Dont upgrade to Purple Gear before blue is maxed at 9, keep materials in boxes till you need em, get Skillconversionbooks and store them, do your dungeons before they cap, and transfer upgraded items plus attribute over to another item using Gold instead of leveling it up slowly. Gotcha Thx

What was the range for going to purple+9 using blue+9 later? Was it purple +7? Is that a good tech still?
@@Fl4mingo from what i saw zou can get purple up to 6 using the 9 blue and from there need to upgrade to 9 but i could be wrong. Thats how i understood it.

Basically from what I have seen in another video he is correct and it's good to actually have some context about why. Basically just max out all of your gear for a rarity; then and only then you should be going up in rarity. Game honestly does a good job not wasting your time when it comes into investment, it doesn't punish you for upgrading lower level gear.
Thanks for making a simple basic video. Sooooo many videos ive watched on this game are clearly from players who have already logged a bunch of time on the Korean release and they're just completely talking over my head. Like the game is literally not even actually released here for two more days, i havent even downloaded it yet. Stop talking to me like I already know all the terminology you're using. I think there's a huge opportunity for someone to be making absolute basic day 1 new player content, and so far I haven't seen it.

At 4 minute, you are speaking about opening boxes but you are not opening them but crafting materials from lower tier one. This "GUIDE" clickbait video confuses more than it helps !
Also, the main story gives you blue gear , do not craft it as yet , just do main story

How are the dungeons difficulty compared to other games? My girl is playing with me as her 2nd MMO and I don't wanna overwhelm her with mechanics.
Definitely not as hard as lost ark lol, I'd say they are a 5, but will probably feel like a 8-9 first time you try them.

Can i upgrade the blue gear to feed the purple even after i already started upgrading the purple gear or can it only be fed when purple gear is at 0?
I believe it can only be fed if its level 0, but it might work even if the purple has a level on it, try it and get back to me!

What I would like to know is if it's a good idea to start doing dungeons with groups before lvl 50, since the entrance tokens are time gated and I am pretty sure I can get to lvl 50 in a day if I rush the campaign.
As far as i know, yes, do dungeons, but do not open chests.

so what about the traits? you say max it out completely but what about if u max the traits do u just lose all the traits
Yes, you lose the traits, but your new gear that you are upgrading gets blessings, and blessings are used to enchant a blue trait that normally has a 10% chance to imprint on the purple, but if you use blessings, you can make it 100% chance to imprint, so you don't really lose the benefit of traiting out the original piece of armor/gear, you just lose the traits.

I want to make the switch from staff/bow to staff/dagger, my weapon mastery for both is 3, could I make the switch and not worry too much about my dagger being mastery level 0?

There are skill convercence books for free in full chapters complete in the codex . I am at 24 books with 3 full chacpers. Quess there are more :)
Content creators......rush to max level.......no. fucking no...... take your time enjoy the game learn the game and all will be fine.
You will not enjoy when you are level 35 in a pvp zone and everyone else is level 50 with max gear lol. But enjoy it at your own pace.

5 day early access and I’m still struggling to make green sets lol. This weapon crafting system is absolutely stupid. All lithographs and weapons needs to drop from loot.

u dont need to invest in traits for pve , if u wanna play early pvp , then do invest .
but keep all the gear u craft so u can later on use it's traits

Buying the game seems to a mistake, 2 days early release and still can’t play it on Xbox
On ps5! This game is nearly unplayable on console! My skill attributes menu is unresponsive. Strength. Dex etc. I can’t allocate points! I can’t go left in the inventory menu! No one tested the console version at all!

It was working fine for me today on my series x but yesterday yea it was unplayable
Hold left stick down to get a cursor override. Makes the menus usable when the normal scroll messes up.

@@Bylefted I'd argue that's lip-service to calm the f2p base. Monetarily, it's easier to ask for forgiveness than it is permission in this case.
Saturate it with more dungeons. Or introduce more pay to progress models.
Either way leads to you swiping, wait a few months as more content starts to release and the f2p market starts to get left behind and FOMO kicks in. Suddenly, that dungeon cap begins to look like a chore for the f2p crowd.
It's becoming more and more a pve mmo and will continue to do so. Why?? Because pve is king when it comes to revenue.

How is it a BDO variation? It’s built upon Korean mobile mmo gameplay loop. When they started Project TL, NCsoft was focusing on developing mobile mmos like Blade and Soul and Aion 2. Powerscore progression chasing. Think I’m bullshitting? Look at Night Crows and compare it to Throne and Liberty on its initial launch. The two games are exactly identical in design, cash shop, and guild/war focus. Hit2, MIR4/MIRM are three other games to further my case.
The game is so much better now, but the origins of the game are still present.
It's P2W...avoid the entire game at all cost.

staff and GS are the best weapons in the game. it is dumb not to level these up if you want pvp and fun. after these you can level up dagger passives easy. also set is always stay endurance never evasion.
