boss and healing everyone, like those ppl are needed be kicked
1 vote kick a day is "for free" in final fantasy 14 online, more times u cannot vote to kick someone. SO in the worst case u really want or have to get rid of someone u can, and if this vote comes threw, you are locked outa this to do it again for 24 hours since u started the kick vote. And it is fair, U can kick but u have to think about whom you want to kick and if its worth it. ( i hate kicking people and i hate getting kicked ) but i found this rule really nice
Oh wow, didn't know it's a 24-hour kick. Holy moly. I never had to kick...well...maybe once during an extreme due to someone willingly not wanting to play the game. But that's why I said a limit should be in it, I feel you shouldn't *need* to kick someone in several parties across your play session.
Why has it taken so long! It’s become such a hassle I’ve already given up on the game. Especially with what I hoped to have been a great pve game actually being pvp that I care zero for a melee pvp. I just keep getting these suggested videos. As far as the supremacy part, they are definitely trying to build a divide among players! The developers obviously believe this will encourage people to buy lucent and make the game more money when people like me see it as a money grab and end up quitting something that could have been exactly what they were hoping for if it wasn’t for this huge pvp and speed run game path they took. Really hate the five minute dungeons. I loved Destiny 2 dungeons and raids that sometimes took hours to get done, but they messed up their game so here I am, driven out of another game.
My suspicion for the getting kicked for no reason phenomenon is because bots are auto kicking because there is a cooldown so it’s pre-emptive due to most people just clicking accept right away so the bot can keep their spot
what is ruining the game is all of the people in random matchmaking kicking people at the very beginning of the dungeon, before you even encounter a single enemy...likely because they don't like your weapon build (happens on my staff/wand character constantly, rarely on my bow/great sword character)
@@devildogcody what worst usually the kicking happen before the final boss, after you wasted your time getting to final boss ....so they can invite their friend for quick boss kill.
All of this in a T2 dungeon just for a 70% chance to get blue gear. Can’t even hardly upgrade my traits. I need the purple gear to upgrade the purple gear I already acquired. You’re more likely to get that in a T1 dungeon.
yup, im abusing it to the fullest.. 1) We could be able to choose 2 out of 4 dungeons to be randomized into 2) Doing a T2 run to the boss just to get kicked is krazy 3) Running T2 takes forever 4) Being forced to help players in T2 just to get Blue gear or gear that don't help u ain't it 5) Running T2 and getting kicked when it's not you causing failure

@@paulwags662 aren't we getting some sort of mentor system? Was pretty sure doing randoms is a big part of how we get mentor status. I could be totally wrong but that would seem the intention to me if so.
Yeah the world pvp chat toxicity is wild. So much drama 24/7 lol and now that I think about it, ive put 500hrs into TnL since launch and I think its safe to say more than half of that time was spent digesting/comprehending the pure dissonance and chaos that goes on in world chat.
On some instances I was labeled a bot and expelled even after having a full blown conversation with the party member. I went in as DPS but because my gear was blue . Mind you I was way above the gear score required and was there trying to get my purple gear. No one starts a new game in a new character knowing all the mechanics… the community needs to help each other out.. the “veterans” were once new and inexperienced themselves at some point… the gear police needs to chill and stop expelling players without proper cause… I think there should be restrictions and penalties for this as well.. no one should abuse and determine your characters worthiness based on their own personal expectations. It’s a game.. Im there to enjoy the game not deal with drama
I 100% agree with you on this one. The penalties are a good thing. Spamming matchmaking to get the extra materials was never an intended use of the game mechanics, just people abusing the in place system. This is just fixing that issue. Also I'm convinced it's, ironically, mostly undergeared players who complain about other players being undergeared. Above 3700 (if you're traiting well) even the t2 bosses don't really hurt that much when you mess up. Basically, get 15k+ hp and skill damage resistance traits and carrying/teaching people the bosses is not really an issue. Had a fresh 2500 tank get kicked immediately on 2 runs in a row, and for the second one we literally explained at the start of the run that it was his first clear. Just feels like there's a lot of toxic people in the game's community that like to put people down despite essentially living in metaphorical glass houses. Here's to hoping the m+ tomorrow will show people to focus on their own performance to push for success, not judge that of others.
Well said, I agree 100%. If players are "scared" to say "first time", let alone run the dungeon without friends in fear of being harassed/removed, it really goes to show there needs to be work done.
Ppl don't realise you still get the random reward for entering the dungeon through random queue, even if you have to matchmake that specific dungeon when ppl drop. As long as you don't leave the instance.
Playing butchers canyon as a healer. First round, I hit major lag and get caught and killed. Rando DPS starts shit talking my gear. All purple. Traits unlocked. Max level. Not terrible. Maybe not perfect. So, guess which DPS didn’t get healed. Btw. Could’ve booted him. Three other players were in my guild and are my friends IRL. Don’t shit talk people.
Counter argument: New players using the random match making should watch a 3 minute video to at least have some understanding of mechanics, instead of wasting everyone's time for an hour or more, then coming on here and complaining they got kicked for no reason. New Players can also use the party board to create "Learning Parties" to once again not waste peoples times. Penalties are going to do one of two things; Make Match making ques a lot longer. (But no more pop up!) and two, people will join and say; "Please kick me. Thanks." and if not, AFK. That isn't just a Throne issue but MMOs in general.
At the end of the day there is no solution to make everyone happy. I get your perspective, lots of us come home from work and don't have time to grind and such, and the reason for doing random dungeons I assume is just for the extra chest. But I disagree about people should watch a video. Not everyone wants to watch a video, I remmeber a time where you learn the game just by playing not having to watch all these videos. I do agree with the party board thing I have friends that I game with at night after work so to me that'd my party board where we all learn the boss mech and such where we aren't pressured to rush or watch videos and we can learn at our own pace. So while I see ur point there's also the purpose of people who love to learn as they go. But also u don't want people to waste your time bc all of our time is limited as well. One could also say like he said in this video is just do the party board urself if u just want to speed pass everything.
Expecting people to watch a video just to play a game is some brainrot type sh*t. How did the people make the video without watching a video that didn't exist before they made it? Games are for entertainment, not a job, not a University degree. If you want a specific group of people it is REALY SIMPLE. USE THE PARTY BOARD AND LEAVE THE REST OF THE PEOPLE ALONE.
Yea, I'm personally not a fan of the "Watch a video before boss" movement. You can still make mistakes regardless, seeing isn't doing. On top of that, blind is the fun of the game. I do not purchase/download games and view the content online before playing it. I want to see it with fresh eyes and should I be stuck I'll look later. Trying to remove the "first time" experience from players just for a faster clear, I can't get behind.
i use sns dagger i get kicked a lot too. but i kinda gave up on that cuz im not really providing dps value other than -890 endurance and it’s really hard to get high dmg output from sns dagger without really good gears. However I still play it and enjoy trying out different setups see if there is anyway the sns dagger to be actual dps class.
They should add list of dungeons you want to play and not want to play so you can have a random dungeon out of 2 or 3 if wanted rather than the first ones
Andrew i completely agree i was running my 3 coop's this morning Deaths Abyss no less the easiest 1* dungeon in the game im a tank main and i got kicked when the boss was at 1.5% Hp left and there reason was tank cant hold agro bad tank and you want to know something about tanks here it is 1 WE HAVE LONG AF cooldowns 2 The skills we have yes they generate agro But if there is a god damn 3500 DPS in the party we will not hold agro no matter how much we try its a fact because agro is based on damage done to the boss/whatever it is that your fighting they need to ether A take page from FFXIV and give sword and shield a tank stance or B make Every Single skill from sword and shield generate MAX Agro from the Boss/Group of enemies.
Expel maximum a day is t going to work, the community is so toxic, when i run with randoms, there is always a try hard idiot that wants to abuse bugs and when you say something about it ur insta kicked and reported for being honoust, and dont get me started on try hards that start yelling about everything. I recently gave up on co-op with randoms i cant handle the extreem toxic behavior.
Major issue I see is the fact selection chests have a chance to drop a token is what causes the major issue of people target farming certain dungeons. Think about it you can skip queue to look for specific dungeon, get another token and a chance at dimensional token. For efficiency I get it. So im not sure t(e best way to fix it but the other options for entering dungeons do not reward you as much and why waste your precious dungeon currency if you are not gonna get the most out of it
I hope they also fix the Kertaki bug, because I always leave when others want to abuse it. And the last thing I want is a penalty for not abusing an exploit.
honestly the lobby dodging is getting so annoying or having healers that are actually just damage first and healer second and your wiping non stop throughout the dungeon because they dont actually wanna be a healer smh there is a lot of annoying crap about dungeons
Yup and then they want to punish us for those bad players actions. Two days ago I was in a dungeon with 4 wand and staff and not a single one was healer and the 5th person was bow dagger. I qued as dps so who the f one of them qued as healer much less a tank lol
LMAO, yes to both those comments. Yea, those are some real head scratcher moments. Then they look at everyone else like we're the problem. I'm just like...bro, come on. 😂
Lol had a group with 4 wands yesterday . I died 3 times BEFORE we were even to the boss. I asked if just one of them could toss out a heal once in a while. Then we finally finished the boss fight.
Anyone else dislike the change to fishing? I caught 38 belphoric bass before I finally got something else yesterday. So I went to the ocean and quit fishing after the 20th anchovy in a row. I feel like fishing is a waste of time now.
Yeah, that toxic stuff is crazy. I was helping a group healing and some random tank called everyone “Piggies” and left. He was a terrible tank. It’s a video game, relax dude. 😂
Throne and Liberty has the most ASS community/playerbase i have ever seen. I play a healer and the amount of vote kicks i'm declining is insane. I don't think i've played a single dungeon in the last 5 days without some shmuck vote kicking with 'reason' 111 or xd. At least it's nice to vote-kick out the person who started the initial vote. HOLLY smokes bro They need to make it so if you block someone you can't get queed with em, that would solve some issues too
Two star dungeons and queue dodgers ruined the game. Queue for the dungeon you want to run and don’t use random. Random Get it? It’s a word that has meaning. Look it up.
y for me ppl shood watch the video before to enter to dunegon i now no one is perfect etc but if some one die from all mechanic just becose he wonna feel on his one skin mechanic and learn from mistakes he can create own grupe and go learn and not waist ppl time no all ppl have 2-3h to learn boss right?
You are totally right with people roleplaying the supremacy in this game:) I never got that much toxicity in any previous games, mmorpgs, and i did really had played alot of mmorpgs:) I really hope in next patch the system will be friendly with everyone, and not really disappoint the ones that are already used to the actual system. Got the issue to be kicked even before starting the fight, and might be because i had a blue weapon, i think some players don't even think twice before kicking others from the team.
Agreed, I think they just are glad it's not them or if something is going rough, they feel it's better to remove players and replace them for a better chance at clearing. I always reject, but most of the time out voted.
@@poppinoftenwithlofton6036 Ya - maube an NCSOFT mistake this time.. simply says violation "ENTIRE VIDEO" on a topic that was completely legit - im kinda laughing tho. someone in the office prolly lost an arena against me maybe.. LMAO
I play as a tank, and I am a solo player. Doing co-op dungeons with randoms can get rough. Before I do any dungeon for the first time, I enter solo. To get the feel of it. I try to get as far as possible and kill all the mini-bosses. You can watch as many guides as you want, but you still do not get the feel of the dungeon. You have to experience it yourself. I do get stomach aches before entering a co-op dungeon with randoms. You never know how the players act and react. And as a tank, you should not die. You have a lot of pressure. I had some great runs in Tyrant's Isle lately. No one complained, and the players waited for everyone to arrive at the boss. If someone came too late and the fight already started, the group wiped on purpose. To let the other player in. Otherwise, no loot for her/him. How it should be!
Oh wow, that's really cool you try to solo the dungeons. That seems like a fun little challenge. May have to try it sometime. I also agree, it should be like that!
@@poppinoftenwithlofton6036 The only co-op dungeons I cannot tackle solo include Cave of Desperation and Cave of Destruction. Poison ants do too much damage. The other one-star co-op dungeons you can solo with ease. Templars may take longer to clear them than Crusaders. But great fun nonetheless. You have to try.
As a gs sns player, give us some slack. I pick damage roles a lot because either A - there are never enough stuns in match making and B - I like to run it first before actually tanking it to get a feel for the boss rotation. Because God knows, if you don't 100% know what you're doing people throw a fit. And yes, gs/sns isn't a meta dps build but it can still clap and put out great damage plus the defensive buffs help make it easier for the healer.
Tbh kicking is more of the problem then ppl dodging dungeons. If the pop up wasn’t annoying, people would not have asked for the penalty tbf. If you can que up one time and that’s it and it fills up the rest of the roles that would have had less ppl complaining. You have to have the option to kick bots from your dungeons especially when they are rampant. When you are in a group where let’s say the healer or tank is causing a group wipe, whether it’s due to not having strong enough heals or not pulling the boss etc. you have to kick and replace that person even if you and another person are experienced, the other non geared or low exp suffer because they can’t stay alive For kicking: Need to have been in the dungeon for at least 5 mins before kicking One vote to kick per 4 hours( I watched someone kick 3 ppl in a row and we were forced to 3 man last boss) Need majority vote to kick
I mean, instead of creating penalties for people to abuse, they could just redesign the popup. Single time role selection within the party and no more popups.
I run SNS/dagger as a tank, and I think it's a slippery slope when the game starts defining which weapons people are allowed to have for each role. Someone could find a creative build that doesn't use the typical setup, and I think limiting that option for people is not a great direction. I like the video though, and agree with 99% of what you said. Just wanted to share my 2 cents.
@@poppinoftenwithlofton6036 nice! That’s good to know if I ever swap., good look on that! PvP has to be competitive there. I’m situated in Junobote currently
Just give people cancelling and leaving dungeon instantly a stacking 10% loot reduction, making it 10 times a day, make the 100% loot reduction PERMANENT. Same for kicking. Initiating a kick once per day is ok, maybe 2x, but regularly kicking should give loot chance penalties as well.
pure tank here, get kicked 2 times cause i cant do the bug for kertaki hahaha they say only sns/gs can do it. its kinda fraustrating. i stay away from that dungeon until it gets patched.
Getting kicked for not doing a bannable glitch is insane to me. I saw other comments saying the exact same thing. I'm going to assume the patch on the 5th will fix it.
Not only tank. Long/bow staff do if as long as there’s a healer. It’s More about knowing the distance needed for kertaki to move and avoiding the geyser. Because the elevation can fk it up and kertaki will think the distance and greater and start spamming aoe
Maybe it's just me but this problem seems over blown. I always do random with 4 friends, 1 tank 1 healer, and 2 dps and it's quick. And if 3 players leave we can replace them easy.
You are so onpoint there that there are partyboard for players who actually wants ppl that knows the mechanics. Why most players (not necessary endgame geared) run random dungeons is they might get lucky and get that salvation stone from box. I've noticed in EU servers that if you try to get random dungeon in early morning / working hours you will not get high geared players. They run dungeons late evening to quickly use their tokens. Penalty for skipping certain dungeon in randomized should be in place. Currently it's not random as you can choose where you go. For example in starcraft you can select maps that you would favor over others. They should think about implement that system here that you select random but favor some dungeon over other. I don't mind if someone doesn't know the mechanics. Then we teach them or give them 5 minutes to be in youtube to learn that mechanic but if 4 / 6 knows them then bosses should be fairly easy in T1 Nice video and i love that you were completely honest.
That lines up with me. During early morning in NA that's usually when I see the most geared players. Depending on where you are, your night is my morning. Maybe if mechanics were less punishing for being the minimal gearscore, it wouldn't be so bad to have trial-and-error runs. If the person can "practice" without losing a life each time, you get more reps per run. Also, thank you for the kind words. I'm glad you enjoyed the video and I always think honesty is the best policy. I want to see the game do well, and I hope my videos reach someone who can take note. If it does, they not only see the video but all the great comments you're all leaving about how you feel about the game and how you'd like to see it shaped (this is also why i make sure the comment section is respectful, everyone has a right to their own opinion).
Undergeared is something that i absolute hate as reason, if they had not the right amount of gear, they would be unable to join the que. For this reason people started hiding their weapons, for that reason people start kicking cause people hide it. I got told multible times i should upgrade my weapons, like yeah i do that everytime i have lucent, im cosntantly low and sell everything i can dispose on the auction house. Upgrading is rarly "I dont want to" it's more of a can i afford it type of situation. While you could have the best traits on your whole gear max level, nobody cares. aslong u hide your weapons or they are not max ( which i found nonsensical anyway ) it's just a fraction of power display. My personal Reason why i have more upgrades on my gear then on my weapons, well duh. i run every dungeon to the max and i had to exchange both my weapons for tokens, i got them LAST not first, so i cannot ugrade anything that i didnt had before. Cause i was not lucky enough like others after 3 runs and get it for free as loot. People in this game are super toxic and the surroundings provided by the game all the features who are currently in place / and or are missing just encourage this behaivor sadly. I really love this game since i started but some Aspect's are getting harder to tolerate on daily basis...
Yea, that usually is the case (unless it's an alt for someone which some have said). Very rarely in ANY game have I seen players intentionally not upgrade themselves up. LMAO.
Most devs usually have to want to do that. I haven't heard any of the talks speak on something like that, so I don't think it's on their list. Most games don't start off with a non-toxic community, that's just gaming in general. However, most of the titans today don't play that and will come after you quickly if you disrupt the community.
I feel you may be mixing competitive with toxic. Many pvp games are competitive, but it doesn't mean they are toxic. The community for *this* game I feel is toxic. The community for...let's say League of Legends (arguably one of the most competitive games) is competitive. That wasn't the case many years ago, but Riot intentionally made an active movement to curb the "real" toxicity. If Throne and Liberty want to do the same, they will really have to *want* it. Imo, no game should have players actively belittling others on a daily basis. Sometimes having interactions like that happens. There are bad apples in every bunch, but to have so many behave that way and on such a consistent basis, I can't really get behind that.
@@paulwags662 because not all people are like you some if they loss in PVP at least they can win on trash talk its not good but that's happen and we cant tell other what to do because they don't listen
Basically anyone complaining: “but but but poppin, I want to Q random dungeons for extra rewards, but only run terror island and cheese the boss and I want to be able to leave when they don’t know the cheese!” “What a trash change.” “Game ruined” 😂😂😂
I think the penalties should be like a number infront of their names or some kinda of icons to say that guy is a quiter so the party anticipate what coming, and above that they give a time penalty say 20-30 mins -or more- to not be able to matchmake at all. Also they should give a penalty to the guy who keeps voting to kick people if repeated a numbers of time. Harsh? yes, but fair, based on this community that filled with entitled morons. Thanks for the vid ;)
Another thing is people starting bosses early and stopping people from getting credit. The dungeon should just teleport you into the boss fight. Missed credit bc I didn't die and teleport right outside the boss and when I got there they refused to reset so I got to do a whole dungeon for free 😢
SNS/Bow is a Tank.... honestly a very strong tank because Bow provides Healing and Shields for itself. And Target to lower your teams cooldowns at Bosses.
Ok lets keep it real then. 2:52 Complaint 1: So if you’re a new player you’re screwed. Got it. 3:27 Complaint 2: So since the game faces the holy trinity in a different way than all other mmos, causing even veterans to scratch their heads on some of these, then you veterans can just leave and new players are still screwed. Got it. 3:44 Complaint 3: So if these new players are trying to gear up by playing the game and doing what they’re supposed to do, which is running dungeons to get their bis gear like every other player in the game, then they’re the problem for being undergeared. Which means they’re still screwed. Got it. 4:50 Complaint 4: I agree with this one.
@ I 100% agree. If you’re doing t2, at that point there should be absolutely no reason why you wouldn’t be geared or at least know what you’re doing. But we’re talking about t1 and even the early dungeons here. Problem is people’s ego stick are so far up their chocolate starfish, you could see it if they yawn.
To be honest for dungeon cancel is got a easy option to fix it. Give us a NPC who can exchange Soul Shards 1:1 ration. Because YES smt i dont want to do Death Abyss 5 times in a row when i need other shards to make my trait selector stone bag. To The Random dungeon matchmaking give "feature" to let us pick minimum 3 different dungeon where we want to help(so ppl who look for a specific dungeon's to farm still gonna help out).
SNS/Bow is actually fire, but you can't kite or that kinna stuff. Agony-traited taunt plus a dps field like the gale circle will contsant proc excessive tank damage and refresh taunt for more than 20seconds. Bow is the weapon I found does it most consistently. Gather mobs and tank with shield like normal. I love it. Plus you get self-healing and a solid oh-shii insta-shield.
You mention preventing people from queuing with the wrong weapons thing but as crossbow/dag sometimes I feel like a better tank than most random queue sns/x because I can actually keep aggro and know the mechanics XD. Plus the dungeon usually runs faster and smoother because I do a lot more dps than a regular tank.
They just need to sit down and fix the loot distribution of original dungeons. The new 2 star dungeons has items for all classes but their issue is the 4 man parties kicking people to fill with their friend trying to randomly join. I wish they would have put the minimum GS higher than 2500 for the 2 star dungeons too. Tanks with barely 2500 have a really hard time surviving at all in there and the healers who also happen to be 2500 can barely keep up if any issues arise. It makes dungeons a frustrating run where nothing can ever happen or you have to reset all fights. It has become so toxic on top of nerfs based on things we do not have yet that I quit. They should just remove hiding your weapons in random dungeons, its not PvP and it does nothing to see what you are rocking. Also, there needs to be some kind of check for classes to ensure they fit the role not to mention having an icon to know who is queuing as what role to make healing easier rather than trying to figure it out as you go.
Some of those one shot mechanics aren't gear checks, they're skill checks. Unless you're talking about t2 in which I have heard it's a little bit gear checking and a little bit skill checking
I was doing a dungeon and a member in the team systematically voted to kick everyone one-by-one. When it was just him and me left I qued us up for a new party. When the party filled back up, the guy voted to kick me because I was the only one that knew his true motives. He probably voted to kick people over and over all day. Fucking insanity, so I quit the game.
@@poppinoftenwithlofton6036 I usually don't interact with the expel window, I'm not sure how it works but I think it kicks someone unless enough people reject the kick
@@poppinoftenwithlofton6036 Nah I usually just put up with whatever team the game hands me One raid took 20 minutes because only 2 of us knew the mechanics and we were teaching the others Even though I beat that dungeon countless times, I still remember that run because it was satisfying finally beating the boss
People are blowing it way out proportion ( the pop ups and people declining random) Now the kicking thing is a different story. If they start giving penalties then yes it could really hurt people looking to finish dungeons. And the pop up is not permanent, people need to relax. That's the root of this issue, too much ADHD. I stated doing random matchmaking to get my purple weapon because it hadn't dropped in 130 runs. The randoms have honestly been very good and it was a route around the ridiculous RNG
There is also something else that is broken about the game. I was in an open dungeon just farming minding my own business. At some point there was an event that kicked in. And someone snuck up behind me and one shot me. Mostly I don't mind PVP when I know that I am a part of it but the fact that it was a player that was a lot higher ranked than myself and it was for a guild rank. So that means that someone can come along that is in the middle 20s and get blinded by someone from the 50 rank and the guild gets points for it. That sounds right to you. I don't want to be a part of what they were doing I was just minding my own business and it coated me money to get there. I think there should be an option for someone to opt out before the event starts.
If there is an eclipse or it turns nighttime pvp will activate in all the abyss dungeons. The timer at the top right shows the time of day and I think the grace period is 5mins? Once it turns night. (eclipse I don't think has a grace period)
I agree with the majority of what you’ve said here but two things. The first is the restrictions on being allowed to pair certain weapons together and que as a tank like with an sns/bow. With this I disagree, people should be allowed to do whatever they want and que in role they choose, taking people’s freedom is never they play if what they’ve chosen is not sufficient then they’ll just repeatedly get kicked and will have to 1: change weapons, 2: Que with only friends or 3: get geared enough to fill the role adequately. The second thing I disagree with is the supremacy issue so I do agree that there is an elitist/supremacy problem but that just comes with the territory. It’s literally any game where there’s competition involved so it doesn’t bother me in the slightest cause there’s always going to be people that are just better than others periods, regardless if they’ve paid for gear or not there are going to be elite players and they deserve to gloat. Now yes the gloating can get out of hand but as long as it doesn’t go into the territory of being a real life threat, racist, hate crime etc. then idgaf honestly who cares if it bothers those seeing it either don’t look at it turn off your chat that’ll solve the issue or better yet change settings for your chat in custom chat to not include the world chat. People just gotta have a thicker skin, it’s a video game I play Smite, League of Legends and DOTA so if you can’t talk yo own shit then get off the microphone and tune em out cause its really not that serious as long as it’s not the behavior I’ve stated above then it’s fine imo. If we start getting into the territory of trying to restrict and control people’s speech then screw the dungeon queuing ruining the game, all the restrictions will. But that’s all everything else I agree with for the most part, maybe just look at it from another perspective.
its easy, you learn the mechanics by preparing before going in. watch a video about it and you will make less mistakes, nobody will rage at you and you will be respecting other peoples time while gaming
The developer's words "We implemented random dungeons to reduce the queue times of players". Usually, anything I say in my videos comes from the team. (i always do my research)
@filip5703 at the same time by devaluing all the items that are relatively easy to get they are making it harder for you to make lucent by selling items
It is because they are trying to get a boss room run only and also because they do gear check and expect fully kitted players to carry them in the starter dungeons where the majority should be new or inexperienced players.
Great comments.. you hit the point quite well. I am damn boomer, so i need to give some boomer statement... Problem is, that many ppl do not play to have fun, but to selfrealize ... or at least they act like that, for some reason...
people canceling is not the "reason" for the pop ups... Its dumb system design.. they could have made it so that once you select your role and hit queue it just sit in the corner like it does before someone joins and leave. there is zero reason to pop up and ask you to confirm anything...
I am GS , S&S. I tank for my friends and guildmated but DPS randoms. Everyone is a tank until they die and this gotta go fast mentality makes me hate tanking with a random groups.
Yes, I agree. They need to really pace the dungeons and not have players pace it themselves. The newer dungeons sort of have a pace, you're not speeding through, and there are walls. I feel if they try to rework, it'll take a lot of time and resources. I'm guessing they just said "Hey, we learned from our mistakes. We'll make newer dungeons better." Rather than reworking them? At least for now. Even though...I feel that just adding some walls would help out too.
I do, it's just...Hmm, it's one of those things where it needs structure I guess is where I'm getting at. For example, in FF14, I'll speed run dungeons, buuuut FF14 also has a pace. It allows speed runs, but only as fast as they deem fit and it's set up in a way to accommodate it. This game's speed runs are player-made and less structured. Basically, a random group is never really on the same page, but that's also because the game doesn't set the book up for you. A lot of the runs usually end up in a massive pull, into a wipe (not all stages). FF14 paces it's dungeons in a way where they *want* you to do that, but it's also a more structured environment with the tools to do so. A small example of one tool they use is tank stance. (please note, when i compare, i'm not asking for throne and liberty to be like ff14, just using as an example) Hope that makes a bit of sense.
@@Lance_Knight Speed is not the issue . its a point where people who are not speceed as tanks pull the instance die then drop group because they wanna go as fast as possible and create an environment that wastes others time and disheartens others from playing the game.
well , im a tank, and i learned to bug the boss of islando of terror because if the tank dont bug the boss ,they kick you. That the lvl we are talking about😆. now the main issue is the random prize chest, if you give that prize people will do ramdom always before others system more" pro". and that will keep working that way. i understand the logic of the prize to find more queue but to fix that problem you added toxicity. and like you say no matter the rules, the going to find the way "hack", because of the nature of the game to grind. it so hardcore to the grind that people just stop enjoys the dungeon and just want the loot chest.
Yesss, couldn't have said it better myself. That pretty much sums of the experience for many at the moment. 😅 I personally queue for the fun of dungeons to be honest, but I understand 100% what you're saying.
Im a tank as well, and I simply don't run island of terror anymore. And when i do, i take screen shots of the group and report them for exploiting after I get kicked, because I refuse to put my account at risk from doing exploits.
Bro UR PART OF THE PROBLEM! Kicking ppl cuz they’re using an off meta wep combo like rlly? This is an mmo ppl are free to rock whatever wep combo they want. This whole kicking system needs to just get removed from the game or need 5 ppl to vote yes
Its normally the corner cutting script running instant grat. shits that ruin that game and make the community toxic.... and when it comes to dung, its wild that ppl are so impatient and then end up wasting time overall doing so w thier impat actions...
One of the worst things i came across in random dungeon running is kicking players for no reason
Because people are taking advantage, they get people to join to kill the mini boss then kick them and invite their guild members.
Oh wow, now THAT'S top-notch disrespect if that happens on a regular basis LMAO.
Yes this happens, but not so often.
There’s 2 things that helped me personally. First, keep your gear/hp invisible to others (A must for beginners). Second, and most importantly is to actually get a better understanding of the dungeon’s mechanics (aka don’t die).
@@v443.v yes from what ive seen, not using the meta weapon combos or max traits are the big factors on why people get kicked.
That's not the game's fault. Today dumb kids crystal boys find the most dumb thing to get upset and ask to kick people with messages as 'aaaa'
This game has not been out long enough for so many people to have such superiority complexes.
You don't understand the fact a lot of people played the Korean version and they sure feel superior because of it.

LMAO.

I made one mistake as a healer and got kicked
Welcome to Stun and Kickerty.
This dudes takes are real af. I like this guy im subbin.
same. That lecture to the supremacy elitists seems very warranted
also side note the taunt for tank is disgustingly short its like 2m why cant we have a good sized radius on it smh is it really that overpowered to make my role more playable..
And the 23 second timer does not help at all.
(basically know all the cheese to everything or you're kicked, cheesing is such an unfun way to play this game, but that's how everyone wants the tank to play)
Having a tank stance would make tanking easier, rounding up mobs easier, and fighting bosses easier.

I loved Destiny 2 dungeons and raids that sometimes took hours to get done, but they messed up their game so here I am, driven out of another game.
i dont mind people canceling random match, but people accepting a dungeon to leave after entering is the most annoying thing

Yes, matchmaking goes by gearscore. I *think* random does too, but can't confirm on that front. It does feel as though it does at times though.
All of this in a T2 dungeon just for a 70% chance to get blue gear. Can’t even hardly upgrade my traits. I need the purple gear to upgrade the purple gear I already acquired. You’re more likely to get that in a T1 dungeon.

Appreciate it. 🙏
Yeah the world pvp chat toxicity is wild. So much drama 24/7 lol and now that I think about it, ive put 500hrs into TnL since launch and I think its safe to say more than half of that time was spent digesting/comprehending the pure dissonance and chaos that goes on in world chat.
LMAO. My world chat was turned off since day two of playing. Benediction's chat is some of the most next level I've EVER seen ANYWHERE! 🤣
I like the way you think!
Ppl don't realise you still get the random reward for entering the dungeon through random queue, even if you have to matchmake that specific dungeon when ppl drop. As long as you don't leave the instance.
By the way i subscribed. Great video and your lecture to the supremacists at the end was perfect
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it! 😊
Also, yes hah. I really dislike seeing people mistreated.
Yo that’s a great idea to tell them to kick me THANK YOU!😂😂
Gatekeep random que to 100 completion of each dungeon. Ez solution.
I got kicked for being a sns/dagger
i use sns dagger i get kicked a lot too. but i kinda gave up on that cuz im not really providing dps value other than -890 endurance and it’s really hard to get high dmg output from sns dagger without really good gears.
I think being able to choose the random dungeon you want is nice not knowing their skill level is the randomness which I enjoy
i like this guy thats a real talk man
Expel maximum a day is t going to work, the community is so toxic, when i run with randoms, there is always a try hard idiot that wants to abuse bugs and when you say something about it ur insta kicked and reported for being honoust, and dont get me started on try hards that start yelling about everything.
YO, FACTS. I don't know what's worse, a healer queuing as healer and not healing or a DPS queuing as healer with no heals at all. 😂
Yup and then they want to punish us for those bad players actions. Two days ago I was in a dungeon with 4 wand and staff and not a single one was healer and the 5th person was bow dagger. I qued as dps so who the f one of them qued as healer much less a tank lol
@@poppinoftenwithlofton6036 worse. Someone queuing as a tank but they’re built and act like a dps 🤣
HOLLY smokes bro
They need to make it so if you block someone you can't get queed with em, that would solve some issues too
what are the penalties? Everybody is talking about them but nobody says what they do
I'm not sure I understand what you're asking, did you watch the video?👀
Two star dungeons and queue dodgers ruined the game. Queue for the dungeon you want to run and don’t use random.
Random
Get it?

When you are in a group where let’s say the healer or tank is causing a group wipe, whether it’s due to not having strong enough heals or not pulling the boss etc. you have to kick and replace that person even if you and another person are experienced, the other non geared or low exp suffer because they can’t stay alive
For kicking:
Need to have been in the dungeon for at least 5 mins before kicking
One vote to kick per 4 hours( I watched someone kick 3 ppl in a row and we were forced to 3 man last boss)
Need majority vote to kick
I mean, instead of creating penalties for people to abuse, they could just redesign the popup. Single time role selection within the party and no more popups.
Great video, I think you addressed many good points, thank you for posting
I run SNS/dagger as a tank, and I think it's a slippery slope when the game starts defining which weapons people are allowed to have for each role. Someone could find a creative build that doesn't use the typical setup, and I think limiting that option for people is not a great direction. I like the video though, and agree with 99% of what you said. Just wanted to share my 2 cents.
What server are you comment observers playing on?
I personally play on Benediction. I know a lot play on Pippin. (least from comments of my videos)
I'm going to assume the patch on the 5th will fix it.
must feel dissapointed glad it not happens on my server also im tank aswell and i will never will use bugs ever i dont wanna risk me banned.
Not only tank. Long/bow staff do if as long as there’s a healer.
It’s
More about knowing the distance needed for kertaki to move and avoiding the geyser. Because the elevation can fk it up and kertaki will think the distance and greater and start spamming aoe
Good for you. They should be banned
Then we teach them or give them 5 minutes to be in youtube to learn that mechanic but if 4 / 6 knows them then bosses should be fairly easy in T1
Nice video and i love that you were completely honest.
If it does, they not only see the video but all the great comments you're all leaving about how you feel about the game and how you'd like to see it shaped (this is also why i make sure the comment section is respectful, everyone has a right to their own opinion).
if everything you say is how its happening, it wont stop the A holes who join and leave 2stars dungeons because you arent on the boss
LMAO.
Too many toxic people in the game. How do we change that?
Most devs usually have to want to do that. I haven't heard any of the talks speak on something like that, so I don't think it's on their list. Most games don't start off with a non-toxic community, that's just gaming in general. However, most of the titans today don't play that and will come after you quickly if you disrupt the community.
if the game is pvp its mostly toxic because most people outside your guild consider a enemy
@@rommelymas8100 no the reason is the mentality of too many immature pvpers. I say that as someone who enjoys a good pvp game.

All they had to do is make random que cost like 50% coins and when you get to 0 no extra loot but still get the 1 token and chance thing.
Another thing is people starting bosses early and stopping people from getting credit. The dungeon should just teleport you into the boss fight. Missed credit bc I didn't die and teleport right outside the boss and when I got there they refused to reset so I got to do a whole dungeon for free 😢
Happened to me too, the person was happy to have 2 of us locked out. Legit said "nope" when they asked to reset lmao...😅

For t1 dungeons there should be help. If its t2 and your unprepared then you're a pos. (Dont mean u specifically)
Also, the party of 4 random queue needs to go. Either 2 or 6 to avoid majority vote to get kicked.
My friend tanks very well with sns and bow, he's actually very survivable and with it. He holds his own as well as I do as a sns/gs user
Or they could have send invitations to 20 people instead of 6, first ones to accept gets into the party
That's a real some kind of mind. o.O Wait, but why did you agree to kicking the others?
@@poppinoftenwithlofton6036 I usually don't interact with the expel window, I'm not sure how it works but I think it kicks someone unless enough people reject the kick
It does. I thought you voted to kick others, then got kicked after. 👀
@@poppinoftenwithlofton6036 Nah I usually just put up with whatever team the game hands me
One raid took 20 minutes because only 2 of us knew the mechanics and we were teaching the others
Even though I beat that dungeon countless times, I still remember that run because it was satisfying finally beating the boss
It will just make que longer and people will just enter and leave if there is no penalty at start.
Well, there is a penalty for that, so they can't do that either. 👀 And if they troll the dungeon, they are going to be suspended/ban.
no bro randomized for faster queue is dumb.
its for bonuses.
its faster to queue with normal not random or its just the same speed
The developer's words "We implemented random dungeons to reduce the queue times of players". Usually, anything I say in my videos comes from the team. (i always do my research)
The problem with the limit on expels is BOTS. Often you'll get a string of bots and it's your moral duty to expel those pieces of shit
bots make the auction house cheaper for free to play players though!
@filip5703 at the same time by devaluing all the items that are relatively easy to get they are making it harder for you to make lucent by selling items
@@OptimumAwesome yeah double edged sword
I never understood why people que up to leave right away, makes no sense.
It is because they are trying to get a boss room run only and also because they do gear check and expect fully kitted players to carry them in the starter dungeons where the majority should be new or inexperienced players.
I have that big issue with healer’s with hybrid builds…it does affect the freaking party
Don't blame the players, blame the poor design by the devs.
@ or just don’t Q as a healer if you use a wand..lol healers are Wand/Bow users..not sure why is that so hard to understand lol
But why your chair look like Darth Vader?
Great video, man! I agree with everything you said
Great comments.. you hit the point quite well.
Why dont u like the go fast?
(please note, when i compare, i'm not asking for throne and liberty to be like ff14, just using as an example)
Hope that makes a bit of sense.
@@Lance_Knight Speed is not the issue . its a point where people who are not speceed as tanks pull the instance die then drop group because they wanna go as fast as possible and create an environment that wastes others time and disheartens others from playing the game.
Yea, that. 👀
well , im a tank, and i learned to bug the boss of islando of terror because if the tank dont bug the boss ,they kick you.
I personally queue for the fun of dungeons to be honest, but I understand 100% what you're saying.
Im a tank as well, and I simply don't run island of terror anymore. And when i do, i take screen shots of the group and report them for exploiting after I get kicked, because I refuse to put my account at risk from doing exploits.
I haaaaaaaardcore feel that one.
Bro UR PART OF THE PROBLEM! Kicking ppl cuz they’re using an off meta wep combo like rlly? This is an mmo ppl are free to rock whatever wep combo they want. This whole kicking system needs to just get removed from the game or need 5 ppl to vote yes
People que as a dps when they are a tank BECAUSE they can dps. Now, don't get me wrong, some tanks can't dps.
Its normally the corner cutting script running instant grat. shits that ruin that game and make the community toxic.... and when it comes to dung, its wild that ppl are so impatient and then end up wasting time overall doing so w thier impat actions...
